I need some help with the installation. I can see the scripts but no Create fluidos things is showing up in the edit bar.

This is for Product Sku: 69049, no previous fluidos installation. Fluidos is not showing up in the installed plugins.

Found the issue after reading the manual install readme.
 

If you use DIM, you need to install the  Fluidos II for Daz Studio LITE for DAZ Studio 4.5+ (Win 64-bit)  (or the Mac 64-bit version) , not only the content and tutorial. Daz Central can install all the files with one click.

Please make sure to add those, the product is currently defunct.

These files cannot be manually downloaded, but you can download them using DIM, and then, install them manually if you wish.

You need to take everything in /21630_Genesis3MaleClothing/Content/ and place it in C:\Users\Gondar\Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library\, where it will merge with the existing folders of the same name. However, it is simler to use Daz Central or Daz Install Manager, or to use the Install pane inside DS - it looks as if yoru paths are set up for Install Manager.

There's nothing special to do, simply install it either with DIM, Daz Central or manually.

DIM and DazCentral installed on the new machine will not see it as installed there, as the list of installed content is stored locally.

I purchased 3 new products from Daz Studio and was told I needed Dazcentral. Downloaded it and then downloaded the files.Those three are the only products listed in my Smart content and they show up with the warning image and loading them into daz gives "could not open file: File does not exist.  How can that be when Dazcentral installed the character? So now what happened to the $1000 dollars worth of files I bought. I always used the default DIM install with no problems and Dazcentral "installed" the last three. Please help

Nothing requires Daz Central, Install Manager still works. You probably just need to reset your content directories to those used by DIM - download this script and drag it into the DS Viewport to run it.

The first house, from 1856, was very sturdy and very well built- with those types of Lath and Plaster walls.  There were also the original pocket doors that separated the living from the dining rooms, a large bay window in the dining room, and a huge picture window in the living room that was six feet by five feet, and both the bay windows and picture windows were topped with the ornate leaded glass decor.  The windows were all original rope pull, lead glass windows in the house-but they were eventually replaced.  However, the dimensions of the originals were kept, even with the expense of the sheer size of them (they were taller than most modern windows, and therefore much more expensive to replace).

They had kept the iron caps within the central chimney so that the bedrooms upstairs could choose to use wood burning furnaces and tap into the main chimney stack for the exhaust.  The original claw foot tub was upstairs as well.  Even haunted, I miss that house.  I did go by it a few years ago, still standing strong even if the people that own it now tore out all of the landscaping (I'm talking about grapevines that were planted when the house was built, among other things) and they did change a lot of the interior decorating-but I never did go back inside.

There were many things that happened in that house; from waking up with brusing around my neck, arms and legs to missing eye glasses (later found in the cast iron wood burning stove in my bedroom, or the walk in closet up on a shelf), moved glasses of water or soda bottles I had finished the night before but didn't want to wander into the kitchen at 3 am to put it in the sink, to seeing figures walk past me in mirrors or the TV (on or off, didn't matter), hearing heavy foot falls (like someone wearing very heavy boots) walk from the upstairs bathroom, down the hall to the attic access halway, then back to the stairwell, half way DOWN the steps, and back up again, to hearing someone whisper in your ear.  In part, it was so much that it was half of the reason why I never selpt.  When you lay in bed hoping not to be woken up with something choking you again, it's kinda hard to sit back and relax.  Even worse when it happens and you can kinda-sorta see the line of a face over you, but nothing else.  Literally.  That one happened before I even went to sleep- I was laying there reading, finally put the book aside to Try and get to sleep.  Turned the light off (the curtain was open, so I could see the inside of the bedroom with the street lamp at the corner of the block shining in), rolled onto my back and BAM- hands on my throat and no one in my room.

I didn't sleep after that for a day or so until I ended up going to a friend's house and stayed there for the weekend.  

How do we get 2.0? The version Daz Central and DIM install is 1.9.5.

And there are STILL items included in the Special Items section that aren't discounting at all, like https://www.daz3d.com/aura-for-genesis-8-female and https://www.daz3d.com/monica-hair-for-genesis-8-females , as well as the Feed The People bundle, which shows as FREE but goes to a dead link since it's no longer even in the store.   

