Oh come on... (Re: Astro sports car)

Greetings,

So there's two pose sets that came with the Astro Sports Car, and...well I just...  I literally said out loud, 'Oh come ON!' at the screen.

There's NO driving poses for G3F included. There's two for G3M.  I don't care that there's pin-up poses, that's totally expected, and they look good, but to literally not even ONCE pose G3F as a potential driver of the car just...  _sigh_

Sorry, I just had to share my frustration.

It looks like a really great car, at a really decent price, and I'm sure I'll pick it up at some point, but...come ON people. :(

Well I'm going to be disappointed if G3F & G3M poses aren't interchangeble with each other...sure some would look silly but...

Yeah, I thought that too, CypherFOX - and nonsuch00, I'd really love to see a hunk in the G3F Standing Pose 01!

Not bothering as it has no useful poses for me and do I need another Car

  • Just apply the G3M driving poses to your G3F.  G3F using G3M poses works very well.  Maybe some very slight adjustments but not near as many as past models.  I haven't tried it yet but I'll give it a go in a bit.  I've tried a lot of others though.

Poses between G3F and G3M are interchangable.

  • Rendering one right now & will post when I'm done.  The only thing you'll need to do with this pose I'm using is to tweak the arms just a little bit so the hands grip the steering wheel.

  • Ok here's a quick render.  I didn't let it finish which is why it's a bit grainy.  The only thing I changed about this pose is the head movement to look more toward the camera.  The car itself looks to have some nasty edging though.

  • Here's the other pose again grainy but oh well lol.  Again the only thing you'll need to tweak is the arm poses.

Woah, the edging looks bad for closeups!!!

If the poses are interchangeable, then why not include the driving poses for G3F?!  That would be especially useful for Smart Content users.

  • You can still see the male poses in smart content while the female is selected.  Poses for both male & female are in the same location.

Yeah definitely not good for closeups.  I tried converting it to sub d and that took care of some of the jaggedness but made other edges like bleed into each other.  Kind of disappointed.  Gonna have to save my pennies so I can get Mattymanx's cars lol.

Actually, I can see CypherFox's point. G3M and G3F are fairly interchangeable, with a few tweaks......but I think the point was, that the male has poses for actually driving the flash car, yet the female only has poses where she is draped over it like she is making out with it. Like....women would never even think of driving a car like that, cos that's a MAN thing, doncha know?

How can you drive a car in the kitchen?  :P

But seriously, there is not a single pose set I have ever used that I didn't have to tweak, as I never use just vanilla anything. Always gotta customize evertything ugh. Especially hand placement for some reason, never goes right.

So few sets include poses for men.... The sets seem to almost always have female poses, that I admit it is a relief to see a set that has guy poses at all.

That girl does not look to comfortable.....her back is not touching the chair.....her hands can't reach the steering wheel when she does and I wonder if her feet are on the pedals..the original is equiped with an adjustable driver seat (manual of motorised) and an adjustable steering wheel.....ad a few bones and voila!
