Cookie's Clothes on Star 2.0
Hello
made a quick and dirty test: Cookie's Pringdew panty and top converted to V4 with XD4 and then autofit to G3F/Star and finally posed
Oh that's cute! :D Looks like there is a tiny bit of poke-through but I bet that's fairly easy to fix. Thank you, smaker1! :)
I'm going to look into getting that Cross Dresser thing. I think V4 might be the way to go - as I have clones for her that basically means that if something fits on V4 I can get it to fit just about ANY figure that I have, including G2F and G3F. I noticed that V4 had two different purchase options - one that just says "Victoria 4" the other says "Victoria 4 Weight Mapped". What is the difference and which one should I be getting to use with V4.2?
V4WM was a Poser-weight-mapped rig for V4, you want the regular V4.
Ah great! Thank you, Mike! :D

Here is Grandma Star
Victoria 7 with Zev0's Aging Morphs for Genesis 3 Female(s) and 50% Star 2.0.
Heard a rumor about V8Are we still doing Vs? I got the impression the Victoria series was no longer the standard "must have" figure... Now it's the Gens... That sounded nasty, but I'm sure y'all know what I mean... It's very confusing... If there were a Victoria 8, then she would have to be a Genesis 4 figure right?... It's very confusing mostly because I basically don't really care, but you have so many "7" figures of which there was no previous "6", "5" or "4"... Or if there were I never heard of.
So far I've just assumed if it's a "5"- it's Genesis, if it's "6"- it's Genesis 2... And "7" would be Genesis 3... I suppose that's not so complicated on paper... Or just thinking about it...
I'm actually surprised that Genesis 4 is not out yet... Or maybe not... I haven't really purchased any of the "7" series figures... Usually the moment I decide to buy the newest figures, they become yesterday's news.
Heard a rumor about V8This Victoria woudl like a few less Wrinkles.
The old suit just doesn't fit like it use to.
This is Zev0's Aged morphs with Subdivision at 2 and render SubD at 5.
End of G3F/M development....soon?First, let me say that I'm (mostly) happy with the G3 development shedule. It has been fast and rich. But considering that previous generation development was 2 years AND that we have almost all chars covered yet, I'm wondering if we are close to the end of this generation development and/or close to the next one.
Lets go back to numbers and facts.

Everything is already covered in G7 and we even have a (superb) STAR 2.0 !! We just have 3 more char (G3F) already sheduled, one maybe this week/tomorrow (Sunny 7 Lilith 7 Monique 7), and certainly one+ G3M (darius 7?). Freak is already covered (kinda) by the Massive morph.
So, It leaves us just very few month of G7 char publication.
The really BIG thing that is missing (and I'm dying to see it!!!!) wich was present in all previous generation is..... CREATURE CREATOR (and all sub packs: male female HD etc...)
So, i'm thinking now: are we close to next gen? (Less than 6 month?)
Dracorn's Render ThreadYour first attempted looks good despite the lighting. I do see that the features are a little exaggerated, and that's probably because you started with Riley. I think you will be happier with the results with your Genesis render, as that's what I started with. The G1 Base Female is pretty basic, so the morphs have to make up for that. When you loaded Riley, it already has morphs on top of G1 Base, so you were adding morphs on top of morphs.
What I mean is that it is important with Genesis to pay attention to what the morph is for. I.e., if it says "for Genesis," then you must load the Genesis Base (not even the female, but the androgynous base), in order for it to look right. If it says "for Victoria 5," then load V5 first. If you want Riley for Stephanie 5 to look like the promo, then you would have to load her to Stephanie 5.
This is what happens when I use the morph slider for Tamesis for Genesis on top of Victoria 5.

