Now that pic above takes me back in a very different way as it reminds of the Mitchell Park Horticultural Conservatory in my old hometown of Milwaukee that has three large geodesic domes which house displays of various plants inside.  One dome is dedicated to desert plants, the other to tropical plants and the third hosts rotating selections .The facility was constructed in several stages from 1959 to 1967 and refurbished in 2008

Sadly the domes are threatened with demolition though there are several groups trying to save them.  The entire facility is on the National Histroric Register.

If you're not already doing it, looking at Lightning Deals during sales impacting a product you want is a good idea, one that doesn't take that long (a minute every 3h) and while there is no guarantee, who knows, you may get lucky one day.

Victoria 9 and her bundles can appear in Lightning Deals (I saw one of her medieval smaller bundles in mines a couple of weeks ago) and Mega Bundles are eligible: that's how I got Michael 9 HD Fantasy Mega Bundle for a very good price (made even better because I still had a the 6 out of 18 Daz+ coupon).

I am the same, although, I think I may have broken the algorithm by deleting older stuff in my wish list. I, then and since, have not been offered anything in my wish list, just random stuff, including a clothing set for Victoria 1 and 2. At least the last couple of days I have been offered G8 stuff even though I have a number of Daz + and Daz originals in my wish list.I have bought stuff, maybe spent too much, which further disapoints me that I am not offered stuff I actually placed in my wish list. 

It's so fun to see how varied the gifts were for each person! I'm not 100% certain how it works, but as I understand it, the algorithm generates options from DO items in your wishlist first. If it doesn't find anything (within certain parameters) that are Daz Originals, it then generates random items. The staff doesn't manually choose gifts for each patron of Daz products, I don't think! (If they were, I'd kindly be asking Santa Daz to notice the Victoria 9 Mega Bundle sitting in there!) Lol! But the algorithm does seem pretty good at making it sort of feel like it's personal (to me, anyway). I really enjoyed the whole process and it seems it was a good time to find my way back here because it was a lot of fun to participate. And it's fun to see what others got too! Thanks for sharing, guys! And thanks again to Daz3d. 

The only issue with the free gifts, if you want to get an interactive licence for them, you have to get it that day.  After the day they vanish from the shelves and therefore can't be added.  I would have got licensesfor  the socks and jigsaw puzzle but forgot lol

The Lilithai Strigoia Bundle, Volume 1 - I just bought this.  It says compatabile for Victoria 4 and Daz Studio, both of which I have and am using.  The legs work well enough, but the wings fall apart as soon as I try posing them.  Grrrr.  Anyone have a fix for this?

Got it to work. I was refering to the wrong files. Aiyaaa... So if anyone has the same issue, I used: ...data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 9\Base\Morphs\JWolf\Emotions Expressions for Victoria 9 and then imported. Make sure only the rig is selected then click Import Custom Morph (I put it to face). And I even used it on a converted character with success.

maybe someone has an idea what I am doing wrong. I use Blender 4.0.2 with Diffeomorphic 1.7.3 latest stable build. I am trying to import https://www.daz3d.com/emotions-expressions-for-victoria-9 these expressions. However they never appear under custom morphs or anywhere. I scanned for morphs so far, build the morph database. Used the script to set the directories. I even favorited them inside daz. Saved the scene and used Export to Blender to get the dbz file. The import of the model works fine all the standard stuff imports. However in the Daz Runtime under Custom Morphs I have categories, but no expressions/morphs in it they are all blank. When I use Import Custom Morphs and go to ...People\Genesis 9\Expressions\Daz Originals\Emotions Expressions for Victoria 9\ and try to directly load a duf file nothing happens no error and no expression appears. I tried even Import Baked Correctives but to no avail. I manage to get custom expressions loaded only for G8 so far. Am I doing something wrong, or are custom expressions are not supported for G9 yet?

Without knowing the period it is hard to determine the best outfits to offer. It is only in the last hundred years that most people have the option to buy new clothing for a funeral. They might wear their existing clothing, just cleaned off, or as my mother would say, 'their go to meeting' outfits or church wear. Or a dress might be dyed as close to possible to black if in the western culture. As suggested above, use shaders where needed. I was curious on current colors by regions/ethnicities and found this website.

This is a quick search of my collection from G9 to G3 that might be used by whatever generation you are using. I hope it is helpful.

G9 Core Figure skin (specifically, Victoria, Michael, Angela, Lawrence, Freja, & Snow Queen---others too) looks like skin. I can almost approach the look with G8.1, but closeups reveal G9's indisputable superiority---for skin. As @alken said, however, the morphs for G9 don't yet allow me to make the characters look uniquely distinctive. Add to that my G8-induced fear of morph bloat, G9 Core Figure morph sameness, and less character morphs I can use from bluejaunte.

I converted my two main G8.1 female character morphs to G9, but they lost their X factor. So, I used Cayman's Genesis 9 UVs on my G8.1s. Now I have G8.1's vast morph options with G9's superior skin and eyes. The best of both worlds.

With the new update to DS, I'm going to give Genesis 9 another shot.

Victoria 9 being on sale while I have all of my punches, I couldn't Not get her. We'll see how it goes.

Even if it doesn't, Victoria is one of those bases that seems to put magic into their generation.

Thanks, I bought Victoria for 60% off today and I'll keep an eye on discounts for some of the other gen 9 models. I'm wondering if there are regional differences for pricing; the Deals plugin always shows a significantly lower current price in the price history chart than what is actually available for me. Same with the highest or regular price, which is quite a bit lower in the chart than what I see on the product page. For example, the chart shows the high for Victoria is 41.99 while the regular price on my screen is 59.99. All prices are in USD. If there are regional difference, this doesn't seem fair, especially when you factor in currency conversion. I'll try and get the biggest discounts I can going forward!