Seriously, is there anybody who checks things before the store goes live?   

Since it goes live at midnight, then it is highly unlikely any salaried staff will be looking at that time.

I wrote "before it goes live", as in actually pretesting the ads to make sure they don't blow up from simple logic errors.  And I'm sorry, but the excuse about no one being at DAZ really doesn't cut it, especially not in these days when a huge percentage of Americans are working from home.  If DAZ insists on starting the new sales at DAZ midnight, and they can't seem to be able to launch a single sale without errors, then they need to have a late shift to cover the inevitable screw ups rather than asking their customers to grin and bear it.  That's just common business sense and there are plenty of IT people who LIKE working the late shifts... and even more who can work remotely from other locations.  Simple fact - Renderosity launches their new sales every single night at midnight Central Time, and they have a tiny fraction of the errors that DAZ does.          

Try to uninstall it and install it again, in DAZ Central. Worked fine for me!

Daz Connect is installing through Daz Studio, rather than manually or through Install Manager/Daz Central.

Earlier this month my faithful Daz rig died, taking the C: drive with it. Fortunately I have off-site backups that should let me get back most of the personal files I had on it, and all my Daz products were stored on an external drive that is still OK.

So, I now have a shiny new PC and, first things first,  I want to get Daz up and running.

I've installed Install Manager (Daz really want you to load Daz Central, but cobblers to that), and then installed Daz Studio itself. I've changed the content directories in DIM and Studio to get My Daz3d Library from the external drive, and that seems to work fine when getting things from the content library.

What I'm not seeing is anything in Smart Content (which I rarely use, but still want), and DIM thinks all the products I've bought still need to be downloaded. I guess I could download them all again, but there are over 7000 of them, and I'm gonna be spending enough time downloading my backup. Is there any way to short-cut the process?

Note that I have not yet started downloading my backup, so if there's stuff in it that I should be prioritising, let me know!

hey everyone! i've installed the bridges for C4d and blender, the Bridge folder was under Scripts in Daz and worked just fine the 1st time around after installation. 

but for some reason after restarting it dissapeared from the scripts! can't find it ANYWHERE.. i've tried launching from daz central, doesnt help, also checked my paths in DIM - it's in the root of C4d r21. it still shows up in my C4D just fine, but can't seem to locate the Scripts =(( please help, getting desparate!!

I must be missing something here, because I don't see any morphs after installing the Breast Control package via Daz Central. Same for Glute Control. The only things I see are options to reset morphs. I'm on Daz Studio 4.12.1.118.

Nope they don't show up in the Content Library, I had installed "Simply Grass - The Rough Stuff" with Central, it shows it as installed, it does not show in Content Library, I assume the files are on the HD, the other items I checked were

Shouldn't be needed if the files are actually there. They should be available through the Content Library under Daz Studio Formats if nothing else.

And back to my original issue, Motorbike ZAZ did not install correclty (out of many products this is the only one I have had a problem with)

Originaly I must have installed it through connect as it was in the cloud folder, and I had extreme difficulty purging it, should I try it through Central? at least that seems to delete files from the HD

If it's still showing as a Connect install (coloured icon, not circled triangle) try right-click>Uninstall.

to further the experiment, I re-installed this item (Parkside Freight) from Daz Central

In Daz Studio, it lets me select it and add it to a scene with no errors, but the main product icon still shows the circle and triangle!

for a test, I dl the zip file for one of my products that in Daz Central says "open" avalible

In Daz Studio it shows not installed

Found a distinctive file name from the dl

I searched my Library and there it was

I ran uninstall from Daz Central and it erased the files from the Library

I'm not sure how Daz central tracks installs, I assume it's the same as DIM - it has a Manifests folder in the base directory with a .dsf file detailing what it placed where. Regardless of what Daz Central says, are the files actually there? If they are, are you sure DS is pointing to the folder that contains the Data/Runtime folders?

It looks like all the products I installed using Daz Central show as still installed when looking at Daz Central, they have the "Open" button avalible, but they show as not installed in Daz Studio, thye are greyed out and have the circled triangle
