Need help in identifying this character

Hi, the character in the main promo of Elias Hair is a blend of various characters.
Here is the dial values of the character mix: Base Anime Masculine at 5% - Base Masculine at 30 % - CJ Aeon 9 at 20 % - Victoria 9 Masculine 10 % - CJ Mercia at 30 % - Joan 9 at 15 % - Kiri 9 at 3,9 %
The long, slightly bumpy nose was custom made using "Genesis 9 Head Shapes", in the process of testing the rigid weights map for the forehead locks.
Skin textures are from Olympia 9.
Have fun creating!
Thank you!
Question about character in ALO Elias for Genesis 9, 8 and 8.1 MaleSomeone asked the same question yesterday and the PAs answered with the recipe:

A broken material makes arms and legs whiteWell, yeah, this is the problem - limbs render white when with a certain material. It happens even when I use the material without any extras, on an 'empty' G8F character. The viewport shows the entire body fine though, and what's more - this material used to work alright until an unclear point of time. I did a complete reinstallation of the product as well, to no avail. What can be the problem and how to fix it? There seem to be no 'geoshells' in the scene; other products by this creator work fine.

May I ask which figure you're using? Is it Genesis 9?
That is a blast from the past, so I use one of the characters of Victoria 4 all rendered in FilaToon.
Awesome!
How to make renders in blender look as good as IRAY using diffeo?I don't see any issue with this figure, tried both "iray" and "sss" skin in global settings they render fine here. Is this the only figure which doesn't work for you or there are others, for example does Victoria 9 works fine for you ?
Test scene included for you to check.
What model is this?Agree, it does look like Victoria 9's skin.
For the hair, maybe this one ?

I'm sure I have seen the skin texture
I am very confident that it's Victoria 9's skin. Despite the comparatively small size of the reference image, enough patterns of freckles can be matched to Victoria's skin.
What model is this? It's not a default character. It's Victoria 9's skin, but not her morph, so it's a mix and thus probably unidentifiable. How to make renders in blender look as good as IRAY using diffeo?Padone said:
You seem to miss the makeup overlay, it works fine here with Victoria 9. Be sure your render engine is set to cycles, also check the blender console for any error. If the issue is not fixed let me know what figure she is so I may be able to give a look. As for the hair they need to be converted as a separate step.

The figure is DT Alina for genesis 9. Render engine was already set to cycles and no errors popped up.
Victoria 4 Muscle Maps / Victoria 4 for Genesis 2 IssueThe "Victoria 4 for Genesis 2" product gets you the UV map you need, but the V4 materials preset will not apply directly. There are products to convert V4 to G2F. I suggest one or both of the following products:
V4 Skins Auto Converter for Genesis 2 Female(s)
V4 Skins Batch Converter to Genesis 2 Female(s)
If you only need to do it once, you can manually copy the materials to each surface on G2. Load V4 and apply the muscle maps (assuming you have V4). Load a G2F. Go to the surfaces on G2F and expand the Legacy Surfaces group. You will see the same surfaces as for V4.
Select V4, go to the surfaces tab and select a surface. There are groups of surfaces with prefixes 1_, 2_, 3_, etc. Each group uses the same maps and usually the same settings. Right-click on, say, 1_SkinFace and select Copy Selected Surface(s). Go to G2 surfaces, and select all group one Legacy Surfaces (1_Lip, 1_Nostril, 1_SkinFace). Right-click in the surfaces area and select Paste to Selected Surface(s). The proper maps should show up on G2. You only need to copy one from each V4 group (7), not for each surface (~30).
Repeat for each surface group (from one of the V4 groups to all corresponding group surfaces on G2, like from 2_SkinHead on V4 to all 2_* surfaces on G2). When all maps have been copied over, set the UV map for all surfaces to Victoria 4. You can now optionally save a materials preset for G2 so that you won't have to repeat the process every time.
Victoria 4 Muscle Maps / Victoria 4 for Genesis 2 Issue
Hello! I recently bought 'Victoria 4 Muscle Maps' and 'Victoria 4 for Genesis 2' in hopes of using the muscle maps on a genesis 2 model. The DAZ install manager directs me to the lost and found for both of those assets, so I double click on the 'Set Victoria 4 UV' which only turns the Genesis 2 model a darker gray, and when I try using any of the muscle map assets, absolutely nothing happens. Is there something I am doing wrong?I should clarify that I am very new to DAZ 3D stuff, so forgive me if this is a rookie mistake or something but I am very confused haha.

Premier Members! Enjoy 3x the free character bundle options for the next 5 days. Use your Monthly Character Bundle coupon and choose from 30 different character bundles. Don't miss out!

