Why does one have to be rocket scientict to make this work? Morphs on Gen 1 and Gen 2
The parameters tab remains empty, no matter where innthevhierarchy I click!
This leads me to believe that your problem is not Smart Content. This sounds like a problem installing or locating the morph dsf/DSON files. The base morphs should be installed with the Genesis Starter Essentials installation package. Genesis 2 figures also have starter essentials install files. I believe they get installed in the "data" file folder, which should be in the same file directory as your default Studio content. Victoria 6. etc. full body morphs are installed in folders within this data file. Morph packages also get installed in the data file.
My guess is either that the morph dsf/DSON files are not installed in the correct directory, or that for some reason the whole data file tree is not in the same content location as your people file tree.
Victoria 4 ?Victoria 4 base figure is here: https://www.daz3d.com/victoria-4-2-base

Remakes of Old Victoria & Michael Clothing
I think you're missing the point of his comment, namely that if a product doesn't sell well enough, the person that made it probably won't be willing to make the same thing for a different base figure. Doesn't matter how popular you think it might be with buyers.maybe it didn't sell well to warrant a remake. I know I would have no interest in it
This is the link to the dress: https://www.daz3d.com/blue-moods
Firstly, there are thousands of products that I and all other Daz customers have no interest in, but that doesn't mean that any one won't be exactly what other customers are looking for. I'm currently planning some period compositions, some of which will be 30s and art deco based, so I've been collecting suitable items re which the above dress and headpiece are perfect. But these latter could be given variant shapes and a series of materials which would make the costumes great for sci-fi nobles and priestesses, and also for fantasy nobles and sorceresses. Having always loved art deco this costume is ideal for some of my planned compositions despite that there's only the one colour, but being for Victoria 3 I can't use it. There are also other old costumes for V4 & M4 or earlier re which at least to me are nicer designs than current parallels for G2-G8 characters, so I can't see remakes not being popular, or in some cases even more popular than current parallels. There also seem to be more period pieces for the earlier models than for the later, and I've often seen requests for such in this forum.

It would be very funny to see M8 doing those moves though...

Dance of the Veils 2 (V8) Genna (Teen Jane 8) Short Wet Hair (G8M/F) dForce Kakenda Outfit (G8F)
I tried Dance of the Veils, didn't really understand how it worked. But there are poses, then there's numerous veils which go with them. Then you can scale, translate them in to place based on the size of your character. It's an interesting concept. I was playing with a couple products and threw them together.
I really don't like the shoes with Kakenda. It has a line that separates the toes and I think it makes it look like it's an error. You know, like when you put the shoes of one generation on another one.
The veils have different material zones for the front and back, which is nice.
Reminder- Short Wet Hair also has a wet geoshell for the character's body. I added it just for fun (it makes no sense for her to be wet LOL)
But the Bills won!
Squish da Fish!!!!!! AIUTO...CHI CONOSCE L’ITALIANO?

Fossi in te conserverei i mortaretti.

4.12 Pose & prop not applying poseIts two different ones. Sickleyields towel and disordercode Bath towel and poses for Victoria 8. Both have worked previously, I only discovered the issue today when trying to use them
The Daz figuresAm I getting the feeling that the Daz figures are maybe not the best choice for using in Poser - or is that an overstatement?
Daz figures up to generation 4 (Victoria / Michael 4) were made for Poser.
The Genesis line (generations 5 to 8) is native to DS, and can be used in Poser up to a point with plugins (for G1 and G2) or workarounds (for G3 and G8, which use a rigging system Poser doesn't support). If you want a figure native to Poser that you can use "as is", then the Genesis line is indeed not for you. Generation 4 figures are an option, they don't use the latest tech but they're still very popular and there's tons of content available for them.

