What Character is UsedPretty3D often uses their own character, Pretty Base, in their promos, but the character in the product you mentioned doesn't really look like her. You could try sending the vendor a PM. The product I mentioned is still a nice-looking one, but it's a V4 morph, so it would have to be transferred to work with Genesis, G3F, or G2F. It's worth a look; it's available over at Rendo.how to add morph in shaping tool?
I wish someone can tell me how to add morph in shaping tool? thanks
Skin builder for Genesis 2 Female (Eyebrows)SB3 has a slider to adjust Brow Height. Is that not working? I can't say I've had any issues with it, but the brow builder is the one SB3 feature that I rarely use since I aready owned Wow Brow, Real eyebrows and a large collection of fiber mesh brows. If you just can't get it low enough you might want to check your figure's shaping morphs and see if there's some kind of raise eyebrow morph going on there.
Different skin maps for all Gen 3 characters is dumbYou can use the map transfer utility to convert between the UV sets for a character if you want. There is some distortion (depending on how different the character UVs are) and it does take a few steps but it is doable and after you convert the maps you can save and reuse them.
I didn't get any noticeable distortion on the ones I converted; not done all I have though.
*FIXED (though still need tuition)* Help please - Corrupted my G2F characterWhen you say it's now a single morph dial do you mean it's a baked morph (that dial is driving an imported OBJ file - which is not generally a good way to work as you lose any correction morphs trigged by the components) or is it a master controller that triggers several other morphs?
Welcome Back, maelwenn!I love her smile. I think it's one of the best I've seen on a G3F. Reminds me of V4's excellent smiles.
Yes, I love her smile too. I have had to work very hard on G3F teeth and dialing expression morphs to get smiles that I liked. Hopefully, her beautiful smile is easier to get than that.
Nope... I'm a little disappointed as well, I hoped I would get those teeth when I purchased and injected the face, but no, false advertising, you just get the same child like teeth of all G3/V7 characters.
I wish merchants would include their teeth morphs as an option, who needs a belly button morph over good looking teeth.
Off to dial spinning again, trying to create the missing link in teeth for G3/V7
Make sure "Mouth Realism HD" is dialed up. This a G3 base morph.

Thanks for the heads up @RGUS, (I'm a big fan of your work!). Of course, I'm getting her anyway because she's so beautiful. I have found Easy Teeth to be most of the missing link in human tooth morphs. But I have found no magic bullet.

DAz studio 4.9 - Old content genesis morphsMorphs don't usually appear in the content panes - unlike the fourth generation and earlier daz figues there's no need to inject stuff (DS loads the paarmeter but doesn't load the actual morph shapes until needed).
Daz characters and system resources?I've never saved a file which was UNcompressed,. Never,. ..I've also never had any issues opening those compressed files,.
one thing I always do,. is make sure that i clear out any unused objects / shaders etc,. clear out any junk,..
At the top of the parameters panel,. there's a seach/filter option,. there's also a little blue button, (Root) which opens pop-out where you can select the morph area you want to work with.
Hope it helps :)
Thank you 3dAge!! New horizons have opened up for me with that teeny weeny bit of info - The blue button!! Hahaha. I wish I posted this a long time ago - oit would have made my life so mushc easier with other characters.
I also lost a file once after checking the Compression option, and decided to never do it again. But your advice is noted - cleaning all obsolete assets before savinf the fle. How much do you reckon a file size is reduced with compression activeated?
th3Digit - thanks also for the lnks. Let's hope Fenric misses us too much and deecides to return to the forum.
There is a script /plugin FBX import for Poser somewhere?all one needs is a working duf DAZ native version of CC base and one can use the transfer utility to fit clothes and export FBX add the key for Character Creator
getting one proving just about impossible
My Carrara rigged clothes versions import into 3Dcxchange and are recognised as iAvatars BTW and are auto retargetted jus CC has an issue and it might remain with a Poser pipeline too for all I know.

,. then save compressed,. locally
>> Just one annoying thing: The morph categories as they are neatly broken down in Poser (and Daz, I suppose) are lost - one only gets one extremely long list of morphs in Carrara's Parameter list.

