ISO a good free video player for Mp4 tutorials

I have quite a few Mp4 and WMV tutorials I got from Daz3d.com but I am trying to figure out what is a good free video player to play them.  They are stored on my second hdd.  I have been using Microsoft Movies & TV app as it has an option of showing videos from my computer.  However it has been acting up of late and forgetting what videos are downloaded and having to search for them after forgetting that they were there.  I want to watch these videos since I got them and to start learning stuff about the topics such as Daz Studio, post work, content creation, etc etc etc

Another vote for Media Player Classic Home Cinema: https://mpc-hc.org VLC is another good one too: http://www.videolan.org/vlc Between those 2, you dont really need any other video players...

Both VLC and MPC will play pretty much any file format in existence, and if you find one they can't, you can always download additional codecs so they can. They are extremely flexible.

VLC has the ability to play incomplete files, a very cool feature if a file is still downloading or has a corrupt segment.

Yep. MPC does anything and everything. I especially like it because I can set my own shortcuts, and it has a nice clean UI (if you want).
