  • back from zbrush as one mesh

So how I am suposed to get it back with polmesh? The best video I have found dont speak about going back to daz but he has polimesh in zBrush.

I'm trying to do my own character in daz so I need a full body morph I guess.

  • Young Teeth morphs

Teeth morphs are a real pain in the posterior...you need to make so many of them.  And load/save out each one individually.  Something as simple as a shrink morph needs to be done 32 times.  If you don't do them individually you start getting odd additive effects when mixing several of them at once.  Then after they are all done you can link groups of them.

One of my favourite Genesis products! And thank you so much for continuing with the ability to morph in/out a high heel, as we choose! That's a feature something I would have thought would be standard for boots, by now.

Yeah, that's the3dwizard's credit.... he reimagined the boots and even added additional material zones to the boots. This is why I've had to rework my previous sets, as the base products have been all improved and reworked.

@Xenomorphine  "And thank you so much for continuing with the ability to morph in/out a high heel"

That's the doing of the3dwizard . Long thread a while back about this product. The PA went ot some lengths asking for, and responding to, feedback on for the Genesis 3 product.

You probably saved a morph asset with Freak 5 dialed in - in the Parameters pane go to the Currently used group, what is listed?

  • Eyebrows!

...one issue I had using the Brow Remover and then Real Brows for G3F was after saving the file and opening it in Daz later I got one of those "cannot find" errors (like what happens when a path to a texture or morph is messed up) that opened up a totally unrelated folder when I clicked on  the "search" button.  I cancelled which required re-applying the original face map.  The  Real Brows I created were still parented to the character but obscured by the painted on brow from the original face map so it made me wonder what I may have done wrong when removing the original brows (I followed all the steps in both tutorials).

Hello, I am not sure what is the problem at present... Does this problem also occur when you use Brow Remover or Real Brows alone?

  • ISO thinning hair and non-salon hair for guys

I haven't done a render of it yet, but you can morph most of AprilYSH's hairs (Hairline Height, Forehead Adjust, Head Size, Crown Adjust, etc.) to achieve what looks to be convincing hairline recession and mild to significant thinning. Don't forget to apply smoothing modifier to the hair, and you could even go into Surfaces>Geometry>Cutoff and change the opacity of the scalp.

  • Eva 7 or Olympia 7

Over all I'd go Olympia, after that Arabella. All the bundles and characters have their advantages but personally but Olympia comes out ahead in morre categories for me.

Bigges advantages of the Olympia bundle: Best clothing option of the starter bundles IMO in the trendsetter outfit, particularly the shirt wich is super nice looking and very kitbashable. Best texures and materials without fiddling; don't get me wrong all the textures are pretty nice (although arabella's eyebrows don't thrill me), but I think Olympia's look the best without tweaking materials. Also Olympia definitely has the best eye textures. While Olympia doesn't have my favorite head or body morph, She probably has my second favorite of each.

Advantages for Arabella. Has my favorite of the body morph (one thats surprisingly easy to turn into into more realworld, less idealized proportions) Has my favorite hair of the starter bundles. Other than the eyebrows, I really love the texture.

  • Its time for new Cat and Dog models!

I've seen some pretty bizarre results from the included morphs and scaling done with the old MilCat. Don't know how well they took poses, and I suspect totally unsuited for animation, but they looked pretty alien, all right.

Chris Creek showed us some fairly hilarious morphs that he was playing around with on the House Cat. Don't know how many of them made their way into the final package (bought it, but haven't had a chance to play yet). And it is my impression that the Hivewire figures (at least the human figures, but possibly the animals, too) take scaling rather better than average. That alone can make for some interesting morphs.

I remember trying to create a ferret with the Milcat once, in the end I don't know what it became but he was hideous. Lol!  I remember there being a morph set for the milcat that was on sale in the store years ago that you could turn the cat into an alien, undead, and stuff like that but by my time it was already no longer available for purchase.  Which was sad because I picked up the sister set for the Mildog and I've done so much with those morphs and textures, by mixing the morphs and using deformers I came up with some cool creatures.

