Zebra for Daz Horse 3
I would also love to see a Zebra for Daz Horse 3, and perhaps an Okapi as well? In fact, with a bit of work, someone might even be able to morph it into a nice giraffe, who knows?
Hair problems with many charactersPerttiA said:
One workaround is to select the figure, check your head morphs, and choose one that would produce the same kind of effect - Dial it to 1%
Select the hair and choose "Show hidden properties" and use the name of the chosen morph as a filter to find it.
Choose "properties" of the morph-dial and change the status of autofollow (remove the check mark) and exit the properties
Dial the morph to a value that corrects the problem.I have same problem and don't fully understand this instruction. Can I ask someone to explain it?

I think the vendor gave a pretty clear guideline. First load the garment to G8M, dial 'Transfer To: Genesis8Female' to 100% and save those hidden 'XID...' dials as Morph Assets. Then load the garment to G8F...
The CFRK includes a script that works without you manually saving anything, apart from the garment itself after everything is done.
Yeah, forgot to mention that script~ The script is used for preventing auto-fit and generating cross-gender morphs... @foxyfoxfurries you need to run that script before saving morphs assets...
Ok thank for all of you!
But in step 4 and 5 I kinda didnt understand what I really need to do , I did all the steps but didnt understand , Wish he was made a video to make it more easy I dont really know where all this options.
Im sorry if its easy to do and I ask to many questions but I really dont find it , I did it also the scriptI just sent you a quick video demo. Pls check your Inbox ~
Thanks and thanks for all of you!!!! I will check it right now! :)

In theory, male clothing can be fit to females and vice versa, but I can't imagine that particular outfit working well cross-gender. If you have something that's similar in design, you could try doing the scene identification trick to it: load it into the scene with nothing selected, so that it doesn't try to autofit to the female figure; select it and click the three-lined "hamburger" icon in the scene pane, and go to Edit -> Scene Identification. Change Preferred Base to G8F, then accept and fit the outfit to G8F. This is recommended over autofit because autofit deletes additional bones in the outfit, but it is more time-consuming if you're doing multiple items. If you have the Cross-Figure Resource Kit, you can do the same thing, since that streamlines the process. In any case, attempting to fit an outfit with a similarly outrageous design that you already own will give you some indication of how this will fit.
@Leana @crosswind @Gordig Thanks for the comment and help!
About the Cross-Figure Resource Kit , If I buy the outfit and put it on my G8F model and I follow your comment step by step it will works? and its easy to do? want to make sure before I buy it hahaTHANKS SO MUCH for all of you :)
Cross-figure Kit works well in most case~ As for some unique body morph of G8F, you might need to make some fixing ~ But still the Kit will help to save lots of your time...
Thank you very much , Its easy to do ? I mean I put it on my model G8F before and then put this help software or I need to put it on nothing and then convert it to my model size.
If its hard to do I think I will pass it that's why I asking haha thanks BTW :)
Actually it's pretty simple, pls just check this page to follow the steps: http://docs.daz3d.com/doku.php/public/read_me/index/59859/start
Thank you very much you really help me a lot! I tryed to translte everything also make it on my DAZ but the question is I need to load my girl G8F and put the outfit on her? Because its tell me how to fit it to her and its not saying anything there. Sorry for all this question I really need it the simple as posible haha , Thanks! :)