Alpha Centaur from Alpha Centauri [commercial]Damn that looks awesome
sadly too many factors limiting it to DAZ studio only for me to buy at the moment though I do occasionally buy the HD stuff in spite of that.
And use DAZ studio and swear

Your RAWcentaur Rogan for example works in iClone but I cannot export HD morphs as FBX so until DAZ adds that ability and the geografting rules out fitting a HD obj to the rig with the transfer utility too (my usual workaround for clothes).
He does look so good though I may cave when cashed up again (broke at moment)
Dynamic clothes Gen 4 to Genesisanother way is to put M4 or V4 in the scene and load the clothes on them
morph your later figure to their clone shape (bought or GenX created)
set it as the collision item
then along timeline morph it back to your character as well as posing it.
*FIXED (though still need tuition)* Help please - Corrupted my G2F characterSorry, I've not been very clear, I am trying to convert a Genesis 2 Female custom shape I have made in to a single morph dial on the Genesis 2 Female so it appears in the Morph Loader parameter group in the figure root with my other V4 created imports, but no other figures were used in creating what I am trying to do this time. So basically I'm loading a G2F figure A, loading the shape from the file I saved it as, then trying to clone it on to G2F figure B so it appears as a morph that I can then save as a morph asset.
My mentioning v4 etc was only to explain how i'd successfully done it in the past and ways that I've tried to force the result by cloning to a different figure in the hope it works. I have also tried saving the shaped figure as a morph asset from the File > Save As menu but that didn't work either.
P.S. I may not be able to repsond now for 2 days as travelling away and will be in a rural area with poor internet, I will not be able to attempt any instructions given until my return.
There is a script /plugin FBX import for Poser somewhere?I only have PoserPro12 sadly, but if it is possible to create useable rigged figures from FBX in later versions that I can then actually get into DAZ studio where I can use the transfer utility it could solve my iClone character creater issues I have with Carrara which loads the iAvatar export FBX but its weightmapping of any attached clothes throws an error reimporting into Character Creator.
I need to know exactly which version of Poser works best though.
Carrara natively rigged collada imports into DAZ studio but not externally rigged imports exported, still get that mess.
Mind you those exciting developments coming to DAZ studio mentioned in another thread might include a working FBX importer which would be a game changer.
Daz characters and system resources?I'm pleased to say that I was able to import my Gen2 Male flawlessly from Poser Pro 2012. The morphs also work fine.
>> Just one annoying thing: The morph categories as they are neatly broken down in Poser (and Daz, I suppose) are lost - one only gets one extremely long list of morphs in Carrara's Parameter list. And the strange thing is, when one goes into mesh edit mode for the character, in the Morph tab, all those categories are still intact!
If there's anyone who could write a plugin that can correctly ranslate the categories in the Parameter tab - I'd be fisrt in line to buy it! I wonder, is Fenric still around?
Where are the guys? For Candybonanza, have you tried the GenX2 products to transfer morphs and clothing to G2M from Genesis, M4, and David 3? You can even transfer morphs from G3M. With the clones from Sickleyield, you can also transfer clothes from G3M to G2M. Also, Genesis and M4 poses work reasonably well on G2M, but do require a little tweaking. These may expand your resources a bit. My prefered figure is Genesis, but I have some Genesis 2 and 3 content which I am able to use with Genesis because of the utilities and clones which are available. Finally, if you decide to start buying G3M characters and content, that doesn't mean you have to stop using your G2M content.
I've seen this mentioned in the past but am not too sure how to do it. Is there a link / tutorial around?
I know that with the exception of shoes, I can use Genesis & G3M stuff with my G2M characters with only minor issues but if I could get the posing stuff working, that would really be a plus. Thanks again for the suggestion.
Different skin maps for all Gen 3 characters is dumband possibly PA's painting in apps that change the UV's and not wanting to convert back with map transfer etc which one could actually do with all of them.
A nice easy for users batch map transfer scripting facility would go a long way is anyone wanted to market it.
June 2017 - Daz 3D New User Challenge - Scenes and Landscapes
I have no good Landscapes in DAZ, so I chose the Dystopia City Blocks but in my first test rendering, I saw a irritating reflection on the street. Is that a conflict between the shaders and Iray? I use DAZ 4.9
I like the idea of using those for the city scape. As you say I would expect the high reflection to be a result from shader transfer to Iray. The city block originally were intended to look at from the distance so they might lack at the details a bit. but you could try to select the highly refelctive surfaces and tone down the refelctivity/ specularity /glossyness. Take a look if Iray created a top coat or something for the street. Will be a bit of fiddeling with the shaders to get the result you want. Eventually you can look if there is a bumb map in place, if not you can create on from the diffuse map. (ask again if needed. I can tell you then)
The you can go a different way altogether and take it at face value, say your future town is like that, alter some of the surfaces to emissive in various colours and tone down the environmental light and add some magneto flying cars on you glossy street.
Main point is that you add some kind of depth using atmosphere.
