    Protoceratops andrewsi is considered to be one of the common ancestors of all the ceratopsians, including Styracosaurus, and the famous Triceratops. Discovered in the Gobi desert, one famous fossil has Protoceratops fighting a Velociraptor - and some paleontologists believe they may have been part of the origin of the myth of the Griffin!
