where does TAO need to reide? what folder? 
I bought the USC product and installed, but no apple trees appear at all ..tried a couple different scenes and it just grass, gravel, etc .. no trees

I have this probably too, tried it last night but didn't really have time to mess with it had to go to bed to get up early.  Did you reinstall the new USC or just the Tangy Apple Orchard?  I uninstalled the Tangy Apple Orchard last night but it still didn't work.

Is this daz Central? if so the issue has been reproted, for now please try using Install Manager.

Hi everyone !

I'm new there and I would like to try Daz studio. Unfortunately, once I've downloaded the software, I can't sign in. Indeed, I can't type the @ in the "e-mail address" bar.

I tried to fix it, reinstalling Daz Central, using a virtual keyboard, restarting my laptop, waiting 48h, pouring unicorn's horn powder on my laptop on a full-moon night... Nothing works (not even homeopathy). My only trail now is that it could come from my OS : my laptop runs Windows 7. Did anyone have the same issue ? Is there a chance I could fix this ?

When aply a pose to the hand or the arm, the whole figure moves a bit. Even when I uncheck the checkboxes of "Pose Transforms to include". There seemed to be an error.

My additional suggestions:

- A preview window

- a pose exchange for bone / bone and children: left to right and right to left

- Not only option bone / bone and children, also an option for selection of bones

Need clarification what you are trying to do specifically. Give me a use case scenario where this will be beneficial?

How will this work? Selected bone and below and above was the best solution to get a result. You cannot select multiple bones at once and apply a pose to those specifically in one instance. The Script is designed for one selection at a time only. You run into serious issues when trying to have multiple bones selected at once and trying to add specific options to them at once. Some features are specific to limbs where there is a left and right side which are handled differently to central bones eg things like Pelvis. Some options are disabled depending on what bone is chosen based on its location on figure. If you choose say left shoulder and pelvis how will the script know what options apply to each within its design? It just leads to overcomplication.

When i install this product, all other products for ED2 disappear (Morphs+; Customize for ED2). They only re-appear when i uninstall Dress + Undress

Does anybody know how to fix that? 

Both Morphs+ and Customize use their own folders, so this sounds unusual. I'm assuming this is through DIM/Daz Central install?

If so you may have to get in touch with customer support and have them check into it.

Even though I own my house I will pick of those Homes for Sale magazine given away for free at local banks and such places and look at the houses in them. It's sort of day dreamy and nostaligic activity. I also read the New York Post for one reason & one reason only, to browse the Real Estate section and save the pictures on my phone of the buildings and building interiors I find pretty.  

I lived in Manhattan for a short time very close to the U.N. in an apartment on the 2nd floor. It was cramped and I kind of liked it as it was like living in central Chicago when I was a kid or in downtown Zurich again. Everything is so convenient to do without spending an extra dime via walking and no car needed and you don't even have to ride the subway, trains, or trams except to leave downtown. It is very expensive though, much more than I could afford, it was a loaner apartment to try out Manhattan, if I had decided to stay I was going to have to move to Jersey City.

Now with these movement restrictions in big cities I'm glad I decided not to stay; before I would walk from one end of Manhattan to the other just to see the architecture.

Subways are being cleaned fom 1am to 5am every day. No 24 hour subway service. SUUCCKKS for me because i work a job that includes overnights. Arghh. Nope, you're not missing anything. The only good thign about New York is that we respect the experts and wear our darned masks most of the time. I just got tresults that I tested positive for antibodies, so that either means at best I'm immune or at worst I'm a carrier. Whooo freaking knows??? It turned out that my laptop's graphics card needed an updated driver. I have downloaded and installed the driver, and now my problem is solved.

I can open my DAZ Studio, Hexagon, and DAZ Install Manager again. And, I now have DAZ Central installed and working.

I have downloaded the Daz Central installer exe "DazCentral_1.5.0.8_Win64.exe" on my laptop, which has Windows 10 - 64 bit version. Then, when I had clicked this exe file, nothing happened.

