More info please! This looks useful if I think it is what it is!
Ghastly's Ghastly Freebees. (Ghastly's Gizmo-trons)Yeah some of the items need a bit of work to get to fit right. And I always have to adjust the weight maps a bit arount the crotch whenever I fit a clothing item to Lolo. I'll have to make some projection templates for the figure some day if I can find a decent tutorial on the subject so that it will be easier to use the transfer utility to fit things to the figure. I'm converting the Genesis 1 PVC Maid Outfit I made a long time ago (when I was Beta Testing Marvelous Designer) to see how well it works and so far no major problems converting the outfit.
It'll do until I learn how to make outfit clones.
I haven't done one in a while...but what you've got is most of the way there. You'll need to go through this thread for all the details...
problems with 4.9 problems with genesis 1, 2 and 3 morphsYou might need to clear your morph cache.
Go into Edit/Preferences in the General tab. There is a textbox at the bottom under "DSON cache files". Click the "Clear" button.

Ghastly's Ghastly Freebees. (Ghastly's Gizmo-trons)http://www.sharecg.com/v/84840/view/21/DAZ-Studio/Lolo-Hai-Utility-Morph-Genesis-1
Okee dokee, I've created a utility morph for the Genesis 1 figure. What it does it morphs the Geneis figure into a rough approximation of what the Lolo Hai chibi figure so you can convert clothing and hair from Genesis to Lolo Hai.
The hands and feet aren't an exact match so footware may be tricky and gloves will need a lot of post work, but for dresses and other clothing it does a pretty good job of making a mesh.
Basically dress your Genesis figure up in the clothes you want converted for Lolo and then morph Genesis. Hide Genesis and export the clothes (base resolution). Import the clothes and then use the transfer utility to fit them to Lolo and adjust the weight maps as needed for a perfect fit (smoothing modifier may be needed too).
And man was it ever a chore to create this morph.
I thought it would be a simple matter of exporting Genesis, loading it into the retopo room of 3D Coat where I had sculpted Lolo and then using the snap feature to shrinkwrap the body parts of Genesis to the corresponding body parts of Lolo. Unfortunately while this worked to shape the figure, the retopo room completely breaks the geometry of the figure so the exported retopo mesh will not load as a morph.
But I found a really weird work around.
Export the genesis figure. Import the genesis figure to retopo room then export it again (I named it RR-Genesis).
Make modifications to the mesh as needed then export the retopo mesh.
In Daz Studio load Genesis figure, import the RR-Genesis figure. Use transfer utility from Genesis to RR-Genesis. Now I have a rigged Retopo Room compatible Genesis. Load the retopo room modified morph to the RR-Genesis. Now the RR-Genesis figure will have the morph because the vertex order is the same.
Now Import that pristine Genesis mesh and use the transfer utility to fit it to the RR-Genesis. When I apply the retopo room morph RR Genesis it gets applied to the Genesis figure. Apply morph, hide RR-Genesis and export the morphed Genesis figure. Load Genesis into the scene, and use morph loader to load the exported morph Genesis figure and now I have the retopo room created morph on the Genesis figure.
Snapping small fiddly bits in the retopo room doesn't work that well so I wasn't able to make the hands and feet match the Lolo figure so you might have problems with footware and gloves will be right out.
The head of course has some restrictions. I didn't snap the face and ears for obvious reasons but it should work well for most hair and hats.
Enjoy as you please.

A young boy preteen. I have G2 and I will buy any of the morph packs (I hardly use G2 male and I'm not ready to upgrade to G3) required to get the look. If anyone is interested in helping I have pictures, just PM me.What look are you trying to acheive??
what morph packs do you already have installed??
problems with 4.9 problems with genesis 1, 2 and 3 morphsI don't know if I am the only one but I had computer trouble which was not that big of a deal and I had to reinstall my OS, and then the problem began. I had to reinstall Daz studios this of course erased all of my directories, that was fine I started reinstalling my content as well, and things were going fine for a while. Then I got to my genesis 2 figures started putting them back in and tried loading one the genesis 2 base loads fine I don't get those F#*@ up blocks like if the starter essentials arent installed, but I tried and loading a morph and nothing this also affected the gen 1 and 3's as well the base will load and none of the morphs. If i try and load victoria 5, this is just as an example, I get the base and the texture but no morphs. does any one have any ideas why I would work for a while and then the morphs stop loading all across the board.?
What Motivates Your Purchases?I buy mostly sci-fi, male content, and men's poses. I have enough female content, clothing, poses to last a lifetime.
I will always buy skins that are alien, and morph packs, and good environements.
I will always buy poses where characters are doing something other than looking sexy, which I have a ton of already.
For some reason, prices have gotten higher here at DAZ so I have to be less impulsive.I will wait til those items are discounted more before buying them.
I am really waiting for DZfire's cyber dogs which I intend to pick up immeadiatly.
G3M Muscle MorphsIs it just me, or are the G3M Muscle Morphs a step down from the Genesis 2 ones? I only bought them because I got a deal... and every time i try to use them I am reminded why I wasn't going to buy them in the first place. The full body flexion morph certainly doesn't work the way the Genesis 2 one did...just set it and go.
Adjusting genesis 3 female rigging in DS4.9 for super thin characters.Daz figure in a WebGL application?Thank you Richard, as usual you have clarified everything. It is the customer that needs the license, not I as I do not distribute anything.
However I have worked out a way together with the customer that may work.
1) I make a Morph of G2F in zBrush and do not use any of the morphs that come with her.
2) After I have a finished the figure in Daz Studio I make a seperate lo-res WebGL compatible that do not use anything from Daz. The form is the same though.
3) Now I can make all poses and animations in Daz Studio, and export it with bvh to my own avatar,
Voila!
A 4 legged morphable animal/creatureWhat I've thought is that you could potentially do it as a Genesis figure with some morphs and one or two new UV templates to take into account the different leg/torso proportions.

