installing clothing in poser

I'm trying to install a dress for victoria 4.2 figure. I've created the dress folder and separate runtime folder. When I click to install for the runtime, it says it's already there. So, then I click to install the dress folder and it says the chosen runtime is already added. Dress doesn't install. Help!

A fuller explanation of what you are doing might help - usually the Runtiem for the content is merged with the existing Runtime in the library you want to use, you don't usually create a separate library for each item.