Yeah, Daz. You would do this offer, AFTER I've used my coupon

January just keeps getting better and better *sarcasm*
I'm guessing the monthly coupon doesn't get renewed if you unsubscribe to Premier, then re-subscribe a few days later?
I used mine on Sylvia 2 minutes before the better selection
I like Sylvia well enough, but I was hoping for Koa again at some point, and sure enough, he reappeared on the selection! It was about to tick to a Thursday, though, and while DO characters have generally been coming out recently every two weeks on Thursday, and we got the demon only last week, I wasn't going to take a chance on a female demon being released and Sylvia dropping off rotation. When Koa released, I had already spent my coupon on Kai, and by the time it renewed, Koa was off rotation. I don't feel releasing characters of a similar vein close together has worked so far for this promotion. Your choices are either characters you don't want - as in the case of the filatoon Victoria and Michael for me - or too much of what you do want but don't have the vouchers for.
Can't change hair color of Soft Curls Ponytail for Genesis 9Jalnor said:
I'm seeing a lot of errors that seem to be about not being able to find the figure it's applied to - this might indicate that you've loaded the hair floating in space, or something else might be wrong. From the moment where you try to load the green texture, it seems to be quite happy with what it's done. What happens if you manually adjust the texture in the Surfaces tab? You should be able to load in a different texture image from there - it doesn't solve the root problem, but it is a workaround unless something is reeeeally wrong.
Thanks for your help. I was able to change the color by changing the Base Color texture in the Surfaces tab. This is not ideal, because I think there are multiple textures to change with each color, but at least the color changes in the viewport now. And even if I start with a new Victoria 9 character in a new scene and apply Soft Curls Ponytail, I have the same issue with changing the color using the normal way.
Can't change hair color of Soft Curls Ponytail for Genesis 9It's been about a year since I used Daz, but I recently updated everything with the Install Manager and opened one of my old files that includes Soft Curls Ponytail for Genesis 9 and I seem to not be able to change the hair color. I've never had this issue in the past and when I load up a different hair, I can change the color with no problem (using the method I've used before: select the hair in the outline, double click a new color from the materials tab). I also started a new file with Soft Curls Ponytail and I still can't change the color. Does anyone else have this problem after updating? Thanks for any assistance!

Looking for an outfit (yes I know, another one)According to the Renderosity page for this product (it's one of the products that was transfered here), @PAMAWO used Victoria 4 and Michael 4 but no mention about the clothes used and I don't recognize them.

I tried it but it did not work.
Likewise, it does not convert and DazStudio shuts down.I tried “dForce Kimono Outfit for Genesis 8 Female(s)” and it didn't work at all, but “Kawaii Kimono Outfit for Genesis 8 Female(s)” did convert, although it shut down.
I have DazStudio installed on my C drive.
And I have “My DAZ 3D Library” on the D drive.I work on multiple computers.
I can be creating a scene on one PC while simultaneously working on rendering on another PC.
Therefore, I need to unify the DazStudio environment on multiple PCs.I keep all the necessary materials for a scene in one folder, so that I can open that folder and work on the same scene on any PC.
Then, by synchronizing the folder with Cloud, the PCs are synchronized with each other. Therefore, I tend to put newly converted materials in a project folder and sync it with other PCs rather than in “My DAZ 3D Library” or “My Library”.
I am struggling to figure out why it keeps crashing for you. What are the directories listed, and their exact order, in the Daz Studio Formats section of the Content Directory Manager?
C:\Users\%USERPROFILE%\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library
D:\My DAZ 3D LibraryI am trying these two, switching them up and down.
The C drive has no products installed.
Since the total volume of the product exceeds 3.5TB, it cannot be placed in the boot drive, and is installed in the D drive dedicated to My DAZ 3D Library. Those should be fine (and that order, My Lib on top, is DEFINITELY what you want). Obvious questions: is Genesis 9 Essentials installed? Enough space on C drive? Any difference using the Genesis 9 Dev Load character vs Genesis 9?
It seems like the crash always happens AFTER the script returns from converting (or not) an item. If you try and convert 2 items (select two checked items and click force convert), does it go onto the second item and convert it before crashing? Or does it crash before getting to the second item?
Vo Yonina HD for Genesis 9
MB Anezka HD for Genesis 9 Feminine
RY Alison for Victoria 8
After uninstalling these three, DazStudio no longer crashes. It seems that multiple corrective of the same name is being used, which may be affecting the crashes.
Awesome! I am so glad you figured it out.
The “dForce Kimono for Genesis 8 Female(s)” (Kimono Base.duf) in the same product folder can be converted.
However, “dForce Kimono Outfit for Genesis 8 Female(s)” (KO G8F Kimono.duf) still cannot be converted.I need a traditional G9 kimono that follows proper Japanese etiquette.
Therefore, I cannot use products with wide open collars, short lengths, excessively long sleeves, and sexy arrangements that open the front of the hem with dForce when walked on video.
I want a kimono for G9 that is close to the official design and dimensional proportions, and the kimono that seems closest at the moment is the “dForce Kimono Outfit for Genesis 8 Female(s)”, which I would like to convert, hoping that the dForce behavior in the video will work.I am definitely able to convert KO G8F Kimono.duf. However, I have to select it and use the "Force Convert Item(s)" button.
