No problems like you're describing; what morphs, type and to what applied, are you experiencing?

Like Barbult, I shan't be upgrading to 4.9 non-beta.

Start with completely new scene (just launched the app). Take anything like Victoria 7. Load her into the scene. No problem. Have her selected. Then load another figure. Can be anything. G3F base figure for example. The dialog will popup. Click on load new figure. Then the new figure will load, but with many presets already applied to some morphs. Usually the Genesis 3 Female Body Morph Resource Kit morphs but also some others. It's always the same values on the same morphs. Very annoying. This same thing will happen just by loading a figure by itself, but it's not all figures. A good portion of them.

I just tried loading G3F. It's more than just the body morph resource kit morphs. It's many of the main body morphs and lots of other morphs. When I load G3F, there are usually no morphs dialed in initially. Not anymore. I can do zero figure shape. But that doesn't fix my ability to load characters.

edit: I re-installed and the problem persists. Wonder if I didn't install something else that's messing with my default settings.

Don't install to the application folder - use the default Poser content library, or add another one, instead. Did you use Install Manager to install? If not, go to \Runtime\Libraries\!DAZ in an OS file window and run the DzCreateExPFiles-v4 and DzCreateExPFiles-m4 commands for your operating system. Then you need to go to the Pose library and in DAZ's Victoria 4>Morph Injections use the INJ pose for the base morphs, and any expansions you have, or the equivalent for Michael.

The converter affect the eyes too. The managers (the interfaces for smart customization) don't affect the eyes.

I only had one skin set: http://www.daz3d.com/rw-sirena-for-victoria-6 ,  where it changes the eyes white and I don't kow how to fix it.
 

Just seen the Genesis 3 version released... Off to buy it now.

OMG! Indeed I had not taken these kind of eyes into consideration. \o_O/

I think it may come from the fact the "eye reflection" base is automatically set to white + transparency in my case, which is the case for "normal" eyes. And in this product, the eyes colors come from the 100% opacity of "eye reflection". There is a solution :

What you can do in your case to solve your issue :

once you have converted the figure with the converter, browse back to the initial product content library (http://www.daz3d.com/rw-sirena-for-victoria-6), and in the "materials", reapply the eyes materials (in the product description it is written there are 4 or 5 eyes materials). Even if this is 3delight material, it does not matter, the managers and presets for skin, nails and lips will work too.

Make sure you don't have a /data/DAZ 3D/Genesis 3/Female/Morphs/Cake One/V7 Attitude/ in two or more content directories. If not try uninstalling the Victoria 7 Attitude products ( http://www.daz3d.com/victoria-7-attitude-bundle ) or as many of them as you have, make sure the /data/DAZ 3D/Genesis 3/Female/Morphs/Cake One/V7 Attitude/ has gone, try moving it out of the content directory if not, and reinstall the Victoria 7 Attitude stuff.

Rating: Recommend All. Nice variety of poses in the Walk Don't Run set, the hood in the hoodie can be manipulated on the top and the sides to close it toward the face. Hikari Hair goes well with hoodies/hats. I like the wrinkles in the pant legs and the detailing. Luthbell and Luthbelli always do great with details. Roisin did well in Iray and Reality.  Back Fence 2 has props that make sense and are individually moved. Recommend increasing bump so the ground plane looks like it has more depth.

Character: FW Roisin HD (V6)  with  Hikari Hair  using Walk Don't Run poses. Set is Back Fence 2    The branches do not come with the set.

The Iray one doesn't look quite right. Lighting is flat. See how much light is inside her hood? I bet you had headlamp on. Do you think so?