Any similar morphs like this lady for G2F?Hope you find it (I'd like at least one character with that approximate look as well), but I don't know if you're going to succeed finding it in Genesis 2. You might find some morphs for Victoria 4 base in Rendo. The woman in the pics seem to fit that mature , but not senior age range that the majority of PA's simply don't appear to be interested in designing. Best bet is probably going to be a lot of trial and error with the Aging app on a few figures and slowly keep track of the results.
I can probably do the aging myself. I just don't want to start from square one. It takes way too long and I don't want to spend weeks to months trying to perfect her that way.
So I'm looking for someone at least somewhat similiar to her so I can do some work on her.Any similar morphs like this lady for G2F?Hope you find it (I'd like at least one character with that approximate look as well), but I don't know if you're going to succeed finding it in Genesis 2. G3-v7Clothing are ALWAYS for a figure, not a shape. They may call Victoria 7 a 'figure' but she's really just a shape and a set of materials for Genesis 3 Female. Just think with you see V7 that is the same as G3F. The only times it will matter is when it's a character that's built on V7. That's it. There was a day when the victorias were their own figures, (v4 and below) but now it's the Genesis line, which each has their own victoria shape and uv maps.
G3-v7To start with i want to say hello and thank daz3D to creating a area where we can create our own stories, fantasies.Furthermore i ve just started using this software for 3 days and i nearly learned eveything expect a few things which i ll ask here.I want to learn about Victoria 7 characters. For example if i buy a v7 character and than i buy a clothe set for g3 female will i be able to use g3 clothing on v7 character or is it a must to buy just v7 clothings for v7 characters?Reason is i found a gorgeous v7 character but i m very curious of buying it because clothes which i like are all g3 females and there is nothing writing about v7 in g3 clothe sets.Right now in these 3 days i spent nearly 4 or 5 hours to learn this program by using it and i learned how to uit zip files, lights, posing a character and ofcourse iray.I just want to know if i can use g3 item in all v7 characters. And explaining g3 v4 v7 would be better to since i m a new user :)AIUTO...CHI CONOSCE L’ITALIANO?
Grazie sempre!
Devi cercarla dentro dazstudio e poi esportarla in poser
Ok,ho aperto Daz Studio, cerco di caricare Vic 6.....e mi dice che non trova le textures.......
Questo e' il percorso in cui le ho trovate:

Drips And Drops For Genesis 3 Females (Commercial)Find it here :
http://www.daz3d.com/drips-and-drops-for-genesis-3-female-s
http://www.daz3d.com/so-wet-bundle-for-genesis-3
Drips And Drops For Genesis 3 Females are outfits of drops and dripping drops for Genesis 3 Females. They can be also used on Genesis 3 males too with the autofit tool, even if they were intially not designed for males.
There are several outfits corresponding to different type of drops you can see on people, and you basically have three types of drips and drops :
- 5000 static drops,
- Individual Dripping Drops (DD), and
- Large Dripping Drops made of several Drops gathering at their top (LD).
All outfits come with very useful morphs (thickness, drops at tip of drips, size...), available in Parameters/Morphs/Shapes. Dripping Drops outfits (individual and large drips) can be loaded at once using the wearable presets, but also part by part if you need.
Both Dripping Drops and Large Dripping Drops are provided in two versions : Mono And Multi.
- For the Mono (Mono material) version, a single material is provided for each part of the outfit.
- For the Multi (Multi materials) version, each drip has its own material, modifiable in the surface tab or by applying a shader preset. It makes tens and tens of dripping drops that you can manage individually to show the one you want, hide some other, turn some specific ones into blood or into strange liquids.Rendering water over a body is very particular because of the refractive nature of water, this is why many shader presets and shader tools have been included so that you can handle the visibility and reaction to light of the drips, and get the best out of your drips, and your drops :) Additional shaders (blood, milk, sci-fi stuff) have been included for more possibilities.
Drips And Drops For Genesis 3 Female(s) can be found stand-alone or in the "So Wet! Bundle for Genesis 3" including also "Wet And Tanned Skins For Genesis 3" and "Tan Lines For Genesis 3 Female and Victoria 7".
As usually, you can use this thread for comments, feedback, questions, render sharing :)

