The two major differences is that there are many more lights that have been set up as pre-sets for you to use. These can be used simply as they are or can be tweaked to your own taste. The most significant change is the inclusion of many pre-lit scenes that you will find in your 'Scenes' library. The scenes library is completely new to Poser in version 9 and Pro 2012. This allows you to load pre-lit scenes complete with the IDL Cove, IDL sphere, lights and any materials used for that scene and ready for you to fill with figures and props. The scenes include a wide range of lighting set ups to give you everything from soft light to huge drama.