Well my english is not that good + im not that good to find things , Its like japanese to me haha , any way I understand what you and he mean BUT I need to put my G8F and put the outfit on her make it fit to G8M and then start doing it? or just load the outfit on the DAZ screen without model? It's also have a lot of parts I need to pick them all together? or one by one?
Wish it was to G8F already and everything was perfect lolBTW I use the genesis 8m fit on my genesis 8f and its kinda looks good , I also use FIT Control and I made it looks more good on her , Problem only the hat I cant change that much and also the cape a little bit buggy and she dont have scrips.
And now I see why you told me to fit it to G8F because the armor changed his shape when I move her... I will try it out lol I dont have a choice and to read it step by step even I know it takes me hours to do so and even more.
Also can I give someone to do it for me ? like if it to G8F? I dont mind even pay to him if its even possible.
G8(G8.1) head morph to G9 Head morph ?THANKS, IT WORKS ! I followed this video from The WP Guru youtube channel :
"Converting Genesis 8 Character Shapes to Genesis 9"
You will need a lot of steps tough.
But it is worthwhile !
I managed to apply bodyshape+headshape of one G8.1F and apply to a G9 figure.
The bad news is that you will get bad bones control (But WP Guru explains very well how to correct this in the video).
The other bad thing that could happen is the socket of the eyesthat might not be defined correctly for the G9 eyes to be crested correctly. I tried to apply some X scale and Z scale to the Genesis 9 Eyes but it still not fit as I would like to.But hey, it works !
I can now convert my fanart morphs from G8/8.1 to G9 with this way of doing. An example of a render that I've made attached to this post.
It's Xiu Lin 9 HD with her hair as the material skin body.
(Load her in full HD and then get the slider of her head and body to 0% to return her to G9 base shape)
I applied the morph that I saved in obj with the morph loader pro to have the slider needed to make it shape the way I need to.Merging Surfaces?crosswind said:
Merge Geometry function zeros the shape of graft before merging process so as to ensure a 'welded geometry' with no seam / intersection in between graft and figure. Only the morphs on the figure will be kept if you dialed some...
Not really important to me what morphs are currently applied, I st need all the morphs that have been on the figure when I merged to work on the grafts as I dial them. For that it seems like I need to transfer them before merging(?)
I'm making a customizable figure so I need morphs being interactive after export. Which works great until grafts are merged.
Also each separate mesh is a separate shadow caster, which also adds to the rendering costs.
Oh no... The most important part is that for unmerged figure each submesh/material counts as the entire mesh for some rendering operations. So if my figure is 60k polygons, it comes out as 1 million polygons with that number of separate elements. Or maybe DAZ Bridge creates unoptimized meshes.
And I just found out that figure merged with attachments loses subdivision which I do use. So seems that Merge fitted whatever is not a usable solution also because of that reason. In conclusion.. The best I can do is to merge surfaces inside the figure itself. And merge all my attachments into one. This still gives my renderer double the amount of vertices to process but at least not a million. Or I'll just write a Unity script that will merge everything..
Merging Surfaces?Richard Haseltine said:
Had the morphs already been transferred to the grafts? Until that hapens (custom morph added or morph applied to the base) theer are no deltas to transfer, so if you then set a new morph on the base figure the ex-graft vertices will - correctly - remain unchanged.
I can not imagine a case where I would not want to transfer the morphs to the figure from the grafts when merging them, so I naturally assume that it will happen automatically. If not, what is the way to do it?
I'll search for a way to do it, but the only way that sounds like it is supposed to do it is transfer utility which already been ran from figure to the grafts. So again I assumed that it transfrered all the morphs already in some hidden category and that that's how the follower meses work. Which is confirmed by the fact that when grafts and clothing are exported to Unity they do have all the morphs from the figure. So againn I'm really confused by the fact that after merging those graft vertices act like they never seen a figure morph in their life.
Maybe the answer to your question is "Yes, they have been transfered". But there are multiple reasons to think that it is not the kind of transfer that you mean.Running transfer utility from original figure to the merged one, and it freezes. I don't even have that many morphs.

Freebies for Lady Littlefox's StarYou say that you have both the Poser and Daz versions of Star; does that mean you have Star 2.0? She's a morph for G3, so any G3 skins will work, and there are plenty of those for free.
Generations 2 G8F shape presetsAn expansion of my previous Generations pack, this is a new collection of Shape and Parameter saved preset files that apply various face, body and proportion settings to the DAZ Genesis 8 Female character model. Most of these are taller or shorter than the default settings, and some exotic, fantasy-oriented settings are included. These files are meant to be unpacked in the same directory structure as Generations; the morph files for the upper breast/pec area included in this pack can and should overwrite the ones included in the first Generations pack.

But what tutorial??If your character is humanoidish, you can just wrap a genesis figure base mesh on it and then load it as a morph rather than rig it.
Newbie help creating a true-to-life modelThanks, I appreciate the links! Unfortunately, it looks like I'll run into the same issues with FaceGen that I have with Face Transfer, lack of viable source material. All the photos I have are all full of teeth, glasses, bad lighting, etc. The results from Face Transfer are terrible, doubt FaceGen would fare any better. Are there any more "old school" ways that might work with less-than-ideal source material?
