I previously did this. I know I did. And Google search still suggests this although it also suggests Edit > Figure > Pose ... which no longer exists either. I'm am trying in Daz Studio Alpha 6.25.2025.30407 and in Daz Studio 4.24.0.3.
Is there a trick I've forgotten?
Steps:

1. Select Genesis 9 Figure.
2. Select a Genesis 8 Female pose.
3. Hit Ctrl+Alt+P. Nothing happens. Does not register as command in the Undo register.
4. Go to menu Edit > Figure > ... look for Pose ... does not exist.

I've used the Bone Minions from Riversoft Art, and those seem fine but require extra steps in the process to add the bones, apply to the bones, remove the bones.

For G8/8.1 poses, take a look for freebies on Renderosity. There are a number of good ones for G8F by bbarbs, OneSix, richardandtracy, pjz99/excessive. I've posted a couple of hundred poses just myself. My most popular download is a pose pack of a hundred poses which gives a good starting point for many events. First, it has nothing to do with the TurboLoader Missing Product, so we can ignore that. What version of DS are you using? What version of TL? What are the directories in your Content Directory Manager?

The first question "where/how to get the "Alpha"?":

1. Install the Daz Install Manager (DIM): If you don't have it, download and install the DIM from the Daz 3D website.
2. Log in to DIM: Open the Install Manager and log in with your Daz account.
3. Enable Public Build: Go to the "Download Filters" tab on the left, scroll to "Release Channel Tags," and make sure the "Public Build" box is checked. Click "Accept".
4. Search for Daz Studio 2025: In the filter field on the "Ready to Download" tab, type "Daz Studio 2025".
5. Download and install: The Daz Studio 2025 Alpha will appear in the list. Download and install it from there. 

The second question "how to get its updates?":

1. The updates will appear in DIM as they become available
2. When you login, you will probably occasionally get a message that a new version is available

​Don't hesitate to ask in the forums if you have questions.  In this case, DAZ3D sent out several emails and it is mentioned in the forums serval times. And none (zero, zilch, nada) make it clear where/how to get the Alpha or its updates. It's "possible" to excavate the information, as I did, but finding updates, as opposed to merely being informed of their existence and their possible new or improved features is a Herculean task. I realize I'm just a guy who spends a ton of mony on products here, hence my opinions have no weight, but perhaps pinning a thread SPECIFICALLY for the purpose of obtaining the Alpha and its updates might have some small utility? Especially in light of the link in DS not doing anything useful with DIM? Just a suggestion. It's not like I'm vainly hoping that the forum search functions ever get otimized before the heat death of the universe or anything. Just a simple way to find and update the Alpha, or is that too much to ask? 

I might point out that I recently had to rebuild my system, and now I have a 5090, so I can't use (render) in DS4. I have a 9950X3D CPU, 193 GB of RAM, and a 5090 in my system. I even built a 12 TB SSD external RAID to load DS Libraries on. So a little assistance would be appreciated. Just don't ask me to praise using DIM to install DS or its libraries somewhere other than my boot drive. That was like pulling teeth with a prybar. It was so tedious and repetitive that I feared I'd wear out my SSDs before I ever succeeded.

Hi, I hope you all are doing well and having a good start to the week. I am currently playing around with Daz3D Studio and I saw some outfits in another visual novel that caught my eye. I have spent hours upon hours on the Daz3D store using every search phrase I can come up with without any luck. If someone who knows where I could find them would be so kind as to provide links, I would be extremely grateful. One note, the sun dress has the same pattern all the way down, but has what looks like a rope belt at stomach level. Thank you all in advance for reading this and providing input.

I don't know. A long time ago I downloaded the Beta build so I could be rendering on one instance of DS while I continued to work on the other.  Now I just update both at the same time whenever the new updates come out. I don't see a big difference except for little things once in a while like this WSPusher. Here is a screenshot of it, but I can't seem to make it do anything, lol.

You can go to the folder: C:\Program Files\DAZ 3D\DAZStudio4 Public Build\plugins (or the application folder where you installed DS Public Build...), search by push , or especially check *.dll files not started with dz. You should be able to find the culprit.

Then remove the culprit DLL file from that folder. Relaunch DS.

Horo, gorgeous.  I don't see the pyramid but I'm assuming that it's where some of those reflections come from.

You could try using the search terms "bodysuit"  and "catsuit"  see if something similar pops up. 

 

No, the guide clearly states it requires : ....adjacent triangles (both visually and in order of facet indices) ~  For instance:

In screenshot 1, the Cube on the left is formed by adjacent tris (sequential facet index), so it can be Detriangulated.

In screenshot 2, I made a Cube in Blender with non-adjacent tris (Triangulated with Fixed quad method), which is on the right. It cannot be Detriangulated.

In screenshot 3, I modified the facet index of the "problematic Cube" in DUF... to make them in order. Then it can be Detriangulated.

If an object meets the above requirement, it can be Detriangulated successfully. (screenshot 4)

Edit: Suggest you seek other ways of remesh / retopo if you want to keep the UVs of those garments. For instance, with Blender + Retopo Planes (search Retopo Planes on https://superhivemarket.com)

@memcneil70 thank you for testing that out, it's good to know it's not a glitch in my matrix. And you're right, it does look like G9 is wearing her mum's clothes. The g8F version does have better proportions, I just dislike bare midriffs unless they are on a beach, I'm very old school I know. I fell in love with this product when it first came out and I waited patiently till I could afford to get it...I love the materials too, they're gorgeous. I shall play around and see if I can get the vest a bit longer maybe. Or I could search for another top in my far too extensive collection.
