New York Brownstones - anybody have it yet?

http://www.daz3d.com/new-york-brownstones

From the promo pictures, this looks very impressive and authentic. Reminds me a bit of Cobble Hilll in Brooklyn! I love that the various architectural flourishes vary among the brownstones.

If anyone has bought this, can you please tell me if a)the doors open and b) what the rear side of the brownstones looks like. I ask, because in all the areas where I've seen similar townhouses (Brooklyn and Boston), the rears of the buildings open up into a kind of backyard garden that isn't visible from the street. It's not a dealbreaker, but it would be good to know if this set has those features before I wishlist it.

From the look of the last promo, these would face back onto an alley. Don't know whether the backs actually have doors, though.

Would be useful to know whether the front door open.

The front doors open, most windows slide up and down. The front and basement gates open and close however the basement door doesn't. The back is just a brick wall so it is all about the front. But boy what a front. LOL

It's really an amazing-looking set. I'm way past tapped out at the moment, but it's definitely high up on my wishlist.

this was an early Iray material settings test but you can see the black double doors on the right open, so every front door opens and I just checked and nearly every single window opens. 2 out of the ten open to be exact. I haven't checked all 5 blocks but from memory it is the same for each.

What I do like very much is that the interiors are uvmapped and have separate mat zones for Back Wall, Walls, Ceilings and Floors, so in theory that opens up to make each one even more different internally.

PS for the record I won't benefit financially buy promoting this product and vendor.

...Stonemason also released a similar set a couple years ago which I have used in several scenes.

This is even better than I hoped! Alright, this is going in the wishlist and when I get the extra cash I'm buying it. I'd have loved it if there were garden space behind the set but the facades are really too superior for me to pass up.

I'm sure it wouldn't be too difficult to cobble together backyard spaces with other products out there :)

I know I am on one but working on the Iray Surface settings,I could see the detail put in to this set, mesh and texture wise. Now we either get new or rundown grimey places in the store and this I would say is a blend between the two. I bit of green alage here and there, some cracks etc but overall a nice well kept part of town. Probably jet washed a few years ago. Some of the doors need a new coat of Varnish though. :)
