You could always kitbash. Take pieces from all sorts of outfits and put together your ideal outfit.

Thats what I do in most cases. But still.. I find the Metalic Victoria Secret underwear... Overabundant. Wouldnt be an issue if it wasnt evey single outfit for G1 G2 G3 V4... They alll follow the same impractical idea.

Victoria 4 is 10; Still a Looker...

I still think that Smith Micro needs to give us a New Victoria figure. Poser is still lacking behind in features that Genesis 3 figures get, like more ways to make characters look wet and sweaty, more genital options, etc.I can't even find a decent Genital prop for V4 but I have plenty of good ones for M4.

GenX2 Update / Genesis 3 Add-On [Commercial]

I was told in the Commons to try posting this to this thread.

GenX2 - from Aiko 4 to Genesis 2 Female?

I'm able to transfer Aiko 4 and the characters made for her to Genesis 1 with no problem.

I fail every time I try to transfer Aiko 4 (or any of the 4th generation figures or characters) to Genesis 2 Female or Male.

Should the SOURCE figure be Victoria 4, or Aiko 4?

With the transfered morphs, do I need to transfer all the morphs of Aiko 4, and Victoria 4, and Morphs++, and the Base Morphs, and the character for Aiko 4's morphs? Or just some of them?

My target figure is Genesis 2 Female.

For the GenX2 SHAPE i am not given the choice of Aiko 4 - only V4 Clone, V4 Legacy, V4 Shape. What should I choose? I'm using Gen 4 Iconic Shapes for Genesis . ( https://www.daz3d.com/gen-4-iconic-shapes-for-genesis ) I have the V4 shape and the A4 shape. Which do I use? Is this considered a Clone or a Legacy or a Shape?

How Daz Clothes Work

The grouping used to matter (in the Poser rigging system used up to Victoria 4, Michael 4 etc.) but in the weight-mapped figures like the Genesises it is used solely for seelction (click on a group to select the bone) and visibility control. For clothes to work they must have the same bones as the base figure, with the same start point and orientation - fitted items then take the transforms for their bones from the base figure (though the values can be adjusted if desired, and the fitted items can have additional bones that don't follow the base).

It's been a couple of days now since release and I haven't seen anything here on the forum about this lovely lady. So I just wish to send a big thank you to Fred Winkler Art, Sabby and Laticis Imagery that are listed as the artists responsible for this creation.

I have more G3F characters than I dare to admit, but seeing this dark skinned beauty with fiber mesh hairs for not only brows, but also "anatomical elements hair", and the possibilty for different colours and shapes of said hairs, this was an insta-buy for me.

New Anatomical Elements issue

Does anyone use "New Genitalia For Victoria 7'? I purchased it on a 3rd party site and when I apply it, it creates a crease in the glutes, seemingly regardless of all other parameters. I cannot post photos I don't think but I am not sure why this is happening to all models I apply it to. I'm sure I can offer more info if you know what i'm referring to, please let me know, thanks!

You don't need a license to print stuff for your own use.

Actually, you do. If you use an external printing service you have to send them the mesh for it to be printed, so you need permission for that. And anyway, what you purchase from DAZ is not the actual content, it's a licence to use it for a certain purpose.

Okay, let me edit it so that what I said is more clear:

You need a licence for that too, it's simply included in the standard EULA. If DAZ said in their EULA that they didn't allow 3D printing, then even if you printed them with your own printer and they never left your house then technically you would be violating the EULA.

So does that mean I could buy say Victoria 7, pose her, and then publish her on a magazine cover for commercial use without having to purchase any additional licenses or seek additional permissions from daz or the PA.

Yes, the standard EULA allows commercial use of 2D images and videos you create with the content you purchased.

The license for content purchased from the Daz store does allow commecial use of 2D renders, still or animated (with a limited exception for the Anne Marie Goddard Digital Clone for Victoria 3). For free content not purchased through the store you would need to check the terms in the readme - if it doesn't say you can then you can't.

So let me get this clear you are purchasing the license and not the content. So does that mean I could buy say Victoria 7, pose her, and then publish her on a magazine cover for commercial use without having to purchase any additional licenses or seek additional permissions from daz or the PA. Am I good to go after buying Victoria as long as i keep it 2d? Or are extra permissions and license required before going commercial?

Yep, it's the pitts. I saw the Conco De Victoria sale and though "Oh Goody" because I needed a few things for V7. The ad said over 1400 items. I ran by Walmart on the way home and load $100.00 on my Bluebird card (already had $50.00 on it for planned purchases this payday) to buy them and add some more items maybe and when I boot up my main bod to see what else I might like, low and behold, it says over 900 items for Genesis and all of the items I added to my cart were full price. DAZ just lost out on a $150.00 order because they can't make their mind up on what they are putting on sale. Oh, well off to another sight to spend my money. :-)

Full price you say? Did you have new item in your cart? Mine we all between 50 and 80% off the normal price. I spent $111.00 and feel like I made out like a bandit on this one.

I saw the same thing. Although I missed the initial 349 page listing (it was down to 23 pages by the time I saw the sale), the number of items on sale dropped again to 15 pages while I was shopping. I had a couple of really cool items in my cart that jumped from 72-80% or higher discounts to no discounts or mild discounts (30% or so). In his case he saw and was in the process of grabbing a bunch of V7 items, most of those have since been removed from the sale.

Kudos to anyone that managed to take advantage of the 'earlier in the day sale items'.

This makes me think that the Daz catalog framework is rather temeramental (most of us have seen glitches here and there), so it might be time to revamp/upgrade the underlying software. And add a 'sale good until such and such a time' as a standard feature. In this case, whomever set up the sale may have 'checked one too many boxes' on their end (honest mistakes happen), which they subsequently caught and rectified.

Doesn't make it any less annoying though.

I was so excited that so many items of my wishlist were on sale, thinking there goes the last of my store credit, but I had to run errands for Dad, get ready for family in town, came back home and sat down to shop on DAZ and all that was left were a few genesis items. Oh, well. Guess that saves my store credit...
