Hi
in light of some recent animtion workflow breakthroughs,
I have decided to ,at least partially, incorporate the Genesis 3 Female into my animation pipeline.
So I am looking recommedations/opinions on the best, most realistic skin maps available for G3
Keep in mind I am only intersted in photo based 3Delight
skins with a strong preference for Dark full eyebrows(brunettes) and not interested in "lower lady part Details"
As I will always be doing full dressed animation renders.
I have attached a few pictures of the type of eyebrow shapes I prefer.
Thanks

The 3DL thing is the kicker, as G3 development seems to focus almost exclusively on Iray with 3DL thrown in as an afterthought, whereas most of the G2s were designed originally for 3DL. I've been quite happily using Cayman Studio's legacy UV sets to use the older UVs and that might actually be a better option, but if you do want to go with a G3F based skin, the base skins for Gia 7 or Olympia 7 might fight your bill.
GIA 7 looks like it might be a good start
Thanks.
Lyoness does a few characters with a no brow option, so you could do the shape you want; also you could morph the brows for the shape too.
After some looking at promo images of the Current G3 offerings I will take your advise
and use my older, but superior(IMHO), V4 textures from Sydd Raven's "Vanilla Sky" set.
I do think a lot of the older textures are wonderful and don't blame you for going with the older ones. All of my favorite skin textures happen to be V4 textures. They just seam to have more detail and realism to them, imo, then many of the newer skins.
Agreed I can not really tell if any of the newer ones are photo based or not as they all look fake & plastic to me
And (IMHO)Aeon Soul & Soto are the only ones making head hair that actually holds up in a PBR,
I use blender Cycle for stills.
You could always try my free shaders. There's at least one skin shader that will work on any generation (heck, you can use it on chairs and cars, if you want some... weird... stuff)
Granted, it lacks the detail people often want in a skin. But hey.
HI if you mean these

I appreciate the offer but I am not an Iray user(DS4.7 no qualified GPU)
I render my animations in C4D native and my PBR stills in blender cycles
both of which easlily handle vicky four era image based skin maps like the unrivaled "Vanilla Sky" set
and blender lets you easily add your own SSS node if desired.
Oh duh. My bad. ;)
If you can't be bothered with baking textures from one figure to another (Blender does it I believe), I suggest you consider Blacksmith3D and its texture converter, plus the V4 to G3F plugin. My latest gallery image uses a V4 texture set on G3F, and I now have a stack of V4 textures for use on G3F (and G3M using G3F UVs). Vyktohria's V4 Wanda and Matilda textures are awesome.
