Figure Metrics has me beyond frustrated!
You need to tell it which moprhs/properties to use for the measurements you want to chnage - there are presets for some figures, and you can create your own so you don't need to keep doing the same work.
So is there a list somewhere to help us know what morphs/properties should be used where? Like underbust circumference, What do we use for that? Just seems like if the catorgies were created, then the vendor could have finished by assigning the morphs. I wouldn't expect the "shoulder to shoulder" measurement to change the size of the legs. maybe i am not liking it as much because i had the mindset of this was a put in your numbers and go product, and not a fill out a map of the whole human body and then put in your numbers.
The problem would be that different people would have different morph sets available. I'm not aware of a list, and I don't have one of my own, but it might be an intresting project to try to compile one - perhaps a forum crowd-sourcing exercise.
Looking for crooked/bad teeth morphs...any help?Unfortunately, they didn't re-release it for genesis 3. Not sure if those would transfer with GenX.
For genesis 3 you do have teeth irregular in basic morphs: https://www.daz3d.com/genesis-3-female-head-morphs
Also have lots of ways to get crooked/missing teeth in 200 morphs: https://www.daz3d.com/200-plus-head-face-morphs-for-genesis-3-female-s
Suggestions for kitbashing Soul Calibur V4 characters?First of all, yes, I know, I know - V4 is downright venerable. So sue me, I love her.

Anyway, I'm interested in kitbashing several female characters from the video game series "Soul Calibur" (there are a couple of characters based on Ivy and Taki already) using the V4 base and existing character morphs/textures and outfits. Right now, I'm especially interested in doing a character based on Cassandra Alexandra, Sophitia's younger sister (and Pyrrha's aunt). There are quite a lot of images of her on the web, but this will do for an example:

There are some components I can figure out easily enough - the gloves and boots (though I'd like some suggestions for how to reproduce the boot tops), for example, and the ponytail hairstyle can easily be replicated with MayaX's '50's Ponytail at Rendo. Pretty fair lookalikes for Cassandra's sword and shield should also be reasonably easy to find. What I need help with is mainly the best character morph to use and the base outfit (her underpants/panties are no problem; it's the top that's tricky - I'm wondering if one of the tops from a steampunk outfit could be adapted, for instance Infamous/Scandalous: https://www.daz3d.com/infamous-scandalous-bundle-for-v4 ). Any suggestions?
Centaur 7Kudos and amazing work!
I really like when people think outside the box and do something really different.
(Of course, glancing at a promo, I'm stuck wondering... wth didn't anyone ever come up with a zebra morph/skin for Daz Horse 2?)
Centaur 7I appreciate it too I just need more information as I do not use DAZ studio much so have to know what I need to adapt for iClone,
geografts are a 50/50 risk but can be used as separate figures linked if needed
likewise Geometry shells need to be made props then fitted with the transfer utility
its all doable and I do it often
but if things like hairs and outfits sway me as the ones in the pro bundle are it gets very tempting, I have wishlisted it for those alone,
I am needing dental work or I prob would toss it in my cart now am hoping a few renders and other users trying stuff will give me more incentive.
Centaur 7on the off chance someone FBX exports it please let me know how that goes.
I gather the transition uses a geometry shell so I would need to replace that with a transfer utility conformed pieice (doable after creating a prop and using geometry editor)
the geografts may or may not work, some export perfectly rigged to iClone others dissapear leaving only the rigging no mesh, there is no way of predicting which will happen,
New Live Tuition Rigging Masterclass with Esha (commercial)Rigging is of course one of the more challenging steps of creating content. In this new live webinar we’re applying rigging to something very specific during this two hour session; necklaces.
We start with learning how to rig a base necklace and then moving onto more complex examples. Learn how to bring your designs to life with Esha’s thorough demonstration of the rigging process.
Gaining live tuition on rigging is a top investment for your workflow and the application of rigging you'll see in this session can be easily applied to other props and clothing.
It’s all done step by step, turning your fixed creations into animatable props.
We'll be sharing this as a live masterclass then the recording of this will be available in the DAZ store.
In this masterclass we go through in detail:-
- The Transfer Tool
- Tweaking Weight Maps
- JCMs
- Creating a base (or simple necklace)
- Creating a poseable necklace
- Adding additional bones
- Adjusting for movements and body shapes
- Generating a Necklace with Pendants
- Rigged
- Rigid Follow Node
Q&A sessions are included after each section; take advantage of this live webinar and drill down to explore your rigging problems with these kinds of props.
Webinar Date, Time and Duration
Saturday May 6th – 20:00 BST (London)/12:00 PDT (Los Angeles)/15:00 EDT (New York)
The session is to last up to 2 hours.

