Genesis Generation Huh?

I've got a bunch of Genesis Generation X products for Gen 3 and Gen 4.  Now I'm seeing Gen X2, G1 and G2. I think I understand that I need G1 and G2 to move morphs into the newer Genesis characters.But where does Generation X2 fit in and is it a duplicate of what I already have?

    Generation X2 is the latest version of the main program. Add-ons for Genesis 2 and 3 won't work with the original GenX program.

    So without Gen X2, there's no point in getting G1 & G2? If I re-download Generation X, will I get the upgrade? If not, does Gen X still work in DS 4.9 on the gen 3 and 4 characters?

    GenX2 is not an upgrade, it's a separate product (although there was a steep upgrade discount for several months).  The original GenX still works with DS4.9, just make sure you install the GenX version of any add-ons and not the GenX2 version.

    Ok. I bought all the add-ons I wanted when bought the Gen X, so I'm good. Thanks for the help.
