how do you use different camera angles in animate2?

Say I wanted to do an animation of someone just walking along then switch to another cam angle of him walking right up for a closeup shot at the end. What do I need to do for this in order to get the 2 camera positioned (1 at the side and the other at the end where he will walk) and so it records it. I am not sure how it works. Can someone please give me a brief explanation of how? thx.

  • Usually people would use two cameras, rendering part of the sequence through one and the rest trhough the other then combining the results (it's generally best to render to an image sequence, not direct to an animation file).

K thanks. Why do you say its best to render to an image sequence?

"K thanks. Why do you say its best to render to an image sequence?"

Because if some disaster happens that shuts down your machine at frame 289 of a 300 frame animation render,
you can restart the animation at 289 and finish it.
A movie file will be lost completely, if interrupted, and have to be rendered from frame 1 again.
