You can buy any number of animated fire props and animate them by moving parameters but AFAIK know nobody done one with a gfa file. Think may be a few pz2 or duf ones or you can use puppeteer.
http://www.daz3d.com/morphing-flames is one but you'd need to create an animation which could be saved as a gfa
I don't know of anything that was explicitly created for use with aniMate2 (all I've ever seen were aniblocks for figures/characters), but I've seen any number of products that do animated flames to the DAZ timeline. The one I have, and use most often, is the Smokin' Flames Tool, by Nerd 3D. It was available here in the DAZ store, but isn't any longer; I think he moved to that other, pretty-much-Poser-only site.
In any event, if you find something to animate your flames, you can merge the aniMate timeline with the DAZ timeline to create the final sequence.
There was a tool you use to be able to buy it here at daz , its called Nerds fire and smoke tool. which still works great in Daz Studio for animated fire its just not for iray
The only bad thing is Nerds is no longer selling stuff here at daz. and I'm not allowed to post the link to where you can find it on the daz forums. So if you go to Hivewire3d.com and put in the search Nerds fire and smoke tool it will be the first item on the search... really great tool works great for animation. . .
and they are just planes so 2d
but well made
If you're talking about cartoony non-realistic fire animation, there's the option of 3D mesh fire (like the abovementioned Morphing Flame product). I don't know of any pre-animated mesh fire products, so you need to morph animate them yourself, using external morph tool, then add fire morphs on timeline, keyframe by keyframe.
I prefer slightly more efficient fire from material animation...using textures or volumetrics. Daz's default shader bases - 3delight or Uber iRay - don't animate material by default. AniMate2 cannot do what Daz Studio cannot do.
But there are other ways to get around DS's material animation handicap...
I've managed to create IRAY fire from material animation with externally animated fire image sequences, then load the image textures into DS using Draagonstorm's Animated Texture Script Pro.
Other options exist...
There's also MCasual's awesome (and free) McJet that does 2D particle animation in DS. It's defaulted to 3delight shader. But you can manually change it to iRay.
Have fun!
Thanks all.
