The check mark indicates that a product has metadata, to add it to the content management system so that it appears in Smart Content, and in the Product and Category lists in the Content Library. Installing manually won't make up for that. If an item lacks metadata you can still find it (if it's correctly isntalled) un Poser Formats or DAZ Studio Formats in the Content Library pane - for example, Poser Formats>My DAZ 3D Library>Figures>DAZ People for Victoria 4.

No other morphs -- pure Izabella on Genesis 3 female.

I'm using Version 4.9 DAZ studio (latest) (64 bit) -- my apologies for not including this information.

Other relevant info - I have most of the Genesis 3 figures installed (Victoria, Josie, etc). I installed using the DAZ Install Manager into custom directories. No other Genesis 3 figure has shown this behavior.

Also relevant -- the deformation happens whether I open the figure from the Product, from the Content Library, or use generic Genesis 3 and dial up the Izabella body morph.

Final note - deformations ALSO happen with her face; for example, raising eyelids deforms the eyelids...

Cool, for some reason it's the first time I've got this to work.

With a caveat, the eyes have no textures on them, everything else does. I checked you suggestions in the post above; well, all were checked but for Collect Maps; checking the maps folder, the eye textures are in the export folder. And they seem to be applied correctly. Rendering grey.

If you would like to transfer full character morphs like Victoria 6, Michael 6, Mei Lin 6 and so on. It is even easier than transfer a customized character like the described Imogen for V6 character.

Choose your Base Figure Genesis2 Female or Genesis2 Male via the Source button. The GenX-Tab will show all full character morphs if you expand the (region) Actor section.

Now on the left side check all the morphs you would like to transfer and make the following adjustments in the GenX-Tab:

Mode: Selected Morphs
Shape: Genesis 2 Male ( or Genesis2 Female - it is always the same as your Source)
Target: Genesis

Click on Transfer.

Reload the Genesis1 figure and the transfered morphs should be in the same section BeeMKay told you in the post above.

If you would like to transfer just a simple Head Morph, click on Reset, choose your base figure via the source button and expand the region (Head) section. There you will see all the head morphs you have. Same applys to all other body regions, expand the required body region (hand, feet, legs) and check everything you would like to transfer.

So if that can't been use in IRay Render how do I make that sort of light using IRay?

I ask because there's no option to load a specifc G2 character.  The only G2 options in the Load Figure button are the generic Genesis 2 Male and Genesis 2 Female.  I can't tell it to load Michael 6 or Victoria 6, so I don't know if it's pointing at a specific character or simply at the G2 base figures. 

Additionally, the values of the G2 figure in question (to the right of the Load Figure/Apply Pose buttons) remain static, whether I choose, say, the Base G2 Female, or something specific like Mei Lin 6. 

Lastly, when I select Get Values From Figure In Scene, the GenX window doesn't appear to update. How do I know the "changes" I'm making have taken effect?

Pretty much any of the figures that have Poser information. Quite a few of them have Poser info as part of the install, so they should be available, or so I thought. I have as far back as Aiko 3, and Victoria 4, so those should be available, right? I also have the DSON importer. (Might need to check WHERE that installed...)

Just to make sure everyone knows (I didn't necessarily make it as obvious as I might have in the original post), I am pointing at the DAZ My Library folder, which contains the Runtime folder. I am NOT pointing it at the Runtime folder itself.

ETA: Realized that the only things I DO see are those 3rd party things that I manually installed, and not all of them, either.

I have found the Shape Shift for Genesis and Fit Control for Genesis which both seem promises but do not confirm this. Is there anywhere or anyone who might be able to?

If ypu mean use clothes for oen base figure on another then that is what AutoFit does - by default each generation of Genesis has a clone for the previous generation of the same sex and the current generation of the opposite sex butt here are additional clones in the store (you can go in steps - Victoria 4 to Genesis to Genesis 2 female to Genesis 3 Female for example - though having a clone to skip generations will improve the results).

Hi there, thanks in advance for any help you might be able to offer.

I am using Daz to make OBJs that I am texturing in C4D. When I export Victoria 6 I am finding that the UVs are stacked in a single square, this doesnt work for my workflow.

Can I change the way it exports and have each of the seven layout unstacked on individual tiles? 

I know its possible to edit the UVs manually in other programs but I would like to keep all the objects in the layered layouts Daz defines. 

I do not have "Collapse UV tiles" checked.

How usable are the props in it?  Are they only useful as static props to have around a room, or does the armor conform to figures? (If so, which?)  Do the various weapons work well for being wielded?

The armour was modelled to fit around M4 to get the proportions right but they were designed to be a static prop.  All of the weaponry is certainly usable as separate props however.  I liked the idea that Michael and Victoria could just pop along to the armoury, grab something from the wall or rack and start using it in a different scene :)

I will always trust and buy your products - often they make the difference between having puppets or people in my renders. But that is really my point - I've been buying since Victoria 3 and you would think they would notice something like glute or thigh bends that don't look natural, especially when each previous generation has had similar bending issues.

Anyhow, while you are at it, can't you fix the G3F nipples too? The default ones look like low-poly cones.

I morph for the stomach button too would be awesome. :)

For some items, you don't really need all that ^^^^.  You could just save the V4 item that was just fitted for Genesis, then using the same procedure fit it to Genesis 2 and so on.  Of course, with some items the quality of the fit will go from poor to absolutely horrible...and the above mentioned items may be the only way to get it to fit decently.

Good point, you could do v4 to G1 then G1 to G2F then G2F to G3F. But you'll usually get better results (and save quite a bit of time ^^) if you do a direct conversion..

Take for example the texture "Sepentine" which is for the Malvada V4 outfit. If I want to use this with a Gen 5 figure, would I need just the Malvada V4 mesh, just the Malvada V4 unimesh fits, both of these, or all of the above and something else as well?

You would need the v4 outfit only. Unimesh fits are useless without the base outfit and only add morphs to fit it to the various generation 4 bases (A4, G4, S4, ...) so you don't need them if you don't plan to use the outfit on V4.

Genesis 1 base includes an autofit clone for V4, so it's all you would need to fit it to a generation 5 figure. Well, I would recommend owning "Sickle Rigging and Morphing System" too, as it helps with fitting long skirts, but it's not required.

For later versions of Genesis you would need the V4 outfit and the product which provides the V4 autofit clone for G2F or G3F ("Victoria 4 for Genesis 2 Female" for G2F, "Wear them all" for G3F).
