I will say, however, that installing through Daz Connect can be a bad idea with my scripts, especially the older ones. Daz Connect tends to have my scripts pull in support files from multiple products, which can cause issues. The first thing I would try is to uninstall the product, delete the cloud folder where the product was, and install with DIM. Often, that can fix most issues by itself.
Thanks for the quick response. And I'm pleased to say that after an uninstall and a manual reinstallation, both V4 and M4 convertors are working. It appears the Daz Central/Daz Connect service, while trying to make the install easier, decided to put both scripts in the Daz executable folder tree and not my "My Library" tree as expected. Now I've copied the files across to the right directories, everything seems to be working.
Image is the M4 UK Police Uniform (hat, jacket and trousers) from Poserworld converted to G8M. There are some artefacts on the floor between the shoes and these seem to be created from the shin areas of the trousers. But I've seen this mentioned in the manual so I'll go back and look at how it can be improved.

The convertor creates the folder for the files but there is nothing in them.
I have had others where the Could Not Set message appears multiple times in the conversion attempt. I've tried to use different conformers in case it's an error in the selection but always the same result. And even went as far as unchecking most of the options.
I've had zero success with the M4 script and out of 20 outfits for V4 tried, I've had success with just 4. One was a M4 jacket that had failed on the M4 convertor and another was a V3-V4 conversion done in EvilInnocence's XD4 convertor.
Can you suggest a solution for the morph error ? I downloaded and installed the convertors through Daz Central so wouldn't hope there is corruption already in the data.

Can't remove asset reference for most productsThe fundamental issue isn't whether I installed the product via Daz Connect. Even if I install via Daz Central / DAZ Install Manager, as soon as I log in, the product becomes locked down. The way to prevent this is apparently to never log in.

Clearly a typo here. No square means not installed through Connect, square means is installed through Connect. That's what I find.

I followed the video tutorial in this thread. So I put the script in the main menu under Favorites as described.

If you are not intending to install through daz Studio thereis no reason to have it online, but if it does go online it will refresh the metadata and will restore the entries for any deleted products

What is "installed through Connect"? I only install via Daz Central / Daz Install Manager.
Daz Connect is the installer built in to Daz Studio - the Daz purchases without squares, if Daz Studio has been online since their purchase, will have been isntalled though the application (possibly as well as your usual install, which means you will have two copies of the file since they use different locations).

Daz Central going Wacko!It is a surprise each day to see what is in the listing that is suppose to show most recent purchases. It is a randomly generated listing every day. All items have a purchase date of whatever date I open DazCentral up on.(Opened hoping it would be fixed) Today I purchased all (2001-2022) of my items on Nov. 4, tomorrow I will have purchased all on the fifth.
It no longer shows me the location of items in Daz Studio. Daz Central was a really great asset for fogged up brains and deficit memories.
I have reinstalled it, swore at it, prayed over it, and would get in there with a good sage smudging if it would let me.
Daz Central stopped working, for me, around the time of the newest update for Daz Studio, but probably not related since Richard said the information was coming from the store.
How to update Daz Studio to 4.21?Definitely some good advice above. There are so many things that central just can't do (last I checked anyway). For example: keeping your programs on C and your library on D? Forget about it... It may take some time to set everything up in DIM, but it'll be much worth the effort.

Can't remove asset reference for most productsHere's what I have to do to "fix" a product so I can delete assets from it:
- Right click on the product in Content Library and "Delete"
- Uninstall, then reinstall in Daz Central
- Refresh Content Library
If the square goes away in the product icon, you're good.
However, it seems that if you restart Daz Studio, or start another instance, the product then can no longer have assets deleted. I don't know what's going on there, but make sure you delete assets in the same session you installed the product, or else you'd have to repeat the above.

It's the opposite, actually. The one w/out the square in the icon is the one that allows uninstalling. Is there any reference as to what the squares mean? I several variations--no square, gray top right square, green top right square, and blue bottom right square.

What's the rule here? Products installed through Daz Central can have assets removed, while those installed through Daz Studio can't? What about Daz Install Manager? Why these differences?
What's even stranger is that the product w/ removable assets yesterday can no longer have assets removed today. What in the world is going on?
Daz to Blender BridgeI recently uninstalled my Daz to Blender bridge using the Install Manager, because I couldn't figure out where to find the script for it in DS and it seemed to be acting up so I thought I'd do a clean reinstall anyways, but now the bridge doesn't show up at all in my Install Manager. I even went to the page in my products and tried to download it from there, but when I clicked download, Install Manager shows no files for Product Sku: 70891, it's just blank, nothing there to download. Now I super regret uninstalling the bridge even though it was acting up, because at least then I knew it was installed and there somewhere. I really don't want to have to bother with Daz Central for this, but if it's the only way for me to get the bridge back, I just might. Any ideas/suggestions? Note: I'm on a Mac, so I wonder if that's part of the problem somehow??

I had this happen with Freak 5, got him when he was released, no problem for years and then one day, gone, couldn't use the morph, couldn't re-download, nothing. Fortunately I still had my receipt so Daz was quick to restore him to my account.

In my understanding it makes sense to fix this first, because it should be working.

Evidently it was not the very original which failed after only a few months; but was one brought back to Utica.
