i just wrote a new thread not knowing about this one.. now i edited my post and here it is:

i'm not sure if it's just me, but i could have sworn that until not so long ago, when i looked at a purchased product in my product library, there was also the date of the order/purchase... because i'm not going thru +10 years of orders individually to check a date for a single product... and i know i can check this on DIM (or probably on daz central, which i have ABSOLUTELY NO INTEREST IN DOWNLOADING/USING), but DIM takes eons to load and i want to do this from here, from my library since i already have my browser open and i'm browsing thru the daz site...

so, if it's just me remembering things that never existed, please someone tell me so. it happens from time to time...

and if the lack of date is a new "feature" of the remodeling of the site, PLEASE TAKE IT AWAY respectively BRING THE DATE BACK. i don't want to be dependent on/pushed to use other apps like DIM or daz central for something that was perfect in my library!

don't push people to adopt a feature (daz central) that they don't want by removing essential functions and features from other places! and if luckily, as i could read above, the bringing back of the old infos seems to be a planned step, well then make it a priority instead of wasting time on other things - i don't know why it was taken away in the first place.

excuse my harsh tone, i'm just so sick of those "sites remodelings" (yeah DA and also livejournal, i'm looking at you) where good features are taken away making everyone annoyed, and then other "super" features nobody or at least not the majority wants are added...

Do you mean Daz Central? Connect is installing through Daz Studio itself. If you clicked Download and install they should be installed, so wouldn't show in the Install pane, Lost and Found is a specific category in categorised content views so if everything in the product was categorised nothing wold be listed there.

Does anyone know if a manual installation file has been added to the rotations add-on for Mesh Grabber since release? Its forum thread confirms that it did release without a manual option, and its store page still lists only DIM and Daz Central. It'd be an easy pick for a coupon slot for me otherwise.

DAZ Central is using QT 5 if you didn't notice. 

I have reseted my password and account, reinstalled the application, but failed to log in. it says that my account doesn't exist in records, but I can easily log in with the same account on the website. Am I missing something?

Have you been trying out DAZ Central? That looks like the sort of thing some of its victims users have reported.

OK, struggling with Studio Install, again. Why don't you allow in the studio installation the option to install on another drive besides "C".

Install Manager allows you to set a base path for applications

I am trying to install Studio on my MAC with DIM (Central is a pain because you cannot select "ALL" when installing the assets which I have hundreds.) Anyhow, I carefully looked at the structure of the files/directories on the install on the "C" Drive ( I call it a "C" drive on the MAC even though it isn't..It is the main volume). I set up and copied over precisely the structure/files/directories on a very large external Drive. Well, everything is fine except CMS will not start. It says it cannot find it. So, I go into Content Directory Maintenance and give the path. I go to the CMS tab in preferences and browse to the directory. I apply and accept. Close down studio; re-open Studio and the same issue. I go to Content Directory Maintenace and the path I set is now gone. I go to the CMS tab in Preferences and it has switched back to "NONE" and wiped my path. So, what is up with that???? I manually downloaded the PostreSQL download; clicked it an nothing happened...so what is up with that?? I gave permission to open it on the MAC (The latest OS is a pain in the rumpus..it is getting like Windows...don't allow this, and that without your "state Govenours' Approval"......CRAP!!) Anyhow, I would like to get into Studio; I have images to process. Any help would be appreciated.

Hey everyone,

I just purchased and installed the male and female body morphs for genesis 8 and I just can't figure out why they're not working/why they're not showing up. After installing, I click "open" in Daz Central, and this error pops up:

I've searched my files through and through, uninstalled and reinstalled DAZ Central, read posts with similar problems but not exact, and am just not having any luck or success.

yeah after some tests really seens which neither daz central or DIM are actually full download the pluging and only download a "little part of it and instal that part missing content, i will go back using the old version for now, it's really feel like the "pluging package is broken and only instaling "little pieces of it, not the full plugging, because it's only download 2mega in the DIM while the Daz central claims it have 5 mega but it is using the DIM to download and "not installing" it's only download and not install and only download 2mega making it's looks like the pluging is broken.

it's not "instaling neither in daz or unreal, the only 'transfer appearing in my daz is from my "old version" the new version is not appearing.

I put in for a refund for my entire order of old products bought tonight - not one single item appeared in my dim and from the looks of it the only options being offered to download is central and or manual zip both which don't use actually one is zip only though on their pages dim is listed

That's weird, the large purchase of older items I made a few hours ago are all showing up in DIM.

tried several times without any luck, not been having a lot of luck lately with purchases had a lot of stuff not showing up in right locations or missiing files or other problems these were new releases too but tonight bought bunch of pretty old I think content well other add on content poses I didn't get are from the Michael/Vicky 4 days

You may want to audit your Studio library installed content. I thought everything was downloading too, but all is not as it seems. If things were fixed I would have more to download. Just submitted a ticket for what seems like 31 missing products but one item can affect multiple others because it's part of a bundle buy. So 31 is not the true count of products involved. My product library has grown 7 pages this month and unfortunately I had to put the word 'multiple' in the Invoice field of the ticket form, which would not be necessary if the products page still displayed that info.  I simply sent them a screenshot of an example of what was offered (clearly DIM install) but not delivered. I'm hoping for a resolves versus refunds. What good are textures without the outfit itself?

I suspect it in my case, it is related to the fact that all of my missing products, offered and purchased as DIM install types, surprise-surprise, were populated on the product library page as connect install only. So now instead of shopping I'm auditing DIM and hunting down invoice numbers. 

yeah I buy soooo much so often not quite every day but nearly I forget most of what I buy or I don't even look at it for a long time probably am missing stuff plus smart content is what I use most but not everything goes thereand again forget what things are called makes hard to find sometimes. I was having all kinds of trouble with it. When I finally was able to get some of the products to show up in DIM I kept getting "Failed to Install" errors. Looks like, according to DAZ_Rawb's comment, that it was a server synchronization issue and that the error should be fixed now so that it shouldn't happen again. *crosses fingers*

I'm happy too even though I asked for a refund I did want these products and happy got them really for my western themes was gonna get stonemason set too but that's huge thought have trouble using and with these maybe easier do scenes and I think jack did at least some of them so they're good too. Interesting you bring up the failed to install errors had some of them too lately as well as mentioned before some new releases were missing files or not located in right sections or virtually unfindable wonder if all related and if I do unistall in studio then reinstall it'll fix them nowor till something they working on

I used Daz Central, but you need to make sure your DIM is up to date also.

ok  i've removed the "epic version then instaled the Daz it don't even ask me the "path" it "auto install" but nothing happening.

and compared with the epic version i feel this version looks "smaller" because when i look it says which have only 2mega to instal and is almost auto the install while in epic it take a little and the "daz to unreal icon don't appear in the unreal menu editor.

edit: it's feel like the "dim or daz  central is failing to load the full package or os trying to install a corrupted one because nothing is happening, for exemple while it appear which the "pluging was instaled in unreal the icon of it among the others in the main menus is not appearing and also in the daz the option to "send to unreal is on the "edit" not in file, it's really something is very messed here.

ok since both plugings (daz and epic) are the same and epic is just a "more new version" any chance to you to update the epic version which seens to be the only one to "proper working for me.

I used Daz Central, but you need to make sure your DIM is up to date also.

well then what i need to make to have everything work? i must uninstall the epic one to try to instal the DIM one?, what would be the proper way to download because also it's seens which the DIM version is not downloading proper too, currently if i do want to install the one from daz what would be the proper process? coming from the old version of the epic?

You need to remove the one from the Epic store, then install the one from the Daz Marketplace.
