The modelled-in belt is confusing me on the bodysuit.

was going to get an item, then found it had a requirement; already had something that did the same, so no thx.

Please let me know what is confusing you and I will do my best to clear it up for you.

It confuses me WHY you would model a belt into a bodysuit. A sleek one piece bodysuit with an extra belt, yes. But the belt looks really strange in a lot of those promos.

Hi Jaki :) Its not modelled in - its a material zone, handy to edge shirts and pants. There's an HD morph to make it look like a belt, but the suit itself is completely smooth with it turned off.

It may be like the Genesis Supersuit where a seperate belt is released later (I hope).  In the add-on textures--Super Bodysuit Superhero Textures--details, they have a "no belt" version as well as a "belt" version of each texture so at least some of the vendors took this into account.  From the look at the material zones of the actual super bodysuit, they have a seperate zone for the belt which doesn't have to be used.  But I do have to agree that it does look strange when used--hope a belt gets released for it.

The male and female Bodysuits do not require the purchase of anything else. The texture and design add-ons only require the super bodysuits. The capes do not require any additional purchase, and the cape textures, naturally, require the capes. As far as the Super Bodysuits are concerned... I guarantee you that you do not have any other clothing items this versatile. Daz has taken the bodysuit to a whole new level with this set. There are multiple geo-grafts that can be combined in many different ways... there are styling morphs out the wazoo. The promos are great, but they don't do a good job of showing, side-by-side, all the different styles, morphs, and attachments/detachments. While the "clay" render of the male bodysuit shows it only as a complete bodysuit with what looks like an additional pair of boots, there are more than a dozen geografting options, and a total of 27 HD shaping (style) morphs. These suits are just plain awesome!

AHA!!!!!!!! thank you Mada! That makes the supersuit a LOT more attractive to me :D One of those promos made G3F look like she was wearing a nappy. LOL.

Actually, speaking of material zones, can anyone who has picked up the superhero suit show what material zones it has? I see RawArt's guardian product says it adds MORE material zones, but curious what hte original suit has.

Yes... as Mada said, it has an HD morph to make it stand out (see the promos with belts that don't look funny? That's it..."). There are a couple of textures with belts which don't seem to use the morph by default, but you can alway turn it on and off as you please. The missing sleeves, pant lets, and detached hood in some of the promos might look like some sort of "transparency" option done with materials, but they are geo-grafts instead. (Example: Applying one of the Shirt Collar geografts will remove the mask/hood and give you a nice shirt collar.)

There are 23 separate Mat Zones on the male suit, plus three on the boots. The GeoGrafts each have their own Mat Zones as well.

You are most welcome! I don't think you'll be disappointed at all ;)

The add on textures turn it into a brilliant looking sci fi suit, that's what I'm really interested in. Don't really do superheroes - although I do have a sneaky desire to see someone do a Supergirl texture using the female add on skirt :D

    Was considering:

And I missed the Addon in the title; can't blame Daz for that one. :)

Could I bother you to show the material zones from the back? The only thing I never really liked about the Genesis Supersuit was the two weird "claws" on the back.

Where is the bodysuit for the Genesis male 2? I need that one as well. I really like the one for GF2 and was hoping for one with similair material zones for GM2, especially the mat zones for the sides of the body. I'm no texture artist and really need them.

Who ever is doing the promos for the new bodysuits needs to be reprimanded for not showing the material zones first.

I bought it in the morning for both woman and man, and I was really pissed of  when comparing it with the super hero suite for genesis or the ultra body suite for genesis 2, Both have much more material zones. Espsecially the ultra body suite is really great, when you want setup a special superhero.   The new suit is really buggy on my system  for instance the casual style which showed the gloves.  Her an example. This continues when working with material zones on the menu. When do the hide. I press the button nothing happens. In the moment I hoped for an update and also hope that someone will set uo a combinatioan of a cowl and a cape in the Batman style.

Why didn't GM3 get an add-on? I am glad we finally get new capes but to be honest they look bad.

Looks like alot of work went into this and I hope it does well. I am really into the superhero stuff, but I guess I am a bit jaded from using actual superhero game figures so I am holding out till I see what some addon texture artists can do with this to made them look closer to actual superheros and not generic.

Kinda surprized on Rawarts promos since the suit says it has some breast morphs to help eliminate the clingy breast issue, but his promos don't show it being used, hmmmm.

Do the boots and gloves have any morphs to change the shapes to accomodate different superhero looks (folded over, pointed, v cut, expanded, etc)

My morph "helps" with it...but the smoothing on the suit fights against it, and makes it conform tighter again. You could turn off smoothing if you prefer that look, or use a morph directly on G3F to bridge the chest (Like the one in my "No-Suit" product)

    Thanks Rawn, much appreciated!

  • Aside from the unfortunate promo art of the poor girl having her supersuit giving her a super wedgie when the guy's promo art doesn't for him, it looks pretty neat. The only thing I'd ever have use for are the add-on capes -especially since they don't have hoods, thank the maker- and maybe the skirt, but that's about it. On the upside, I could see this being applied for things besides superheroes, which is pretty cool.

Mat zones should totally be included in the promo images, imo. At least for outfits and other items that are easy to kitbash with. It would make the decision whether or not to buy a lot easier for many of us. It's really disappointing to buy something that looks like it has two or three separate zones in a certain part of the outfit only to find it's just one mat zone and has only been textured to look separated.

As a comic book artist all I can do is clap and hope that we get more super-hero stuff like this in the future. The work you guys are doing is great and I hope you all continue to put out quality super-hero products for G3F and G3M.

Cool so it is possible to edit the chest material zone to make a superman like chest logo?
