How do I tell DIM where to install files?

I thought id try out dim and see what its all about. Could someone help me out?

    Click the gear icon (Settings) in the upper right, then click on the Installation tab.  Click the + sign in the lower left to add an install path.  After adding the path, click the pulldown next to Current to set the current path to the one you added.