  • Big Bad Boris and Beyond Attn: Smay

Boris has no texture whatsoever. He's purely a morph on G2M.

Genesis 3 Male textures cannot currently be used on Genesis 2 Male. Cayman Studios has recently produced a product for using Genesis 3 Female textures on Genesis 2 Female, but no such product yet exists for the male.

I don't know that I would recommend using such a product on Boris in any event. Cayman Studios' geograft products tend to show visible lines for HD morph characters. If they're fully dressed, that probably doesn't matter; for a swimsuit render, however, it could be problematic.

You can use ANY Genesis 2 Male-compatible texture on Boris, no matter what the UV. Specific UV products like Michael 6 or Scott 6 or Gianni 6, or G2M base UV products like FW Sebastian or FW Oliver, etc.

  • Lilith 7

I'm still on the fence about Lilith 7. Love her body and skin, but she does look to be suffering from a case of RBF (resting female dog face) and her elongated eyes break the realism for me. Perhaps with the HD morph they would look better. I may make up my own mini bundle with the base and a couple of outfits. At least with the 50% sale that's a viable option.

The lack of the base morph tends to show up more in the body than the face, but it will be interesting to compare them.

As someone that rarely buys any DAZ addon characaters I have to admit I like the details in this one. The morph is a little too plump for my tastes, but that's an easy fix. I like the promo with the mix of other figures in it, gives me a much better idea what to expect since that would be my use for her also. I may have to end up getting this one.

Oh my god she is gorgeous!

Daz truly did not disappoint : )

Lilith 6 was my favorite G2F model and when I saw Lilith 7 I was like "here she is, here's my girl" : )

Great morph, beautiful skin, there is just ONE tiny detail..........why do her no make-up lips have these tiny little bumps?

On the lipsticks it looks like some sort of fairy dust effect but on natural lips it just looks like a weird rash :( :D

Will probably get her during the catch up sale : )

I also do not mind the theme change. She went from sexy demonic sucubuss to a dark pagan seductress and that's okay with me!

  • Lilith 7

Reposted from the discussion over in the PC+ members thread:

I am inordinately grateful to get a set of promos that isn't all but useless due to the overloaded makeup. This one shows at least one clean face. Thank you!

I like the morph (I just about always like the morph). Very strong facial features, without being harsh. And the Shiloh character has to be one of the least "generic" add-on characters I've seen in a bundle in dunnowhen. And it's about time we started getting a few promos of the results of mixing the character bases. I'm not overwhelmed by the either of the hairs, but they are both nice, and look highly usable.

The clothing is an unexpectedly mixed bag. Admittedly, I never found any use at all from Lilith 6's bundle outfits, and I can see getting potential use out of most of these. I guess it would be Lilith who gets lumbered with something gratuitously bizarre like the caged belle getup (although even that seems to have usable pieces). But otherwise; a really nice formal gown with an interesting transmap, and one of Mada's lovely fantasy outfits. I admit that I don't get the association of "Lilith" with contemporary streetwear, but that set has a lot of various pieces which will probably all get used. Like Sunny's bundle, everything here seems to be mostly functional.

  • Lilith 7

I'm not going to lie, as much as I love my Lilith lore, this one has quite a few interesting promos, but what concerns me is that most of them heavily involve kit-bashing. Like, I saw her base promo and thought "Holy hell! That outfit looks amazing!" only to not be able to spot anything with those drapes in the Pro Bundle. Meanwhile, I love her skin and face in the Fallen Goddess Poses and Maxi Dress renders, only to once again, find them absent in the bundles. So, my only sliver hope for the character is that it's a something that may get released either later this week or next if it's just not another morph mixture.

While I think kit-bashing in promos can serve a purpose,  there comes a point when there can be too much of it, particularly when you're selling a bundle and a certain percentage of the promos incorporate items not in that bundle.  For instance the most prominent and befitting hair piece in the promos for Lilith  7 is not a hair style in the bundles at all.  One almost gets the idea that no one was really sure what image they were going for with the character so they just went with a shotgun approach.