V 4.2 Will Not LoadHad to take a break, do other stuff (sans V 4.2) and think about it a bit. I recalled that The Kids4 had a similar problem where it would not load if you had the Power Loader installed, so I uninstalled the PL for Victoria 4.2 and Vickie loads just fine now. I'd like to thank everyone for their suggestions and hints.
Actually that was pretty distressing as I had started buying a lot of V4 textures, morphs and clothing during the Daz sale and on renderosity.
I am now very curious as to what exactly happened to make it stop working with the power loader as this seemed to occur on it's own. I can't seem to remember if I had installed a Daz update or what, but if anyone else should discover that they have the same problem, try uninstalling your power loader. Will's TipsDo you mean, that one need to have a makeup on the transparent background?
Most of the makeups, are just the full face skin with makeup applied to it, so it will not work well, because the other skin on geoshell will be different,
unless you have some other tips to mix different skins. May be: http://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/42056/how-to-steal-makeup-a-tutorial
I've just tried Leo 7 with its geoshell's UV changed to Genesis 3 female and applied Maret's makeup to it http://www.daz3d.com/maret-for-victoria-7
and the result is below. I have to apply full Maret's material to Leo 7 geoshell, though.
Wet And Tanned Skins For Genesis 3 / Tan Lines For G3F and V7 UV Sets (Commercial)Find them here :

http://www.daz3d.com/tan-lines-for-genesis-3-female-and-victoria-7

Wet and Tanned Skins For Genesis 3 is a complete solution for rendering many skin tones, from pale to tanned and many wet looks, from dry to very wet. Well the title could have been "Vary from dry to wet and from pale or tanned the skins for Genesis 3, but it was obviously too long). Of course it is compatible with males and females.
This relies on a new shader made in shader mixer especially developped to reach a wide range of tone thanks to additional Hue, Saturation and Lightness controls, and allowing the possibility to include tan lines.
To make is simple and efficient, it works as "materials", meaning that you select the figure and double click a preset or a tool, and all skin / lips / nails will be treated all together. For users of Genitalia, you will find a script which will transfert the skins properties to the Genitalia surfaces.
As usually it has been developped to make everybody happy : tons (TONS!!!) of presets (skin tans / skins wet looks) for the beginners or advanced users in a hurry, and smart managers (tune skin yourself) documented within the manager scripts and in a pdf documentation for advanced users and professionals. Concerning the skin tan/ tones, there are 17 "families" of skin tones with, in each family, 9 tan levels (varying progressively from no tan to strong tan), with 2 suboptions for all presets (more or less brown skin).
Tan lines is an Addon for wet and tanned skins which is available separately. This is a collection of tan line patterns (from very very small bikinis to monokinis, shorts, tee shirts). The tan lines strength (visibility) can be controlled with a single dial from the surfaces editor tab, or using a dedicated interface. For now the tan lines are provided for Genesis 3 Base female UV sets, and Victoria 7 UV sets. You can try on other Genesis 3 females : depending on the tan line type and the figure you try, it may work pretty well.
I decided to link these two different products in a single topic, as well as in a bundle, the "So Wet! Bundle For Genesis 3", which will include Wet and Tanned Skins For Genesis 3, Tan Lines For Genesis 3 Base Female and Victoria 7, and Drips and Drops For Genesis 3 Female(s). I'll make a different post for Drips and Drops.
The idea behind all that is to have the "full package" for summer or action scenes, or even sports scenes : The shader (from pale to tanned from dry to wet presets), the tan lines, and the additional drops running on the body.
A few notes here based on the questions I had so far :
1. In the preview mode (Viewport Tab), you will not see the effect if you are in "texture shaded" mode for instance. If you want to preview tan / wet look / tan lines before rendering, then you have to use "Nvidia Iray" preview mode.
2. The tan lines : The tan lines remove partially the tan you applied with wet and tanned skins. You must have applied a tanned skins (wet or not) before chosing a tan line. You cannot apply a tan line if you did not apply a tanned skins using the Wet and Tanned Skins Applier before (of course the tan and the wet look can be tweaked before applying the tan lines).
Of course, feel free to use this topic for questions, worries, comments, feedback and render sharing