Adjusting genesis 3 female rigging in DS4.9 for super thin characters. What you essentially need to do is make a new JCM that is triggered only when your morph is applied that corrects the existing JCM. Export the posed and morphed mesh, or GoZ it, make the corrections, and bring it back as a moprh using Reverse Deformations to strip out the morph, pose, and existing JCMs. Now you do need to add the JCM correction to the list of things controled by your morph, attenuate it by the JCM (so it kicks in only if both are set) - rather than using ERC Freeze use the Property Hierarchy pane to show your new JCM correction morph, drag your shape into its lisy of controllers under Stage 1 additive and drag the main JCM (you will need to Show Hidden Paarmeters) into the Stage 2 Multiply controllers; since both controllers are morphs going from 0 to 1 you should not need to adjust the scalars.
"DAZ Studio Pro 4.9" vs "DAZ Studio Public Build + Beta+"I just did a files comparison between the two and it's as I guessed above ... and there are only a few DLLs in the old one that aren't in the new, so I think I'll delete that folder. The only thing concerning me is a whole bunch of .dmc files of characters and figures ... should I transfer those, do you think?
Strange ripples in figure mesh following export from Zbrush using GoZI'm not sure what is causing the ripples, though the lighting is different in the two imaegs of course. The ZBrush scale is 1 unit = 1m, I use the modo preset to import a mesh or morph exported from ZBrush as OBJ.
Adjusting genesis 3 female rigging in DS4.9 for super thin characters. In the base g3f if you bend the arm down so the palm of the hand is at the thigh the JCMs which affect the shoulder will adjust the bending of the mesh to give a realistic arm bend. The same for the legs and the hips.
If I change the shape of the mesh with morphs the existing JCMs may no longer be in the correct position to do a good job. So by adjusting the JCMs I'm refering to changing the JCM values (here I assume properties such as x,y,z location, scale, shape?) so that the figure mesh will once again bend normally when the new shape changing morph is applied.
I hope that makes it clearer.
I should point out that I will be pushing and pulling things randomly as I don't know exactly how all the parameters work together. I recall that when i did this in Poser the Spheres of Influence were made visible. I don't know if that's true in DS.
M4 for G3...http://www.daz3d.com/wear-them-all-autofitting-clones-and-clothing-smoothers-for-genesis-3-male-s This has an M4 Clone included. Cayman Studios UVs M4 product will allow you to use your M4 textures on G3. No product to transfer M4 morphs to G3 yet, that I'm aware of.
G3M's lower poly count in the face may also make it more difficult to achieve specific shapes.
NoPokethrough plugin alpha version available for testingI changed the end date to the end of July.
I've also added a new functionality. It's now possible to add a morph to a Gen4 cloth, even if there is no channel available.
It works only for Gen3-Gen4, will crash for Genesis (but there is no channel issue for Genesis).

Strange ripples in figure mesh following export from Zbrush using GoZI am trying to create a non-mammalian alien character using g3f. I want the face to retain the softness of a female, but the character has no mammary glands (non-mammalian), so I created a smooth chest morph in Zbrush. (Note the g3f figure was sent to Zbrush using GoZ and I'm using DS4.9.1.30)
When I sent the morphed figure back to DS using GoZ I saw that there were ripples in the mesh at the junction between the lower chest and pectoral zones. (click on image for a better view)Whatever I do in Zbrush e.g. smoothing the mesh, expanding the mesh, the result is the same; the ripples which are NOT present in the mesh in Zbrush do appear in the mesh in DS. I have also tried switching off all other morphs affecting the torso in DS but that has no effect on the ripples.
Therefore I tried a different approach; I exported the morphed figure from Zbrush as an obj file (with scale set to 1 in the options).
When I applied the morphed figure obj as a morph, using Morph Loader Pro, to a new base g3f figure (using an import scale of 10000%), I found that the ripples in the chest area were gone. Unfortunately, I found that none of the movement morphs on the figure (arm bend etc) worked properly any more. They gave strange distortions. I assume that this effect is due to the scale of the morph not exactly matching the scale of the base g3f figure.
So, two questions:
1) Is it possible to avoid the strange ripples in the chest caused when using GoZ to import the smooth chest morph to DS? If so, how?
2) Failing an answer to the first question; what is the precise scale factor I should use when loading a morph into DS4.9 using Morph Loader Pro for an obj file which was exported from Zbrush?
