ETA: Also, "bones" in 3D is representative of muscle groups not actual 'bones', which is the reason for the "missing" third bone you are seeing.

There are definitely morphs for foot width with the earlier Genesis models up to Genesis 8, at least, for females. I'm sure someone will make one for Genesis 9 as well.

Select Morph Verts
Put parameters window into edit mode, select a morph and then run the script - it will select all the vertices used in that morphClear Morph Verts

If you have empty morphs that came across from templates you can select them in the parameter window and run the script. It will remove all empty morphs.

For those seriously not into using a modeller, one can export .obj files from D/S [no groups], rename them if/when necessary, and then import them back into D/S via the Morph Loader Pro [if making morphs].

ALSO -- this is so neat -- making "clothing" out of any of the Genesis clan members, shaped how you please [this has nothing to do with this tutorial per sa] ... and they will load FAST, like under 2 seconds maybe ... give them "actor" bones ... and then these can be posed too.

First time WRAP user here with barely an evenings worth of time in it, and this is what I came up with to wrap all the G8.1 textures on to the wrapped and brushed G8.1>G9 figure
Left tree is G9 separated into surface materials, middle is the mesh wrap, and then on the right I extract and combine the textures from G8.1 materials to save into 4 new textures for G9 mesh
I skipped the nails for now, and boy what a headache and hairpulling it was till I figured out there where multiple U "levels" for one material...
is it really this finicky or just my inexperience allowed me to find the most difficult way to get this to work? Combining Head texture was probably the most work, had to photoshop it quite a bit to fix seams and overlaps (maybe better merging in Wrap could make it less of a hasle)

Getting on the 9 train, or notRight now I don't see much reason. Sure you can convert all your stuff to G9 and make it work...but at that point why not just use a G8 figure instead?
The main things I like are the unified mesh and separate eyes and mouth. But these are not exactly revolutionary advances. G9 will need a lot more content to get me truly on board.
The thing I find most baffling is that Daz had a whole month to get this right, and still managed to botch the launch so badly. The slow trickle of content also makes it feel like this was just not planned very well. Where are the freakin morph packs? Converters? After all this hype, it doesn't feel like Daz put their best effort into this. Who is commanding this ship???
You have a chicken and egg situation here. You need G9 to storm out of the gate with a ton of content, otherwise you run a real risk of users being slow to adopt. If users are slow to adopt...that translates to slow sales for the PAs who jump on board. So this can become a serious problem. We need the content that lets users make the most of G9, and we needed that content yesterday.
The worst problem that Genesis 9 has is that Genesis 8 exists. You have an uphill battle to convince users to jump on board. I think Daz needs to be just as aggressive as they were in the early G8 days. Remember those buy this new G8 core and get 2 or 3 others free? The whole world is sliding into recession right now, Daz needs to sweeten the pot by offering a lot more free content with Genesis 9 products.
Also if you suck at lighting or posing people in a believable way, Genesis 9 is not going to make you any better. Most of the changes are pretty minor in scope. Victoria 9 has some nice textures...but that can be done with any model and there are plenty of G8 models that have amazing textures and quality.
The UV layout is weird to me. Did they really have to pull the ears out of the head like that? The body UV has these real skinny strips sticking out at the ends. The male gen mat IMO is pretty wack. You have a triangle with empty space in the middle, with the other parts split in half flanking it. There is no flow on the male gen UV, and you pretty much need a 3D painting app just to make a simple edit on this texture. I don't get how this is better.
Can't create clones of and for g9Really, all I did with Hexagon was use it as a method to get the object renamed and sent right back into D/S.
You can just export the .obj [no groups] out of D/S, rename the file, import that back into D/S using Morph Loader Pro and make the morph. I like using Hexagon because it tends to be more dummy proof for me ;-)
Trouble transfering MD outfit to G8 femaleI've done this before without a hitch, but get this weird result (see attachements), as if there's some king of simulation or pose offset happening at the end after using the Transfer Utility..
It's a mesh imported from marvelous Designer, the character is G8.1 with the Angel shapes added (that's what I exported to MD)..
If anyone has a an idea of what the problem might be..

Daz should change their motto to "Hurry up and wait...". I had to wait for the figure after buying it. Now we're expected to buy all this **** for G9 and can't even really do anything with it until god knows when. Most of the stuff that HAS come out for G9 so far relies on those missing morphs in some way. Way to go Daz. I remember a day when Daz did most everything right - products were correct on release, the company didn't breathe a word of of a figure or software release until everything was ready to go. Wow, how times have changed.
I'll be back if and when the head and body morphs show up...

Growing Up for Genesis 9 (Commercial)No need to worry..Growing Up has two morphs. It's native chest flatten morph, and also supports the breast gone morph from Daz (which I recently fixed, and mimics the chest flatten morph). Regardless, I will be attempting to make a clothing projection morph like I did with the G8 version, but I need more native G9 clothing samples first. But ultimately it is up to clothing vendors to add support for Growing Up. it s simple to see if you just take generic gen 9 slightly bend the fingers of one hand and then dial in the Arceli body, you can see how the joints are getting missaligned
or create and new arceli figure and bend fingers
1st joint is ok, 2nd and 3rd are completly broken
As stated above, the mising morph is almost certainly from the body morphss et that is due early next week - it may well be marked asa required product internally, but even if it is with no refreant the note will not show.
I would expect the joint changes to be tied to the basic shape slider, though i suppose if there was also a link to the missing morphs that might cause it. Still, it does sound like a bug so I think it is worth reporting.
The whole shape of CB Arceli looks weird. I have around 10 CB characters for Genesis 3, 8 and 8.1 and none of their bodies looks as bad as this one.
If this is tied to the not yet available morph package, DAZ is damaging the reputation of the PA's releasing early.
I logged 3 support tickets for Genesis 9 and am considering returning all of this mess.

At a guess, there was a last minute problem with the product which delayed the launch.Even the G9 Starter Essentials had problems which surfaced immediately once anyone tried to use them... Does not sound like there was much testing done, QA - What's that?
