Hello community!
Does somebody here own the "Build-A-Babe Skin Texture Merchant Resource" Product by Hinky Punk, or is Hinky Punk themself around?
I'd like to know how far in depth the pdf is... does it only contain information about how to use the product in photoshop, or is there maybe an information about how to correctly apply the skin in Daz so that it is useable with an iray-render from the get go... without having to use shaders and such... (and on that note... are there any tutorials out there about creating iray textures (skin, metal, fabric...)?
Thanks in advance!

I don't own the "Build-A-Babe Skin Texture Merchant Resource", but if you check out the Readme for the product on the DAZ Wiki, there does appear to be a link to the PDF that is included with the product under "Additional Detail". It appears to be a single page document so I don't know if it has the depth you are looking for.
I have Build-A-Babe. The pdf only contains information about how to use the product in Photoshop, although some of the information could be useful in modifying any merchant resource skin.
Build-A-Babe is specifically for Genesis 3 Female. The included Face, Arms, Legs and Torso mats are Iray ready—they do not have any highlights or shadows "baked" in. You can put any G3F skin mats you own into the file and modify them, but mats not specifically for Iray may have the highlights and shadows. And of course, only MR skin mats can be used for anything you want to distribute.
Build-A-Babe does not include normal maps, which are really important in Iray. If you have Photoshop, Nvidia provides a nice filter, (https://developer.nvidia.com/nvidia-texture-tools-adobe-photoshop,) that creates normals for you. Just make sure the layer you're applying the filter to has been converted to "Background."
I hope this helps.
Thank you both for the helpfull information!
