are yoo a thread killer?
I can kill any thread where someone (usually a newbie with like three posts) is looking for a free prop of a particular thing that's hard to find... all I have to do is mention 3D Warehouse and how to convert the model from .skp to .obj and that thread drops dead instantly... mentioning SketchUp is like mentioning Sauron and Voldemort's love child at the stroke of midnight three times... added death points if I mention how to check and flip the normals.
I've taken to saying "it can be done, but it's not something you'd probably want to do"... just to keep the thread alive so I can see more people suggest $300 TurboSquid or CGtrader models of a similar thing...

Emission Profiles. So I modelled my bedroom. Well actually I modelled what I want it to look like after refurb, using Sketchup, then rendered it with Daz. I have some hex LED lights (emissives) but they don't look right. I think they need an emission profile (they do light up the area when the ball lights are turned off, so they are emitting). I tried playing with bloom but it just blow them out.
I also checked Jürgen Furrer's IES database and it doesn't seem to have caught up with new RGB/LED stuff. It's mostly spotlamps and so on. Any ideas? Maybe as there's no backlight and they're flat against the wall the light really is just diffusing around the room. I expected it to light the painting a little and maybe the front wall.
Now I'm staring at it I think perhaps I should just get rid of them! But they're fun to have as you can change the colour according to mood.

The only ones remotely similar that I've been able to find are for sale at 3D model specific sites. The gurneys in the DAZ store are more hospital beds than an actual transport gurney- or they are MUCH older varieties.
Some sites can have pretty expensive options ( Turbo Squid) , but I found some workable and affordable options at CG Trader. They aren't morphable and some minor kitbashing may be needed. But you should be able to get something in an obj file format that you can import into DS.
SketchUp's 3D Warehouse might have a free version. If you have Blender you can use the free SketchUp importer add on to open the file in Blender and then export an .obj to use in DSThank you for the suggestion! I hadn't checked those sites yet. I usually reserve them for last resort. It sounds like you have found some good candidates, so I will take a look :)

Lukon100 - clever! and nicely done!
Here's a 1970 AMC AMX/3 - sadly the deal to make these fell through.. model is a Sketchup model - tok a lot of work to get it to be really useable.
Very nice, too bad AMC later got absorbed by Chrysler for their Jeep brand. I only wish AMC would not have killed off the Hudson line when in the 1950s Hudson, Willys and Nash merged to create American Motors Corp.
Oh, Misty, I forgot my Complaint ThreadComplaint: People who make tutorials who haven't actually tested the process, technique or prepared before making the video...
Especially frustrating when there is only that video about a feature that is listed buy the maker of the program, but you can find no other useful information about what it is like or how it works... in this case I was looking for information on UV unwrapping in ArmorPaint...
Finally found a video that lists UV unwrapping but most of it is this...
"Ok, so now we take the model... in this case from turbosquid... let's see... where is it... T...ur... Bo... squid... it's squid... right?... okay so now we search for "free table"... that's not it... hold on... maybe... no... I was sure it was... okay... we'll use this sofa... it's basically the same... okay so we (takes you through the process of downloading and unzipping a file)... uh... hmmm... it's missing one of the obj files... okay... let's find something else... (five minutes later)... okay... so now we have your model... and we can unwrap it (does something on the screen without explaining much) so that's how you unwrap... you can do it different, but we'll cover more on that later..."
Tick-Tock-tick-tick the video starts winding to a close, still no "covering that later"... in fact he added three other things he was going to "cover later in the video" but didn't... the video ended without explaining much more than seemingly that ArmorPaint does do some form of autounwrappping, but is there control of map size, what are the features?... nope... click, click click-nothing... ugh... my guess is it seems to be more refined version of how SketchUp's paint bucket tool works in that it applies an image (or image based PBR material with different channels like normal maps, AO, glossiness etc) to the auto unwrapped mesh and maybe you can somehow specify the tiling size?... who knows... I'm just basing that guess on questions without answers and other comments in the comment area.
Twenty minutes of time I'm never getting back... very misleading because the last comments visible are all thanking the video creator making it seem useful.
Ugh.
If they ever remake the movie "Airplane" they need to do a bit where someone is trying to land the damn plane using a YouTube video and this guy is walking them through it... with the "later in video", commercials and losing focus and it ending with "well that's it, remember to like this video and subscribe if you enjoyed it... I'll probably cover deploying the landing gear in another future video... maybe... till then... Bye Folks!!"
Desperate Stewardess Trying To Land Plane: "What!?... THATS IT?!... Check for the other one..."
Desperate Passenger Helping To Land Plane: "Nope... it was three years ago... they never made another one... he did one on fixing a lawnmower two months after..."
Desperate Stewardess Trying To Land Plane: "God, I hope he at least died, who doesn't follow up on something like that!?!"
How'd they do it? (Get me addicted)Wow! I've been buying from DAZ since before they were DAZ ( remember the okld Zygote days?) and I don't think I've come close to $5000 in total. The reasons are mainly:
1. Reusing old content ( still using converted V4 poses! and old Poser props!)
2. Learning to make my own props & kitbash models from free sources ( Sketchup's 3D warehouse)
3. Using DAZ as a reference for 2D artwork. I don't need to buy every shiny new character, shader or environment since I don't render. The base models and morphs work just fine.
4. Making my own basic poses.
In the past 2-3 years my buying has really dropped off a clif thanks to the HEAVY emphasis on fantasy, Sci-fi and skankwear ( your classic NVIATWAS type content) .The lack of male content also ius a big turn off ( I used dudes in my graphic novels too!). Nowadays I might buy the odd pose set if there's more than a couple poses I can use. I find a LOT of sets contain poses that are designed to be on the "alluring" side with over exaggerated positioning . I usually have to spend a while fixing them the be more like how a normal person would move.Show Us Your Bryce Renders Part 12Horo : wonderful render, great materials and awesome sky.

