Manual Package Installs - Connect

Like most of you, I have a lot of 3rd-party products I use in Daz, some from other sites and some freebies.  I usually would install them manually, but got Content Package Assist to help with the installs through DIM.  However, I was just wondering this... how do you go about installing things like that through Connect?  Where is the folder you would put the freebies and 3rd-party purchases in like you would with DIM so it installs them for you?

This has probably been covered somewhere, but since I just upgraded to v4.9 a few days ago, I didn't really pay attention to the v4.9 threads and have no idea where that info would be.

Is this even possible, or would I still use DIM for those items?

    You would need to use DIM for that -- there's no way to do it currently, and I don't know that it would even be possible to do.
