Does this product utilize bum and displacement maps.
Can the "wounds" be rotated and resized?
Are there more "Wounds" available or is the package limited only to the ones shipped with product.
Is the included PDF comprehensive?
Are there video instructions for this or the geometry shells in general?

Don't know about the rest of your questions, but the product page for the Genesis3 Male individual product lists:
Textures Include:
Read all that stuff but none of the questions that I asked about (except for the last) I've not been able to find. I have a projject that requires some scaring that I can't seem to find "ready made" and I'm a bit of klutz doing it myself. I did find a couple vids on you tube but just intro stuff. If I understand both bumpa nd displacements are used but can the wound be rotated and resized and can I make my own if necessary?
Do you mean this product: http://www.daz3d.com/wound-makeup-artist-iray-for-genesis-3-female-s ?
The pdf is here if you want to check it out and see if it will help you: http://docs.daz3d.com/lib/exe/fetch.php/public/read_me/index/31357/31357_wound-makeup-artist-iray.pdf
If it's an image overlay, you should be able to use LIE to load the overlay, rotate and reposition (I used it to add something from the LIE wound (for V4) pack to Gensis (1) before).
The pdf above suggests you can use the horizontal/vertical offset to reposition the wounds on the geo-shell, but I don't know about rotation.
(But again, per your first question, the pack contains texture and bump maps - these will be able to be added through the surfaces tab with LIE if all else fails - or is it crucial that it uses geo-shell? ).
The reason for using a geo-shell is that it can have a different UVset than the base model, so you can use these with any skin even if it uses a different UVset.
^So it's not a quality thing? Cool that the 'one-click apply' can work with any UV-set for something like 'lip scar'
LIE can also use them on any skin texture - it just needs to be done manually from the surfaces tab (can flip and rotate but I think rotation is limited to 90/180/270 degrees).
You'd also have to line up the bump-maps by manually transposing the coordinates, etc.