This is my 32 Ford Hot Rod that I built out of many parts. The engine is a 427 Ford SOHC with two fours. The engine is actually complete with all the inside parts like pistons, shafts, rods, etc. There is about 75 parts to it. The body is an old one that was once a big thing here at the Daz site. It was a freebie download and had some of the parts that could be gotten also, but NOT the entire car. I got the dash and the rear end from the same guy as the body. Not sure what ever happened to that guy but he was on a roll with that one. Wheels I made myself in sketchup and converted them to object files to be imported into Daz for assembly. The tires I am not sure where I got them...lol. Anyway, it is a complete car with all the underside parts and running gear. Hope you like it.

All it needs now is a flashy paint job.

...I wish there was a better model than just the one at the Sketch up Warehouse as I'm not all that good at converting their format to something useable in Daz as there are often errors in their models that are a pain to clean up.. It may be simpler just to model it from scratch as what I need is something along these lines for the central headquarters of a state security and intelligence bureau in one of my stories..
https://3dwarehouse.sketchup.com/model/3d11e500812d3ac24db48ed68bd048e5/ATT-Long-Lines-Building
It's missing a number of parts of it that give it it's distinction. You can barely call it THAT building.
*Edit: After Googling the building again I'm seeing it from all sides. The sketchup is plain looking side from one angle.
I was planning on making some scifi tower buildings down the road with all the textures I worked on for about a month. Maybe I can fit something in like that.
...found a better looking one but it's from the Sim City4 game (format .SC4Model). Not sure if it can even be converted.

I did some searching and couldn't find anything that suggested you can convert the contents into another format like OBJ.

Well I don't define cyberpunk for sure, but I've read it is dystopian, whatever than means.
...dystopian, whatever than means.
In some places of the world where there are great numbers of a displaced population like the homeless in the United States and the conditions within which they live it might seem as though or has an appearance of something dystopian.
Right now the Russians after invading Ukraine have been creating vast amounts of destruction that would definitely have the appearance of a dystopian landscape such as the flattening of Mariupol.
There is a type of architecture called Brutalism that is often associated with dystopian and has since become one of the visual aesthetics of the genre. In countries once part of the Soviet Union there are a number of buildings or structures that have a brutalist appearance. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brutalist_architecture
...ah yes, like this one in Manhattan. I actually "transplanted" this structure to a nation that is a dictatorship in one of my stories as the HQ for their Intelligence and secret police bureau.

Haha. You picked that building on purpose didn't you. I had to jog my memory. I remember seeing before when I was doing research on Brutalism.
"One of New York City’s most compelling pieces of Brutalist architecture — the “AT&T Long Lines Building” located at 33 Thomas Street — has been revealed, in an investigative piece by The Intercept, to be one of the National Security Agency’s central spy hubs in the US."
