Face Transfer 2

Has anyone else noticed that Face Transfer 2 adds a couple of pounds to the character. I just noticed it while playing around with it, but I think I can see it in the promo too.

The cheeks seem fuller. I still think it does an amazing job, but correctve morphs would be most welcome.person
I did but I thought it was an illusion because iRay is not close to managing a fully diffuse light through a person's outer surfaces. This version of Face Transfer I can tell I won't be returning when I get around to buying it.

Saving headspliter morphs to a character presetYou would need to rebuild the joint adjustments, which move the centres around which the joints bend to match up with the morphed shape. In principle you should be able to do it by duplicating the erc links from the full morph to the lower body (for the body morph) or head (for the ehad morph) with some tweaking most likely needed on the necka rea; you will also need to relink the CBMs (JCMS as were) that apply corrective morphs to keep the bends nice when the morph is applied (again, you should in principle be able to copy the links from the full morph as needed, rather than having to make a fresh set of adjustment morphs).
Face transfer 2 Error code -3Under Linux, no matter the image, always indicates Error code: -3
Suppose this plugin will not be available for Linux, but with Wine i've installed some Windows dependencies. Is there any compatibility required to install?
Saving headspliter morphs to a character presetOkay, I've got that solved. The morphs are saved and I'm able to apply them parameters morphs tab to the base Gen 9 figure. What I've run into (see examples below) is that applying the morphs works fine when the base figure is in the zero pose. Once I apply a pose, the base figure which is using the head splitter morph becomes severely deformed. The figure on the left is using the character morph from the Morph Loader Pro head splitter application. The figure on the right is using the base Gen 9 with only the shaping slider from the character's library shaping option. Both are set at 80%. The zero pose is fine but any attempt to pose the head splitter morphed figure results in these deformations.
Face Transfer 2I have installed Daz Studio beta 4.22.0.15 and it still works on my computer.
Thank you all for creating such a wonderful product: Face Transfer 2.
Below is the render of the other character created in Face Transfer 2
and Daz Studio beta 4.22.0.15.
Saving headspliter morphs to a character presetA Shaping Preset is the one you want, assuming the morph's type was set to Modifier/Shape.
Face Transfer 2It currently says "The trial version (that ship for free with Daz Studio) allows you to create three saved figure shapes without the watermark, while this product (Face Transfer 2) lets you save as many Genesis 9 figure shapes without watermarks as you like."
Face Transfer 2I just updated the product page to make the differences between face transfer unlimited and face transfer 2, as well as between the free and paid versions more clear. Thank you for the feedback!

I see that Face Transfer 2 is now 'officially released' and have a question.
In the product description it says the following:
The trial version allows you to create three saved figure shapes without the watermark, while the unlimited version lets you save as many figure shapes without watermarks as you like
Will I be paying $35 for a trial version?
No, the trial version is free with DS 4.22.0.15
Thank you. I had already decided against buying FT2 because the store page says that it is only a trial version included for $34.95. That really needs to be amended.

Cant enter serial # for Face Transfer 2.,.The boxes only appear when the key has not been added I believe.
Face Transfer 2 is only newly included so you need to have updated to the latest version or be using the public build to see it.
Face Transfer Shapes update for Face Transfer 2?I've just installed the upgrade for Face Transfer 2 and the results are mostly excellent and a great step forward. However I have noticed some flattening around the lower face and the same receding chin. Does anyone know if PhilW will be updating his Face Transfer Shapes utility or know of an equally easy-to-use alternative? With thanks!
Cant enter serial # for Face Transfer 2.,.I have bought the original face transfer and recall entering in the code but when I go to the about instaled plugings menu, there is no place to enter the code anymore...?!
I also have animate 2 and measuremetrics.. cant enter codes, and the old ones are gone.. Any ideas? I remember a box used to appear on the right there where you would enter them in.
Saving headspliter morphs to a character presetWhat is the procedure for creating a "morph preset" file? A preset is a .duf file you can double-click on to apply it.
When you look at the File -> Save As menu, there are many Save As "Preset" options, but nothing called "Morph Preset".
File -> Save As -> Support Asset -> Morph Asset(s)... creates a data file only. This isn't a preset file that can be double-clicked on. Yes, it's one part of the equation, you need a data file first so the preset can execute it, but where is the other half of the equation, creating the preset file itself?

Creating Clothing for Specific CharactersTailor-making wearables on a unique character will be easier than starting from G9's Base figure as you don't have to make many full body morphs (bs on G9) on them. Some notes as below:
- after making the clothing, when rigging with Transfer Utility, you need to select "Current" from Source - Item Shape and check "Reverse Source Shape from Target"
- there might be some partial distortion on the rigged clothing, you make fix them with the modeling / sculpting software that you use, and Update Base Geomtery of the clothing (Edit - Figure - Geometry - Update Base Geometry)
- then as usual, go for fixing corrective morphs (cbs on G9) with base poses on the character.
- create necessary Morphs on the clothing as per the design and what you need... (Well, if the character's body morph is very stable, you don't have to do this step...)
- add dForce Modifier as well as setting up properties on dynamic surfaces, as you wish...Face Transfer 2Face transfer 2 is a game changer indeed.
