The dzinstall message is not an error, it is expected behaviour if you have not used the stand-alone installers.

I purchased Ron's Hydro Explosion photoshop brushes. The asset does not appear in DIM or DAZ Central for downloading.  The option for manual install does not work in the DAZ page. How do I download it?

That OP's assumption might be correct. These workarounds are really worth trying: install a DS copy via Central or offline install the DS IM package in DIM.
I think the SSL certificate / activation should come from a VC++ library. Both of DIM and DS packages include VC++ redistribution pack but issues may be still incurred case by case...

Jenner2005 - I've had nothing but issues with attempting to do a fresh install on my machines.  The issue is the same for both the PC and Mac OS using W11 Pro and Monterey.  I did not bother with using Daz Central, but attempted at least 8 times on each platform to go direct from DIM.  DIM installs fine, but Daz Studio refuses to install after the download....and let's not get started on anything related to PostgreSQL/CMS nightmare.  I thought at first it may be an Apple thing, but was proven wrong when I switched to W11.

I hope you're able to get this figured out to share some insight with some of the rest of us who have rolled out efforts to complete fresh installs.

Daz Central and DIM share settings, where applicable, so I am not at all sure why that would happen - assuming it wasn't missing the UAC prompt of similar.

You're right, I mistyped.  I used DAZ Central to install Studio, then DIM started working.

It's not the downloads, once I got Studio installed through Connect  Central everything else downloaded fine. All I can recommend for those still unable to install Studio itself is to use the alternate method of DAZ Central to put Studio in, then use DIM to install your content. 

No, Daz Studio can uninstall only content it itself installed. Why not install Daz Central or Daz Install Manager, tel them where the manifests are if you don't have the paths set anymore, and let them uninstall?

because it has installed the dll file (dzblenderbridge.dll) in another folder than the daz studio file which is in C:\Daz 3D\Applications\64-bit\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4

SO here is what i have done : i copy paste the dll file INTO the path above C:\Daz 3D\Applications\64-bit\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4>>>>> PLUGINS

FIRST STEP RESOLVED : the send to blender appear in daz studio > fILE > send to

i don't know if the entire process will worked but ... if my answer can help resolving at least this first step .... then i am happy .....

It makes an attempt to download for about a quarter of a second and then fails. I don't think this has anything to do with DAZ's servers, this is behaving as if there's no such user or no internet connection at all. 

I installed it fresh in a new folder, no luck. This is...kinda getting to be a gigantic problem for me.

EDIT: I got Studio installed using DAZ Connect Central and now DIM is installing other content normally. Didn't end up in the directory I wanted, but it's not a huge deal since it's all going to be on the same drive now anyway.

Are your manual installed items in the same library as that from Daz Central?

Essentially you can copy (move) your libraries to a new location, and then edit the library path in Daz Studio Edit > Preferences > Content > Content Directory Manager.

Then it should work in Daz Studio.

But to get new installation to get to your new location, you must change it in your installer. I don't know if you in Daz Central can set a custom path. In DIM you can.

And to get Daz Central / DIM to know where the current content is installed, it uses the manifest files. So it would be best to update the paths in all the manifest files to the new path. Notepad++ can help with that.

Hey so I have the same question, and I'm REALLY a novice.
So do I simply download this github file and put it where the bridge is supposed to go in the Unreal filepath?
Its insane how out of date this bridge stuff is and guide through the normal means within Daz, their website, their videos, their software, its all a mess that doesnt lead to answers.
So what happened with me was that I downloaded the Unreal bridge like it has me do with Daz Central. It opens up Daz 3D, then I try to send the plug in over, and it says the only version is for 5.0. I do it anyways.
My unreal Engine 5.1 sees the plug in, I turn it on, it has me restart Unreal 5.1. Then when I try to make any project file with the plug in file it wont even open the program! So im dead in the water with this useless bridge. Will the download from your link this simply?

Living in California, we have a lot of beautiful parks like Memcneil70 mentions. Would be cool to see options "more park like" in terms of those, maybe even just parking lot areas or camp ground type or better yet some lakes with more modern fishing amenities.
Open parks, wide lawns, trees, and various walkways with benches. Kind of Central Park or just the classic movie park is what I have been looking for. Daz can only handle so much memory strain, and I get that these would be intensive to both make and use, but some options besides gardens and private pathways would still be great to have.

I usually use DAZ Central for items I buy on the DAZ website, but I do manual installs for all other content.
