I would just like a classically handsome man 30-ish. (In real life too!) Like a young Robert Redford or Nathan Fillion or even a young Edward 8. Also an M4 for G8. M4 was the last Daz Original male I actually found attractive. I can morph handsome guys myself off the base G8 with all the morphs I have, but it would be nice to have a handsome masuline base to start with. Sorry, I just don't find any of the DO G8 males attractive at all except Edward (as Bond) who is in an older age range...  There are tons of beautiful female characters in the market but I rarely see male characters that I find attractive. Those hot girls need hot guys! I'd be curious to see if Mousso could create males in the style of his/her(?) stunning women!

Hi!

I just bought the Michael 4 skeleton. But when rendering the controls ae visible. Even though I made the option "Visible in render" off. How do I prevent the controls to render? I have the latest 4.10.

Hey Sven Dullah! How're you doing? I'm just trying to catch up with the backlog of stuff I bought over the past 18 years. Thomas is an "out of the box" character made for both Michael 5 & Michael 4 (I think.) I hadn't done much with "Generation 4," let alone the various Genesis versions! I was thinking of buying a bunch of cop stuff. Unfortunately I can't find a good Police Station interior... Just an interrogation room, holding cell, etc. First Bastion has a wonderful exterior Police Station scene, but I "want it all!"

FYI it was an instabuy when I got online this morning :)

Also a male version would be AWESOME!!!

We haven't had a really spartan like male armor since https://www.daz3d.com/major-cache-for-michael-4 and it's a PITA to use on G3/G8.

1 - Have you bought the add-ons for GenX2? The product itself comes with support only to transfer between Generation 4 (i.e. Victoria 4, Michael 4 etc) and Genesis.

Please ask if you have questions.  I have a short walk-through to introduce people to some of Carrara's features.  Carrara has too many features for it to be a complete introduction, or even a beginner's tutorial, but it will show you how to load a genesis figure (I'd recommend sticking to genesis 1, genesis 2, Victoria 4, or Michael 4 to start).  Then load and conform some clothing.  It will show you how to place some Carrara dynamic hair on your figure.  It will show how to insert and do a simple edit of a terrain.  Ditto for plants and skies.  And, you will do a render.  My intro scene may not be very good, but it will introduce you to some basic functions.

Skylab on sharecg has many Biblically themed poses for Michael 4 (crucifixion pose, Passover prayer poses, etc.) and a few buildings and other props from that time period. The poses and items are free, but you need a sharecg account to download. Also, skylab's gallery is huge so you have to browse through quite a few pages to find everything available. Well, I've rigged a layered flame before (I believe fuseling has as well).  You may have to fiddle with the maps a little, but usually it can be done.

And I understand, too!  I was checking my sales records (as I do almost daily) and I found that my first sale of a Daz product was in 2012, and that was just when I was good enough to get on at Daz3d. :D  I started with Victoria 4 before there was a Michael 4.  There are people here who started with V1!  Back then there were almost no tutorials.  I think I learned my first rigging by bugging an artist in person.  It might have been LittleFox, for that matter, it's been so long I don't remember.

You can use autofit either directly if you have the required clones, or indirectly doing "step by step" conversions (V4 to G1 then convert result from G1 to G2F then convert result from G2F to G3F, for example).

I started actually using Studio fairly late in G3's cycle, but by now I have a good collection of things from genesis/v4 all the way through g8.  While I mostly use g8 models these days, it's not unusual at all for me to have characters from all generations in my scene, with clothing generations mixed all over the place.  I'm working on one right now that has a Genesis character, a g3 with a g8 dress (with dforce applied) and a g2 hair, and another g3 with g8 clothing.  I use whatever catches my eye at the time I'm putting the scene together.  But I've also purchased the extra utilities to make autofit work well moving stuff from generation to generation.  And when g9 comes out, I'll get the morphs for them when they release (release date will be the cheapest they'll be for quite some time) as well as the autofit utilities to add G9 into my workflow

You know, I think I own all the utilities but how about a list, jist in case I missed something somewhere?
