Help face tranfer 2HI,
I can't find face transfer 2. The first is activated (I bought it some time ago), but 2 isn't there in the plugins. How do I activate it? I purchased it but it is not present in the plugins.
There is nothing in the daz manager install. I have already downloaded everything I could download and install.Trouble transferring Materials with RSSY Clothing converter G8 to G9That's right as vwrangler says. RSSY Clothing Converters (no matter which version) never transfer matetrial presets because the UV(s) of converted clothing has no change. You can just apply the original material preset from G8's product to the converted ones.
Morph Export in UE5 by Daz To Unreal PluginThere isn't a way currently to transfer a morph as "baked in" to the character and also as a dynamic morph. You can set the morph to the same value in the character blueprint to apply it though.
Trouble transferring Materials with RSSY Clothing converter G8 to G9According to the product information on its page, it edits the metadata so that you can use the materials from Smart Content for both the G8 and G9 versions of your clothing. It doesn't copy the materials files themselves, and unfortunately, the product information page doesn't say that. The manual is also a bit unclear; it says that it removes materials files from certain types of conversion without explicitly saying that it will not copy materials files.
Anyway, to be clear, the script doesn't transfer materials files at all. It only alters the metadata in Smart Content so they can be used with the new version of the clothing. If you don't use Smart Content, you'll need to copy the materials files to your new directory yourself.
More information is available in the vendor's support thread: https://www.daz3d.com/forums/discussion/614111/released-rssy-clothing-converter-from-genesis-8-to-genesis-9-commercial/p1

The scrupt transfers the outfit but not Materials or Dforce settings for that matter. So I go back to select material files so i can transfer or convert them to the new directory for G9 and it gives error message "No Clothing Files Added" and instructs me to check some option boxes whitch I do, but it does not convert material files for the dress, it just transfers it without any features as intended.
I should mention that the name of the dress is dForce Sincerity Dress for Genesis 8 Female and after I looked it up I can see that the textures for it I purchased as a separate product which might explain why mats did not transfer - they were sold as a separate product. And than before completing my reply here I tried to convert another outfit that included mats with the product Imka Dress. And that outfit the scrupt does non seem to convert or save to a new folder at all. I tried it as save files, I tried it as save directory. It runs the scrupt but nothing happens.

Face Transfer 2Fantastic! I never actually saw this in progress until today, when PaulaWP did a wonderful presentation on it, showing off some of these amazing creations! Bravo to the lot of you doing this stuff. Really, Really freaking Awesome!!!
There was a wonderful Daz Studio 4.22 Community Workshop webinar (free) at Digital art Live today. I got to show some new animation work, Paula showed us how great Face Transfer 2 is, Slater was Slater - always fun, amazing and full of wisdom, and we got to see a bunch of community Daz Studio art along with a fun discussion around the new features of 4.22
I love these things! We get to get together and hang out and talk Daz Studio! So Cool!!!

Um, you can't redistribute a cap made from the figure's geometry. Any 3D modeler can produce a sphere. Fit it around the head area, deleting any unneeded mesh. Add enough subdivision so it can morph nicely with whichever character is dialed into the figure. In D/S rig it and save as a figure/prop file.
Hair can be built off of the skullcap.
So, the sphere would have some sort of colliders that prevent the strands from folding into the mesh of the scalp? Is that the correct understanding?

I'm confused... Why do I need DS beta? Will Transfer 2 be included in the DS program? Oh! Like FT1, the trial is part of the DS system but you have to install the new build for version 2. Got you. Thanks! Have you/anyone tried both? How does quality and ease of use compare? Not sure if I want to install the beta version since it seems like you can't have both installed in case it's flakier.
Currently Face Transfer 2 is onyl available in the Public Build (the beta0 - the next update to the General Release should also contain it.

You may try to zero the morph (you applied on the figure) in the hidden properties of the hair, or fix the morph on the hair by re-rigging the tail ( will be a bit cumbersome...). Or just directly parent the hair to the figure's head instead of fitting it to the figure.
u mean did the hair like a prop?
Yes, like a smart prop, because some conformed hair will bring you the above-mentioned issue, then you have to fix the full head morph and the rigging on the hair. So direct parenting is frequently used in such a case to avoid cumbersome fixing.
PS: If you make this hair as a product, you better fix some morphs at least for the popular characters from Daz Originals...

Darwins' Schtuff Pt DeuxSo, unfortunately the honeycomb tattoo idea did not make it into JeanPierre's set, but that has been added to one of my future projects.
For now, I'm slapping down a set of test renders of the next project, who says we don't need more leading males for our renders? Not I.

The skin is one of the G9 base male skins to see how the sculpt looks in HDRI lighting. I like his look, so it'll be on to the morph or joint corrections before the next dude. XD

I have head shop Pro 23 bud I'm interested in the new AI driven face transfer program. I'd like to be able to compare the output with the trial version before purchasing a lender program but I can't find a trial version of either ft one or two. Is the description of a trial version out of date?
You need to download and install the latest version of DS Public Build... Place an order in here (if you've not done it before) - https://www.daz3d.com/daz-studio-beta Then download and install it with DIM.

Mariya. Character created with a combination of Face Transfer, Face Transfer Shapes for G8 and Growing Up for G8F from a pencil drawing by Andrij Bilchenko. While the quality of the drawing (or painting) is important like any good image it is well worth the effort!

Nice transfer. I'm curious about how that pencil drawing looks like. Is it possible you post a screenshot in here?
