Short rant.

Carrara Pro 8.5 is on sale for $22.75 which is a really great price, but there have been any number of commentsfrom people today who paid $11.00--note that a DAZ PC coupon would not cover that diffrence. I thought maybe the lower price was for an upgrade sale, but could not find an upgrade.. I have a previous version of Carrara (either 6 or 7), so if that was the case the lower price should have shown up anyway.

Being on a limited budget and having two months of major sales coming up puts this out of my reach. It also leaves a bad taste that some peole are getting different sales prices.

End of short rant.

Edit: I put it in my car--one last time--with the intention of adding some really cheap products from another sale, but this time the price flipped.  Yay! Now hopefully this will work on a project that I have been stuck on for three months now.  I did a bunch of reading on Carrara when I saw the sale, and it sure looks like it will fix the problem I am having...and a lot more.  Thanks to whomever fixed this!!!

    LOL, it's still 93% off, 93% off! Are you a PC member? I already own it, yet I put it in my cart and got the low price, so it probably has some kind of qualifier

    Oh well, it will be on sale again at some point

    I hve placed it in my cart a couple of times without the price changing, but just now the price changed. However, now it won't let me check out! *sigh*

    Yes, I am a PC member, and I do have previous versions of Carrara. I cannot think of anything else that would be a qualifier that I have not meet the qualfications for...as it I could have bought a house with the amount of money I have spent here over the years. = )

    It would--I think--solve a problem I am having with a project I am working on which is why I want to pick it up now.  Yes, there is always another sale, but I kind of wanted to get this project done. = )

    The reason that it's showing up as less for some people is that there's an automatic upgrade discount for purchasers of Carrara 8 Pro that takes it to 11.37.
