By postal address.  I was paying by credit card. 

Address matches exactly the one my card is registered to. All other info 100% accurate.

I ended up signing in through Amazon Pay - and using the exact same credit card and details in the Amazon Portal and it worked. So i guess i'll just do that in future.

I can't seem to pay by any method today.  I tried to buy my son a game on GOG and it took four times before it went through.  I have an order here that has a g.c. in it, so I tried Paypal, then Amazon Pay, then a credit card, and none are working.  Have no clue why.

 

Wendy, I know what you mean.  Phoenix was on fire this summer - 53 days over 110, the old record was like 33 or 36 days over 110.  Just don't think Phoenix will be a viable, habitable place in thirty years at this rate.

Too many creepy crawlies in those holes here.  Nasty ones that sting and bite and can do serious harm.  I was stung on my foot right in my kitchen by a bark scorpion last year and my lower leg was numb for a month.   To answer the other question, yes, Phoenix is difficult to get around.  They need more freeways; the ones we have are stacked up from 3pm to 7pm or later every night; the mornings are just as bad.  There is a bus system, but it doesn't cover the entire metro area.  They need to greatly expand the Lightrail, but that's probably not going to happen for a while.  If you're just driving around, though, it's not bad.  It's flat here, so a lot of the streets are like grids.  But with so many hot days in a row now, and the nights not getting below 90 degrees, it is quite challenging to summer here.  I won't be doing it again.

I distracted myself by starting a couple of small fires and tried to teach a trout to sing... But really, I was going to do that anyway and none of that had anything to do with the store problems. 
It's damp and windy, so the fires didn't really spread much and the trout was kinda dead, so next time I'm trying this with a live one.

I'm guessing this is gonna last a few more days, so I'm looking at my list of things to do to see if any of it will really distract me... I'm thinking the part about riding an ostrich sounds worth looking into... there is a wildlife refuge nearby that has an emu, which is not quite an ostrich, but might have to do.

Maybe if I duct tape two emus together... ?

If you are thinking I'm referring to the annual migration back to the south by Kenya's Wildebeest across the grasslands of the Masai Mara... then yeah... sure... that one... 

Either way, especially if one is stressed out by Wildebeest migration, it was a great time to choose a major website upgrade... Just days before the migration... what could go wrong... nobody is stressed already... what are the odds that people even care about the migration... it's not like it's an important event... besides, what's that old saying...?... "Anything that can go wrong, probably won't... because... why not?"

Heavens... I can't believe the coincidences........ yes, I have been very concerned about that migration too..... I love those animals... well, I love all animals..... though I kinda find it hard to snuggle up to a scorpion.

But isn't that Murphy's Law you refer to..... anything that can go wrong will, eventually.

But I am still concerned about how we will manage when the Sun swells up in its old age..... will we be able to migrate to a new planet by then? What will happen to the Brahams symphonies if we don't? 

Anyway, I can't do anything about that... right now. So I am going to build a replica of the old Dynaco A-35 speakers... should be fun..... until the end of the world anyway.

The gang, I notice you guys go through spurts of different themes, most recent was your amazing pirate women and costumes for the gen 8 gals.  AWESOME ladies by the way, and the captain's boudoir is terrific.  Is there any way you could run with Roman army uniforms for the Gen 8 women, say like some earlier era armour the segmenta, or the later era chainmail coat armour.  Another item would be a Scorpion or a roman ballista, even some Greek charios with riding positions and horse positions.  A them you haven't explored are female gladiators so you could do the different armour and weapons like the "Fisherman" gladiator net and trident poses etc.  Just some suggestions to consider or help you along. Out Now: Fantasy Trapped Vault

The treasure of a lifetime lies in the vault, ready for the taking. All our heroes need to do is cross the hall and open the stone doors. But that's easier said than done when the traps could spring at any time to catch unwary thieves...

Fantasy Trapped Vault is a complete interior environment with poisoned-dart traps, spiked pit trap, and door lock blade-traps. And treasure for the vault, of course.

