Anyone know where I can find the F4U Corsair that Dark Edge Design made and used in the promo picture for this set?

    The image says "... using his Whistling Death model airplane." Perhaps you can PM Dark Edge Design. Or if you can't find him (her?) in the forums, PM Slosh and see if he can get the two of you in touch with each other.

    Also this is not the Dark Edge model but Anders Lejczak (ColaCola) has a nice one available for free: http://www.colacola.se/expo_f4u.htm

    Yeah I have that one but the level of detail in DarkEdgeDesigns is out of this world! Thanks for the site info.

    Hi shadowhawk1... DarkEdge has not yet released the plane, but is in the process of getting it out there :)  If I see him online today or tomorrow, I'll make sure he is aware of this thread so that he might be able to give you more information

    ...it would be nice to see some "real" aeroplanes here.  Ones that actually look like they use the real principles of aerodynamics and propulsion.

    There are a few of us like DarkEdge and myself that do high detail real-world aircraft... we're just few and far between... :)

    Thanks Slosh, I actually send him an email and he told me something similar. Its not my place to say what he said but I did get an answer. smileyyes
