Question regarding MST Genesis 3 Male Skin Merchant Resource

I was so happy to see a new male Merchant skin resource until I realised that the face has a beard by default and not as an option. Surely this limits what can be done with it as a merchant resource. How do you get rid of a beard ? I have tried photoshop in the past, and no matter how careful, still get blotchy skin.
I see this is riding high in the 'what's hot' section, so is obviously selling. Does everyone want bearded characters or am I missing something here ?
Would have been an instant purchase if no beard. Perhaps there is an answer that I am not aware of, so would like to hear from any texture artists if there is a beard removal solution.
Many thanks.

While I see what you are saying and agree, the point is that it is a merchant resource which means you have to alter it to use it as such.
Yeah, I saw that beard, too and would have preferred a no beard option which would have been a clincher for me to get. I don't mind beards on a MR, but an option to not have it would be nice and I don't see that in the description.
As far as altering the texture, I think most of us know that is something we have to do, but it is easier to do that if you are starting with from beardless option and not having to take something away first before you even get started. For a lot of my guys, I use applied fiberhair beards. I'd rather start without a textured beard and make my changes to a beardless skin. Textured beards aren't always covered up by applied beards. If it doesn't have both a beard and no beard option then I think it is a really limited MR.
Does anyone actually have this and know for sure if there is or isn't a no beard option?
The beard should be relatively east to remove with a content-aware erase tool. I would do it in multiple steps: copy the chin, make a mask of the hair (easy because they are dark over a kight skin background), color the hair to match the skin, use a content-aware eraser saving that mask, repeat for the other textures like normals etc using the eraser mask... I tried a test briefly using MacPhun's SnapHeal and it was pretty easy.
There are about 30,000 hairs on an average man's face and now there is such thing as beard transplants and beard hair follicle permanent removing. Wow! I just looked this up!
I think I would buy a makeupless Woman's or Child's Merchant Resource Kit in the skin tone you need before I digitally tweezed 30,000 hairs in diffuse, bump, normal, and so on maps.
However if you like doing photo restorations of old or damaged photos the experience would be invaluable.
I'm not complaining...for an MR at that price, I'm willing to digitally pluck the beard hair. Other than that, it's a pretty nice skin.
Take a look at Zev0's Growing Up package (http://www.daz3d.com/growing-up-skin-merchant-resource-for-genesis-3-male-s), and it's got no body hair. There's a separate add-on for an adult male body hair. It looks like a pretty complete package and he makes it easy to add your own look and feel with lots of transparencies for different eye brows and other hair. And a nicely detailed tutorial for putting it together.
Sandmanmax I want to say thanks for the direction you pointed us all for the perfect facial hair removal resolution. It has been an issue when attempting to create younger male characters from the base Genesis 3 model. It was a challenge continuing to pose my character in directions to not show the stubble that comes with the Gen3 Male. I did not have the time, energy, nor patience, to sit through another editing tool to remove the elements or even create another mask. In 2019, your answer still rocks. Of course, many thanks to Zevo for a wonderful product! I have almost all of the other products in the line, I just had not added on the skin solution.