Afterwards, I had clicked on my start menu shortcut for opening Daz Studio and nothing happened - it doesn't want to open anymore. I also have this same problem with Hexagon and Daz3d install manager.

I need help with fixing this problem.

Looks useful if one wants to build a vehicle. They are videos. Unless there's something about your tripod unlike my tripods I suspect it's a little overkill. Something to grab when it comes on sale perhaps. 

Can you share an image of what the .obj for the tripod looks like? Some have legs that tube together, others have a central slot that fits inside the top leg, others ???

A tripod for what? A camera, a telescope, a surveyor's gizmo, ??? Some have static parts others also telescope.

How did you intall it? Manually, using DIM, using Daz Central or Connect?  Please, let me know to see if I can download it using the same method and verify if there are missing files.  You can also try downloading and installing it using a different method that the one you originally used to install it.

The morphs dials data should be installed in these folders:

 <The name of your content Library, ie My DAZ3D Library>\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Female\Morphs\Virtual_World\VWLashes

 <The name of your content Library, ie My DAZ3D Library>\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8\Female Eyelashes\Morphs\Virtual_World\VWLashes

I also suggest you to open a support ticket with Daz just in case there is any issue with the installers (I don't have control over those apps). 

I tried installing an older driver that didn't work either. I am using a studio driver for NVIDIA that's for grapic design and still nothing. The popup at the start of Daz works, it launches my web browser also the user guide but then shuts down. I have tries uninstalling Daz and Daz Central then reinstalling. I am at a loss.

It will no longer download content at all. All attempts fail. That directory has been used before, now suddenly DIM can't find it? I tried Daz Central, that thing thinks I need to install Daz Studio, then it just sits there. It seems now my only option to reinstall my content is to go through all my content one by one, and do it manualy. Or Dump Daz all together and call it a loss. I'm going to get rid of everything DAZ, clean my registry, of it, Get rid of DIM, then try this one more time. DIM now even seems to have deleted all my content archives. This is beyond frustrating.

Or some uber-ultra modern space with stairs that I'd question the safety of and that is much larger than the average flat most people actually live in. Crikey, some of ultra modern the bathrooms I've seen here alone appear to  have as much if not more square footage than my entire studio flat.

Haha, this is very much the experience of those of us who grew up in 90s watching Friends. As a kid, I loved it. Then I got into my mid-20s and was like, "Ok... Season 1 Monica is a diner cook, Rachel is a waitress, Joey is an out of work actor and Chandler an office drone... and they live in those apartments in the Upper East/West side of Manhattan, a stone's throw from Central Park??? I hate this stupid LYING show!" lol  

 

They at least tried to justify Monica's situation by revealing that she was illegally subletting the (rent-controlled) apartment from her grandmother. 

With regard to making more period dress/costumes these are often technically complex, not to mention DAZ's extremely high standards for clothing submissions.

As a new PA I have a particular interest in the 1920s and would like to produce clothing/accessories/decor from this era, but it is going to be very time consuming!

Oh my god, a new PA who is interested in period dress/costume and IN PARTICULAR 1920s?! The fact you exist just made my day @Silas3D ! I can't wait to see your creations down the road.

I have been haveing issues with Daz for a little while now and decided to see if unistalling and reinstalling would help. After several hours of fighting with Daz Central and trying to uninstall I finally seemed to get everything uninstalled. I had difficulty reinstalling Daz then, now that it is installed it closes right after opening. How do I fix this issue. My OS is Win 10 64-bit and I have a GTX 1080 video card. I have unistalled and reinstalled the software already also.

As for outfits not showing up I'm short of ideas. In previous versions some diffeo settings were saved in the blender default scene as explained by Thomas, but I don't see how this could harm apart having to save both the diffeo and blender defaults. I personally use the portable (zip) version of blender so nothing is saved into the registry, I don't know if this could be the issue.

You may try with the factory settings for blender and if this doesn't work then uninstall both blender and diffeo. I am unable to reproduce the issue so this is as far as I can help I'm afraid.

- restart clean

Paranoia is good; this time, however, it was only after I tried 2.83.3 that I had the issue. I've not tried again yet so will let you know how it goes.