Looking for someone to create proper anime head for Genesis. Willing to pay as needed.ib4 Hitomi, Aiko4, Star, Anime Character Builder spam. I mean proper anime head like the ones you see in Miku Miku Dance.
What I want:
1) Head only
2) Either female/male
3) Ability to morph eye into different shapes (if possible)
4) seperate surfaces/material groups for:
- eyelash
- sclera
- iris+ pupil
- skin
- lips
5) basic set of expressions included:
orig01.deviantart.net/6523/f/2…
5) specifically geografted to fit Daz3D Genesis figure similiar to this: amyaimei.deviantart.com/art/De… (do note it must be for Genesis 1)
6) Also free reign to use for commercial use (thinking RWBY- like anime with Patreon support)
Centaur 7You can always use GenX to transfer the desired female morph over to G3M, and then combine this with the centaur geograft to create a female centaur.
Mature characters for G3FI get the impression that for mature and older characters in gen4 the age was nearly all in the skin. There was some morphing, but I don't think normal maps were so common, so most of the age was painted on. Looked fine from most angles, but sometimes fought with the lighting.
I picked up Jun G3F from Renderosity, and that's actually an issue she has, surprisingly. Apart from a slightly saggy bosom, all of her age is in her texture and not in her head morph. Which, given that Aging Morphs are a merchant resource and not hideously expensive, is kind of baffling. You wouldn't even need to include it as part of the sculpt, just dial in the age and package it appropriately.
In any event, since I do have Aging Morphs, dialing in age that keeps her from looking oddly smooth at different angles wasn't particularly hard.
I do think default Genevieve 7, Mei Lin 7 and Monique 7 could easily work for mid 30s out of the box, and Olympia 7 and Lilith 7 would do for early 30s.
Is there a way to keep the bones of autofit items, or do a partial auto-fit?Does this still work in DS 4.9? I can't get "Merge Hierarchies" to work in the transfer utility. Always wipes out the bones in the target.
Having a problem saving a morphed CharacterSo there is no way to save the scaled settings?
I suggest ERC Freeze to tie all the morphs and scaling parameters to a single dial, which can then be saved as a Morph Asset.
Question about subd and creating morphsIt occurs to me to do base morph, export a high subd figure to paint on. Mmm.
Keep Calm : There's always another Sale (Daily Sale Talk)I'll get Lola; kinda interested in the new bends, and a 6k texture is also interesting; a good price and uses references as opposed to yet another merchant resource: those I can easily do myself.
I am tempted for just those reasons also, but I find the face very unattractive and I wonder if changing the morph will change that much or if it is more texture related. I do really like the figure morph though
One of the reasons i did get the character; pretty and cute the runtime is groaning under the weight of.
There is character in the character. :) And toned down a little head-wise, then not so disturbing.

Well, I'm not dumb but I can't understand
Why she walk like a woman and talk like a man
Oh my Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola, lo lo lo lo Lola
Whatever. I do think we need characters who don't look like clippings from lad's mags.
General Technical Question1. Several choices. To me the easiest is to save as a Scene Subset. When savinh you can select what things are being saved. When you want to insert in a scene, just go to the scene subsets folder and double click your deisred subset. It will merge into the scene.
2. One way is to maek a primitive plane the size of the image and parent the plane to the image (ovelay the primitive and right click , select parent). Click the primitive plane and select the surfaces tab, click the image map drop down and load yourjpg image. Your jpg will have to be sized to the correct dimensions first.
3. If it's an Iray mirror you shouldn't need to do anything. If not, select the mirror, go to the surfaces tab, load the DAZ Iray nickle shader. there are some adjustments to the properties, but i don't remember them. There is a free Iray mirror shader on Sharecg.com
4. If you don't want to use a modeling software, the dress will have to have a longer/shorter morph.
Poser to Zbrush Morphing Hair & ClothingI was hoping someone could help me with the method of taking a posed V4 plus the hair into Zbrush where I can make some corrections to the hair's mesh. And if the same method could be used for taking a posed V4 and a piece of clothing into Zbrush to modify any problems with the clothing. I have a character with long hair lying on her stomach and it is creating clipping on her shoulder that the morphs that came with the hair cannot rectify. The hair is also sticking up at the back and I would like to push it into place, so it rests closer to the character's back.
Because my character is posed, I would really like to have both V4 and the hair in Zbrush so I can more accurately see what is going on while I am morphing the hair.
I am new to this pipeline and I'm still finding my way around Zbrush, so any help would be appreciated. I'm using Poser Pro 2014 and Zbrush 4R6.
I know my pipeline is good, as I have already taken V4 into Zbrush and made some correction morphs on her body, but this was with V4 by herself and using the GoZ function.
I tried to use the GoZ function to take both V4 and the hair into Zbrush, and while this did work and my posed character was a tool in Zbrush, it also appeared to be a single object - V4 and the hair combined. For obvious reasons, having V4 and the hair as a single object doesn't help.
I know it is possible to take a character and a piece of clothing from Daz Studio into Zbrush and morph the clothing to fit, so I am hoping the same is possible with Poser. Hopefully someone will have some ideas of the process for getting V4 and the hair into Zbrush, and keeping them separate tools so I can modify the hair with V4 there as a guide.

Corrupted Base Figure (Genesis 2 Female)Try temporaraly re-naming deleting the Dionne morph folder and load again. ignore errors and see if shape is normal. If so, the Dionne morphs may have somehow been set to default above zero - somewhere in my library>data>Daz3d>Genesis 2>Female>morphs>(mostDigital?)
-could be a few things though so just a guess..
question that uses multiable slider for a character"Multiple" is the word you are looking for in the title, LOL Most addon characters come with a slider for the full body and full head morph. You just slide that slider part of the way and slide another character slider a part of the way. Sometimes combining morphs gives you great results, sometimes not soo much.
