I have two important questions:

1- I have installed DSON importer for poser and I have observed than genesis character does not import Michael 4 body morphs proportion, ( neither V4 morph ), however in daz 3d studio I have those morphs. Is any way of importing the morphs to DSON genesis poser?

2- Poser Genesis character, does not include IK chain, is possible to activate the IK parameter it?

I've got a problem with the eyelids of Michael 4.
It seems that their pose can't be exported. For the first time I need a point a view where you look in the eyes from beneath.
That's why i haven't noticed this error before. Unfortunately I couldn't find a solution for closing the eyelids after exporting the model.

Okay...I have an oddball question. I have begun working on a Samurai/Yakuza project and I'm wanting to add the traditional body/arms tattoos.
For example -- the pics 2, 3, 4 & 5 from Way of the Samurai However, most of the tattoos mats/products require older morphs/add ons...example: Jinn for V4 Male Vittorio requires a mod to convert V4 to male. Or Immortal Ronin requires Michael 4 morphs

I have Victora 5, Michael 4 & 5, and several of the Genesis mods. Will the add on v4-and-m4-shapes-for-genesis solve some of these issues or will I need to go back and pick up each and every mod? Additional, I have run into a problem that one of the products I picked up a few weeks ago requires m4-elite-ethnic-faces -- could I just get the newer ethnicity-for-genesis-bundle and solve that problem?

Thanks...any help/suggestions on this subject would help.

Go to "Runtime:Libraries:!DAZ" and run DzCreateExPFiles-M4.command
Then load Michael 4 from the original .cr2 in "Figures:DAZ People".
See if the dials appear now.

Hello fellow Dazittes,
I have Michael 4, Michael 4 Morphs, and I just installed Michael 4 Muscle Morphs

everything is showing up in my figures menu in Poser 9, and I have clicked on the INJ add buttons
but the total body morphs are not showing up in my Parameters Menu.

I have tried the "This Product uses ExP Technology, see here for installation instructions." link on the product page but the link isn't working.

For what it's worth, I used GenX to transfer over your AA John and AA Michelangelo head morphs, and didn't have any particular difficulty. I used the "Create Single Morph" option for the Actor/Head area, since they're only head morphs, and they appeared in the GenerationX/Michael 4/Head section and functioned as expected.

One thing to note, and I hope I'm not overstepping or stating the obvious: if you want end products that can be used in both Studio and Poser, you'll need to output both DSF or DUF and PZ* files. (I'm guessing that Poser will still prefer PZ files, even when dealing with DSONed Genesis stuff.) Studio doesn't know what to do with PZ files that try to deal with Genesis morphs.

First off, the Writable Runtime Folder entry for the Importer Preferences the DSON Support item in the Scripts Tab in Poser is blank upon initial install. Silly me, I thought that this would be the DAZ runtime folder. No,no, no. This needs to be the Poser Runtime folder. In my case that's simply: D:/Poser Pro 2012 and NOT the D:\Poser Pro 2012\Runtime although that might work as well.

Secondly, you need to MANUALLY add the DAZ library. This IS the Daz runtime folder. In my case that's: D:\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library\Runtime. Contrary to what is shown in the DSON Importer_user_guide, this ends up getting added to the Poser Library as My Library and NOT Genesis Essentials as shown, and the Poser interface doesn't allow you to rename it.

So, once I got those things straightened out is seems to work pretty well. I've only had a short time to play around with it and don't have that much DAZ content so time will tell if there are other issues.

I've been loading my content in separate libraries. For example "Michael 4", "Victoria 4", "Scenes", "Animals". I just add the libraries to Poser and DAZ as needed. I've kept all of the Genesis content in the default DAZ library since it previously only worked with DAZ Studio.
For the Mac it's ::Users:{username}:Documents:DAZ 3D:Studio:My Library.

After installing the new Genesis content, I added this directory to Poser. Poser only adds folders containing the runtime folder and uses the name of the added folder. You can rename "My Library" to something else before adding to Poser, but it might mess up DAZ Studio if you have "My Library" mapped to both programs like I do.

What most people find useful is the Morphs++ pack for M4. There are loads of morphs in it, including a Head Size morph, among others. The product page should tell you all of the morphs that are included. It is not free though.

A3 is very similar to V3, so you could either use the V3 plugin or you could get the A3 plugin. If you buy just TC2 on its own I don't think you get any conversions. A4 is not a separate mapping, the fourth generation mappings are just Victoria 4, Michael 4 and Kids 4.
