Hair Extensions and Pony Tail add ons
Check existing products to see if you can simply hide the base part of the hair, then you might be able to use just the ponytail portion in combination with a second hair product.
I've actually done that. And then because the hair you attach is not placed like it normally would be (since the point of this is placing a tail where you want it to be,) you are at the mercy of the morph options it has that were probably not designed for the position you place it in. It would be ten times easier to have one product that has a variety of just tails and morphs to choose from. Plus bows. It would be like the Ultimate Hair Add On Pack, or something.
I guess I'm the only person who thinks this way.
Shadows around the IrisThen you need to tweak it...it's rather finicky. Especially if you've enlarged the eyes. You may need to actually go to negative values on it.
On a Genesis morph I was working on, one with enlarged eyes, I used a small negative value to get rid of the 'shadow' I can't remember if it is a percent or decimal for the morph, but it would be the equivalent of about -1%.
Shadows around the IrisI actually DO have a correction morph applied... :( There's only one to apply, too.
It's Raining Men Again Competition -- Winners Revealed!!!!Sorry, I have a question... Could the contest hosts please clarify the "no female morphs" rule for the case of the originlal Genesis? // because if I do enter, I will most likely use this figure //
For instance, I have a number of MR morph kits, like those by Thorneworks here in the store. Does this rule mean I can dial in morphs from this one:
http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-body-morph-resource-kit-2
- but not this one? http://www.daz3d.com/genesis-head-morph-resource-kit-1
What JEANS are used in these RAW POSES product ads?Looks like Southern Nights for Genesis 3 by Rhiannon over at Rendo autofitted
I think you're right. The wrinkles around the ankles are a lot higher on the Southern Nights, but maybe there's a morph that lenthens the pant leg to cover the boots, but leaves the wrinkles where they were. Thanks!
SC Rain for Genesis 3 FemaleDo you use Connect? Maybe something has been corrupted if so; and if you don't, something still could have got messed up.
Revert to an earlier version of Beta; I did that yesterday as thought might have been an issue. And maybe there was, but will test when time.
Just remember, it's a beta release - there will be issues.
dim first then connect have few things connect only and not everything fully installs via dim also few times I used up my monthly internet reduced to dialup speed and stuff would not download install via dim but could via connect. I let dim and connect install to default locations. This is a new computer I bought with the 1080 cards so wanna make use of them why I'm happy the beta lets me use them and the other copy of daz on my computer is the current full version which can't use the new cards in a way it's a pity that warped effect isn't an actual morph be pretty cool if it was would be good with the Rain horror character skin and if she also had an unhinged jaw morph so you could have one of those really big mouths you see in a lot of ghost movies now
Only time I've seen similar was when I'd forgotten to do 'something' when I was applying a morph; it is was to do with ECC. Sadly I don't remember what, but perhaps it will point you in the right direction.
Although it it's working in other versions but not this, it might not be product related.
It is easy to look at an issue and think it is the problem when in fact its a symptom of something else. Just because its causing a problem doesn't make it the problem - sadly at times when trying to track bugs and errors down.
SC Rain for Genesis 3 Femaletried to make use of it so with Alice I gave her Rain's horror character texture and the scared one that is Rain's body head morph with Alice's texture
That's turning lemons into lemonade!
Do you have GenX? I wonder if you transferred her morph to G2, and back again, if it would still have those strange issues.
Also, did you say the morphs did strange things in your full release version, too? Is that using saves created in the beta first, or were those from "clean" scenes created in the full version first? What I mean is, if you use the full release version, and add a new character into a scene, does it still have those issues? If it works right, save that scene in the full version. Then try loading that scene in the beta for rendering. Maybe that could be a work around. Build scenes in the full version, render them in the beta so you can use your Pascal card.
Black Is Beautiful III wanted to use the new X-Fasion Turban. :) EJ Etta with a few morph changes.
Very nice!

Issue with Santa Beard for Genesis 3 Male(s)I have a tutorial on how to make old facial hair follow expressions on G3F/G3M http://oddpla.net/tacky/2016/07/06/rigging-old-facial-hair-in-ds-4-8-for-g3fg3m/ , but you can use the same principles to make G3F/G3M facial hair follow expressions for G3F/G3M. You follow basically the same steps with the Transfer Utility with a few exceptions:
For the Source Scene Item Shape, do NOT use a clone shape; just use Default.
When you are selecting Projection Template Options, you do NOT need to select Reverse Source Shape from Target.
Note that, if you install any custom expression controls after you do this, you will have to rerig the facial hair so that it follows the new expressions.

Thank you, MW. That tutorial looks very useful. Downloading it now.
FWSA Narkissa HD for Genesis 3 Female(s)@algovincian Sweet! I'm really looking forward to seeing your renders with it!
Have you, or anybody else for that matter, been able to get a morph transferred to G1/G2 yet?
- Greg
Not I. Sadly I don't know how to do that.

FWSA Narkissa HD for Genesis 3 Female(s)The Narkissa character is amazing! Thank you so much FWSA! You guys have really gone above and beyond with this character!
I'm having so much fun dialing her into other characters and creating new characters with her - she's really cool! Particularly her shape morphs! She's definitely one of my favorite purchase I've made here at Daz! :D
I just wanted to show some love, and show my thanks for creating such a great character!

Here I've dialed her full body morph into Victoria 7 (she also comes with a separate vampire head morph if you just want to dial in the head alone).
I also played with adding a tail and some other morphs and made her into a cat girl. lol :)

She's definitely one of my favorite purchases so far! Thank you, FWSA, for the great character! :D I love her and hope to see more like her in the future!
Awesome stuff, Diva! Ended up picking her up so I can add her to my gene pool. Already have a concept for a render in mind . . .

FWSA Narkissa HD for Genesis 3 Female(s)@scorpio Oh nice! The head morph looks awesome on a male too. Very cool! Great render!
N.G.S. Anagenessis II - Revolution [Commercial]This is the render I was working on, I stopped it at 40%. I just loaded up a Render Studio scene preset, loaded V4, applied a free bella morph inj, then added some hair!
Great Render! Excellent!
Did you make any tweaks on surfaces or clean NGS2 presets?

ZBrush For Beginners- Notes And AssistanceHere's some work I did recently in ZBrush, morph is a custom one I did for the new Sora character and painting is mine. Still need to do the displacement/normals for this.
That is absolutely stunning!!!!
ZBrush For Beginners- Notes And AssistanceGreat work Novica, I haven't tried creating an eye from scratch. I do have some links in my pinterest account for creating eyes in Zbrush.
I have 8 boards for Zbrush which I've organised to suit me but if anyone is looking for a tutorial on something you would be likely to find it here

There are some great tutorials around for free and also some great stuff through Pixologic's website and also Youtube.
One of the tutorials I did through Ryan Kingsalien mentioned this site http://www.surfacemimic.com/gallery/gallery.php?mode=gallery&id=47&page=1
They sell some great alphas there I've bought a couple of skin ones for the face and they are really useful.
