Simtenero Randomizer - Have anyone tried? It's cool but...

Lucky that I hit Fast Grab often and I've found this valuable (but cheap) thing! We almost don't have to buy new character any more. One click and we have a whole new randomized face & shape!

It is supposed to work this way. We select a morph group (such as morphs containing EYES) and hit Radomize button and it changes only morph group containing EYES. But, practically, it changes the whole other things, nose group, mouth group, cranium group, etc. Do any one find this as your problem, too? A solution is appreciated.

Not sure I understand. Whatever group you select, that is what it changes. The more groups you select the more it changes. I use it all the time and love it.

Did you clear previous selections before randomizing eyes? If not, those selections may still be selected.

Did you just type "eyes" into the filter and tell it to randomize? If so, before you randomize, look at the two sections of selected items to see what has a check mark on it. Everything  checked will be randomized. See if there are some extra morphs checked.

Thanks FSMCDesigns and barbult. Let me show what I've done. I use EYES as the key for the FIRST time. Just click Random button and notice that the chin varies. I click more and it's more obvious. This is what I'm talking about. It doesn't deliver what it is supposed to do.

I don't see anything obviously wrong, but I can't see the whole randomizer dialog box either. None of the buttons at the bottom are showing in your screen capture. Can you do a screen capture showing the whole thing, please?

Okay, I show it altogether with an example. The first one is like Putin (chin rather squarely). The second one (after clicking Random button) is pointed chin. This is not without changing any options. Thank you!

Also keep in miond when you close out of it and restart, your old settings will still be active and you will need to clear selections before starting. Obviously you have a chin morph still active somewhere.Get rid of the eye filter and search thru the whole list

Yes, FSMCDesigns. Thank you! I didn't think of these remainings. But it is not up to our common sense at all. Even checking Zero before randomize doesn't work :-(

The vendor has a thread here about the article: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/94761/update-1-3-simtenero-randomizer-commercial#latest

Maybe you go there and post about your experience? I found that Simtenero really cares about buyer's opinions and experiences, and always tries to improve the products he sells.

"Zero Before Randomizing" checkbox will only zero the selected morph values before applying a new random value to them. It does not unselect any previously selected morphs. To unselect previously selected morphs, use the "Clear Selections" button on the very bottom of the dialog box. After doing that, you can use your "eyes" filter to select only eyes morphs. I believe if you follow that sequence it will work for you.
