Reload the cart page quite a few times. I was shocked to see that I only have a 10% discount (total, instead of the 50% :)), and needed to reload it at least 3 times for the actual discount to show up.

That doesn't work for me. The Pro Bundle is still $66.13 no matter how many times I reload the cart,. NOT HAPPY!

I remember that the head and body morphs were given away for free in the past (or was it a 90% off discount?) if you bought/owned something. So I'm definitely skipping those packs for now.

Hmmm, weighing up the new features against the fact that G8F is not backwards compatable for any previous verson of DS, I might just give this a miss.

I have large pose and morph libraries for G3 and don't want to start all over again buying new stuff or converting old stuff when the pay-off in advancements is not that significant for me. Although I'm sure many others feel differently.

I am more than likely going to stay with Victoria 4, Genesis and Genesis 2 since with all the content I have works.. And I feel the same the outlay for this new figure probably wont be worth it since backward compatability seems to be quite limited at the moment....

Well tried to create a morph with Sculptris and when the figure resolution is set to base and SubDiv set to zero, when importing back as a morph it pops a mismatch error.. So looks like no morph making from me.. :(

 

Unless you made a mistake somewhere, that is giant red flag to me. Anyone tried the Hexagon bridge?

Well looking at the tutorial I did for making morphs I did as I said to do there and well yeah I did do it right so looks like things with the new figure have changed a lot..

After some experimentation, it looks like G8F will take any skin designed for G3F Base Female UV. It also seems to accept Victoria 7 UV without issue. Some of the more exotic UVs such as Teen Josie and Aiko 7 show seams. I dare say, however, that if you know how to use the Map Transfer utility, you might get away with transfering those from their native UV to G3F Base Female, and then loading them onto G8F. Can't swear to this though, as I mostly work with male figures.
