I am working on that problem, well trying to lol.
Are we still doing Vs? I got the impression the Victoria series was no longer the standard "must have" figure... Now it's the Gens... That sounded nasty, but I'm sure y'all know what I mean... It's very confusing... If there were a Victoria 8, then she would have to be a Genesis 4 figure right?... It's very confusing mostly because I basically don't really care, but you have so many "7" figures of which there was no previous "6", "5" or "4"... Or if there were I never heard of.
So far I've just assumed if it's a "5"- it's Genesis, if it's "6"- it's Genesis 2... And "7" would be Genesis 3... I suppose that's not so complicated on paper... Or just thinking about it...
I'm actually surprised that Genesis 4 is not out yet... Or maybe not... I haven't really purchased any of the "7" series figures... Usually the moment I decide to buy the newest figures, they become yesterday's news.
Seriously? That is depressing IMO. While it is good for DAZ's business to branch out I really hope they keep it seperate from this site and marketplace. I spend enough time around wannabe game developers on other sites and forums and the maturity and ethics levels are quite different than in this community on a whole in my experience.
I am not yet ready to throw lots and lots of my money at Daz for yet another generation of figures unless they're absolutely groundbreaking (meaning they better do my laundry and make me breakfast in bed). ;)

I'm right there with you, (but no toated bread Products)
There is a lot more that can be done with the current generation. The problem is Technology is a moving target.
It is not only and Opportunity for Daz 3D but for the PA'a as well. But you are also right, there is a different mind set.
It is sort of summed up in this ad, but I like the technical References. Dead or Alive 3 TV Ad
Well Morph 3D doesn't make sense for DAZ Studio users with a DAZ Studio Game Development license for a long time hobbyist or professional but like those extra expensive candy bars and pops at the check out counters Morph 3D products make sense in the Unity 3D Asset Store. Utlimately for the typical Unity hobbyist that picks and the engine for a phrase and then moves on to other things in life Morph3D models or a long list of free 3D models available in the Unity Asset Store make more sense really.
...that' sad as again I prefer David and Steph over Mike and Vicky. I feel that thier proportions and physiques are better. Vicky is the leggy runway fashion model while Steph is more like the girl I'd see walking down the street. Mike is more the "hunk" while David is more like the "average guy". Like usual if they do come out, they will most likely be followed in short order by the next incarnation of the Genesis figure, so once again will get minimal support. because of the "new shiny".
Soon
with all this talk people for got what the freak was a big musley guy like http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-2-swole-for-the-minotaur-6
No, The Freak is on my chart, There are a couple of would be replacements for the Freak. Ivan, Gianni, Minotaur (who I did miss).
I didn't have She Freak 2 (Gen3) and She Freak 4 (Gen4) on my list and again there are a couple of good replacement Olympia or Rune.
One which is in the chart but I missed in my narrative, is The Kids. though I think Zev0's Growing Up products are a good replacement.
well the freeak was just a guy with super muscels version of michael.
I wish next Genesis would have at least twice as dense mesh as it is now. Anyway mesh is really similar what I did years ago as my Zbrush basemesh, especially buttocks and front hips area (coincidence maybe ?). https://www.cgtrader.com/3d-models/character-people/child/girl-in-dress
Anyway I wish I had more polys around mouth and forehead areas. Even the ears got worse respectively to Genesis2. I find it hard to make unique morphs on that mesh, unless I use displacement maps, but then again we can't anmate it, expressions are poor when done only with displacements (and you need a knowledge how to do them correctly). I understand the urge to go low poly route for games, but you should consider that nowadays with engines like ue4, crytek and even unity we can easily push characters up to 80k polys.
