You'll have to do it manually AFAIK and if you're using Smart Content, it'll create broken links for every 3DL related .duf file removed.

I'm not sure it's worth the hassle, considering .duf files related to 3DL will likely not be the main source of disk usage by any product, compared to the textures and the geometry. I checked with Gwennili for Victoria 7: the whole product once installed is using close to 1 GB of disk space, among that total, only 6.6 MB are taken by files related to 3DL Materials presets.

Glamorous Vicky 3

The poses are modelled by GV3 wearing Jim Burton's Glamorous Vicky Calendar Girls Bikini and Jim Burton's now unavailable Las Vegas Hair. Due to size restrictions, the poses are split into 01 to 05 and 06 to 10. GV3, being 5 generations older than the pose source I used (G8F), required the most work after pose conversion, but seems to work well with the poses. It might be amusing to see what is the previous most recent freebie V3 pose set released. It's probably a few years ago.

I have added more generations to the available range of underwater poses. There are now G3F, G9 and Glamorous Vicky 3 (Jim Burton's beautiful re-work of Victoria 3, known from now on as GV3). These are available in the following three posts. There are 38 renders for the poses for each generation, then a further four for the promo image. There are 10 poses, 8 of which have mirrors, and a zero pose for each generation.

I missed out on getting a giant bundle for $5 using the Christmas code with other items because I thought it would work with the DAZMAS coupon, turned out it doesn't work now because the MSRP is higher than the $50 limit (I misinterpreted it as the current sale price, which was $47) and it is one of only two DAZ original items in my wishlist - the other being the Victoria Makeup set which is also not working with the DAZMAS coupon for reasons I do not know. I'm probably going to not be able to use this coupon in the end.

I can't complain, I just bought a ton of stuff for a fraction of what it originally cost - but DAZ sales really are a pain in the butt. They really should not be so complicated.

Trying to install daz victoria 4.2 into a windows11 machine running poser13.  Everything installs, although maybe into the wrong directory, though both the base morphs and the ++ morphs do/will not appear in the parameter window and thus are not usable.   What am I missing, or doing wrong ?  Any advice is most welcome.

the hair, clothing autofit G9 for the most part. The poses can be converted over to G9 as well, maybe only with 3rd party software, but I have a feeling that probably can be manipulated from within DS without additional products

Unfortunately, they do it all the time here at DAZ as well, especially when it comes to things like facial hair on male characters, dirty and wet text texture add-ons, promo renders that show a character with seperately sold HD morphs, sets backed with a not included background photo, clothing that's shown with matching shoes, etc., etc.   That's why a lot of artists include a clay render that just shows the basic item, and at least DAZ has finally allowed artists to show figures without clothing so that you can see exactly what you're getting when you buy a character for the skin texture.  I remember being stunned back in the days og Genesis 1 when I bought some female characters and discovered that the skin textures ommited the nipples, and there was a period where the free version of Victoria 4 came with a pair of purple panties and a bra painted on the base skin.  

Aeon Soul shared a freebie, the Rosily Vest and a 'fantasy' texture pack that feels close to what you're looking for.

You can see the vest in this render, with a contemporary setting, and the same vest with a texture from the texture pack, in a fantasy setting, in this render. In both case, the vest is worn by Victoria 9, but the vest supports Genesis 8 and 9. How to get that vest is on Aeon Soul's website and you should find it easily by searching for it.

For the whatever is called in english what she's wearing around her waist, Kadis by Roguey and Strangefate has one piece of clothes that could work but they are likely plenty of products that could work too:

The cape from Kadis won't work: it's part of the shoulderpads and I don't think you can load it alone.

For the cape, the Marida Gown Outfit has one that look close to what you're looking for, at least around the neck but it's shorter (I don't have longer capes who are more on one shoulder than the other):

For the boots, the closest I can think about is the Late Medieval Boots by romarovprivate on Renderosity: they are not red, but there is a white material preset that should provide a good base to get red looking boots.

From Genesis 3, the Fantasy Barbarian Outfit has boots that could work and they should autofit without too much problem, so if you have it, I would try them before buying something else:

(In general, Genesis 3 has a lot of fantasy 'armors' barely covering anything, more than more recent Genesis figure I think, so if you have a Genesis 3 library, you could look at it to see if something could work, except for the cape because if you want to get your character to sit on it, you want dForce).

No idea about the spears, the ones I have are either very pratical ones or the ornaments are nowhere near what is shown on the picture.

You might not know this. I've been struggling for around 25 years to put together some semblance of a story with Marlin Fingle and his cast of friends or cohorts.

This little series of stumbling renders represents the most progress I've made. From what I can tell I first latched onto parts of the Moonshine Diner in 2012.

I must suffer from some sort of learning disability. It takes a long time for me to understand even the simplest stuff.

Here, in this render are Marlin Fingle, Bitti Botti, Thomas (M5), and Victoria 5. As time passed, I became lazier and just used "stock characters."

I fiddled around and finally got Marlin to sit at the counter properly. And Victoria 5 joined him.

The AI isn't always right, even if you mwan the Victoria AI assistant here. How is it broken?

About the only thing I would like to see in a Base character is if this is THE Victoria, the bundle should include the canon hair asset, too. They're always write "Susan is young business woman" Well, if she's a character with a backstory, shouldn't she have "her hair"?