The floor has 3 pressure plates that depress. The darts are grouped and offset to avoid looking unnaturally regular as they shoot out (just grab a group and slide the 'shoot' parameter). Dart also has 2 uv sets for subtle differences when side by side. There are 9 floor tiles as individual props above the spike trap for customizable drops - set also comes with a pose preset to drop the tiles (and another to reset them).

On the vault doors is written a riddle in ancient Cunieform script (but English language since I don't speak ancient Sumerian :p) "The Moon Rises East, The Sun Sets West, The River Flows South, Scorpion Stings" - your characters must solve it to kndw the correct order to open the door locks or else the blades will spike their arm ;)

The vault doors slide open. The treasure comes with gold, silver, and bronze options, and 5 colour options for the gem (or use the surfaces tab to make them any other colour).

The chest has 3 hierarchical pose files for the lid 'on', 'leaning' or on the 'floor'. The torch is included and comes with morphs for the flame and handheld 'wearable presets' for Genesis 8 male and female. The flame morphs are designed to be used in combination.

4 light planes and an optional 'tone mapping' preset completes the lighting. Depending on the camera, deleting some of these lights/torches will make for more dynamic lighting.

The set also comes with 7 cameras to get you started with rendering.

I'm not saying these are good ideas... (the bee pants definitely weren't)... but they are 100% original... Not many people are insane enough to think like that... okay... one guy, but he's not very original.

Hmm... I had heard something about being stung by ants as a tribal rite of passage, but I wasn't aware of the gloves... 

I think I had my Bee Pants thought out all wrong... I was concentrating on the flight aspect... and I was actually trying to glue the hornets together with the wings and abdomens facing outward... which is a lot of work...

But I could avoid a lot of work if I just skip that altogether and keep the stingers pointed inward and sell them as... Manly Stinging Pants!

What is a creature-feature without the classic M4 creature-creator?  How about a Satyr and lass in Dart's woodland terrain with a Daz squirrel and blue bird?  The streaky lines that look like scars must be from one of Dart's distant treetops.  Was going to change the lighting angle but decided I liked it.

A few of Polish's mechs seem somewhat inspired by the Zoids model kit line. Sci-fi Dog Mecha and Sci-Fi Scorpion Mecha have features resembling the Shadow Fox and Deathpion respectively. Haven't bough either yet, but they're both on my Wishlist and I'm looking forward to what comes next. Nice to see a fellow Zoids fan amongst the Daz3d content creators.

I'll start:

A lot more monsters and weird stuff. Teapot headed people, living chess pieces, really weird aliens, more and more monsters. (Monsters sometimes do ok and a few PAs make great ones, but... MORE ;)

Realistic armors and footwear, particularly for women but also just generally. Particularly for Genesis 8; there's a lot of cool armor through the generations but the more rigid the outfit is supposed to be the worse it is at autofitting.

A LOT more animals (modern, dinosaurs, etc). There are some excellent animals/dinosaurs in the store, I'd just like about 50x as many...

 

Went on a Black Friday weekend shopping spree in Dinoraul's store at the rendo to satisfy my dino needs and finally bought the new DAZ House Cat (gonna see if I can transfer Lynes' wild cat morphs to the newer cat; wish me luck). Definitely would love more realistic animals. A ram to go with the DAZ sheep, cape buffalo to face off against my lion pride, a new rabbit and hare, a MOUSE... and a columbian mammoth and/ or whoolly mammoth with proportions closer to DR's mammoth which is no longer available since CP closed.

Polish's Deathpion Sci-Fi Scorpion Mech gives me hope we'll see more Zoids animal mechs for sale. I have CyberD Model-1, R.A.P.T.O.R., Mestophales Mech Dragon, Hailey's Comet and RoboRex for the Digital I Rex (plus more from CP), and the new mecha sets have me craving for more awesome mech animals such as ligers and sabertooths.

Agreed. I'd been trying to find a decent 'Scorpion' for quite a while now, and the 'Snake SMG' in Pack 2 is excellent.

If Polish checks these posts, I hope he'll consider doing Mini and Micro versions of the Uzi (MIZ SMG), sometime
