Love manga? Want to achieve that screen-toned look? Is this product description starting to sound somewhat familiar? From the creator of the Visual Style anime shaders for DAZ Studio comes a new shader pack, Manga Style.

So what is manga? Manga is the Japanese word for comic book, and typically refers specifically to Japanese comics. Since it's creation during the 1940s, Japanese manga always had a fresh and unique style to it, using black and white screen-tones to produced beautifully detailed and eye catching images without the need for color. This style has been copied many times by artists all over the world, and now you too can produce your own black and white manga art directly from within DAZ Studio 4.5.

This shader can take any surface (textured or not) and generate a dynamic screen-tone, using any pattern at any size; dots, lines, cross-hatching, sketches, there are presets for all these and more. And with the optional Color settings, you can even produce screen-tones of any color, brilliant for Lichtenstein style Pop Art renders or Golden Age comics!

Included are over one hundred partial presets (for mix-and-matching), over thirty ready to use manga presets, and over thirty ready to use Golden Age/Pop Art presets. As well as that, there is also one Geometry Shell shader, which changes your Geometry Shell into a toon outline!