Novica & Forum Members Tips & Product Reviews Pt 12X-Fashion Forever Bodysuit (G8F) Nesena Hair (G3F/G8F) Jepes Cinematic5 Props And Poses (M8) JP Doris Curtain Poses/Props (V8)
So this took most of the afternoon, playing. I got Chandler yesterday during that stack up sale for $4.85 due to the materials. I got that bodysuit for $2.69 last Saturday and the Cinematic 5 product for $5.99 The Doris Curtain was 1.69 (in the 1.99 section with additional discount.) I just shake my head when people say they aren't finding anything in sales that they can use. So many things can be changed up and not "out of the box" restricted. If you don't like a character's looks, look at the materials and see if that's worth the price. Or just change up the looks with morphs.
I liked the thick brows that aren't chopped across the bottom and look more natural than the fiber mesh. I wondered how she'd do as a Noridc/Native American cross with the nose, larger eyes with a bit of a tilt, and the entire mouth overhauled. I also find it too gooey for my personal tastes, so I reduced the glossy and increased the bump, added a bit of metallicity.
Something interesting, when I tried to apply Chandler's head morphs back onto the figure which I had changed, nothing happened. (I had Chandler selected, it should have worked.) I tried it from the Folder in Content Library and the entire body/head by applying the Character from the avatar section.
TIP: For the background- I first loaded a JP Doris Curtain, the vertical one with straight vertical folds. I found when I held CTRL to add a gradient material (not shader) it made funky squares when I selected "Ignore." Then you use the Cinematic5 prop in FRONT of the Doris Curtain, and reduce the Cinematic5 opacity so the Doris Curtain can be seen behind it. Voila, you have a cool background. There's so many geometric patterns and materials between the two products, you get a lot of opportunities!
So try the Doris Curtain and Cinematic5 together if you have them. Be aware your lighting will create glare, depending on what you use and where the props are in relationship to the lights.
Here's what I'm testing- Click N Render, currently 80% off. It's PC+. Below you can see how the lighting really changes up the appearance of the props in the background. Just mouse over each one and it will tell you the number of the light used. I'm not putting all those in a post, it's easy to see them side by side below.
This first render was another version of my Chandler, then I did more tweaking. I used DOF for the background too. I love how those two products work together- the Doris Curtain and the Cinematic5 !
Original on your left, my tweaked Chandler on the right. A couple things I did-
Made the lower face a tad bit longer.
Brought both lips in a bit on the depth, they really stuck out.
Reduced volume on both lips too.
Slanted the eyes.
Made more of an upper eyelid.
Lowered the nose.
Slanted the eyes.
Removed a lot of the nose bump.
More nose wings and lowered the tip of the nose.
Widened the mouth. I like my mouth corners to come to the pupil of the eye.
Deepened the philtrum and made the peak space wider.
Widened the eyes, further apart. Also enlarged the eyes.
Widened nose bridge.
Changed all the curves on the inside of the lip (where the lips meet. Both inner (toward corners) and middle)Show Us Your Iray Renders. Part VIIThis was done as a contribution to the thread about misinterpreting the NVITWS acronym (so that it's not "Naked Vicky In a Temple With a Sword", although V is supposed to remain "Vicky").
Given that I have actually previously turned (the G8F version of) Victoria 7 into a robot for one of my universes, I loaded up that character set as something a bit different (but still Victoria based).
And so, this is "Newfangled Vicky Impersonating The White Stripes".
(As for whether the acronym should have A's in it... well, that's the version that was in the challenge thread title, and the whole idea started as part of another discussion on creativity and inspiration, so I still see it as within the spirit of the challenge).(And for those this this doesn't mean anything to, a Youtube link)

Parameters search results not showing in the rootI don't recall its being different - after all therev may be several matches in different groups.
When you make a search with Actor selected, let's say "victoria", do her morphs show for you at the right there in Actor or it shows also blank like mine?
It used to show to me, but now i have to navigate all the way to where it is...
How to install/use Stephanie 4 (S4)If this is DS, and if you install the PowerLoader files for Victoria 4 and Stephanie 4, then you don't need to run the batch file - just use the dialogue that pops up on loading Victoria 4 or Stephanie 4 to select the add-on to be loaded.
The OP states that he is using Poser 9
Sorry, missed that.
SY Ultra templates and Sy clones for v4...not in DIMMI purchased these today
SY Ultra Templates Genesis 8 Female(s), SY Victoria 4 and Michael 4 Clones for Genesis 8
They both show up in my product list on the website, but they do not appear in the DIMM (Install manager), The sku comes up blank in the dimm as well. I had to manully install them. Is this a know problem with those two products? Wonder haow many other I have purchased and overlooked like this?
They do show up in daz connect, I guess that's the best way to install them?
