Will this work in DS?

I love this texture set for SeaFolk: http://www.daz3d.com/kalypso-seafolk ; But the description states "Due to the advanced shaders used, this set is only for Poser 6 or newer.". Has anybody tried it in DAZ Studio and will it work? Of course I would expect to have to make some adjustments.

Since the description mentions specular and displacement maps, you'd at least need to set those manually in DS.
It may work well in Iray, a lot of poser only stuff I've tried does right out of the box (meaning it looks OK to me, not nesessarily how it's supposed to look in Poser).
the description :Due to the advanced shaders used, this set is only for Poser 6 or newer: makes me wonder if it uses those poser nodes and won't show up in DS.
Well, I liked it so much that I decided to take a chance and try it anyway (Afterall I could always return it if I couldn't use it). And, altough some work may be required with bump and/or displacement, it seems to work in in 3DL. Here is a quick test of it straight out of the box (no adjustments, no liights)
From memory diplacement and specular are setup via nodes in the material room, so DS wouldn't read those, that's why I said you'll need to set them up manually in DS.
Don't forget bump (if it's in there as well) also needs tweaking for Poser MATs — due to the differences between materials, any bump setting in the Poser MAT will always render as a tiny fraction of a millimeter in D|S.
